    Can you do a helmet for the warlock at level 0 30 and 60?
    I think you can inspire you of the WSE helmet.
    level 0 a wick on the helmet, at level 30 a badge on the helmet and for 60 i don't have idea.

    an other question, it's to change the other part of the heros?
    for exemple change the body of the warlock...
    and this will affect the ranked mode?

    and, can we change the icon of the personnage such as the force commander?
    for example change the actual Plague champion by the plague marine icones?
    or the warp spider exarque icon by the warp spider icon?

    hey, i downloaded the first FC helmet and it worked find, nut when i try doing the other helmets my computer says I either have to find a program to deal with the files or save the file. What should I do?

    But like i said, if you like playing off line you can grab the Epic Wargear mode and get the rank 60 for all your units
    Problem is that isn't both online and offline compatible though, right? I play ranked quite a lot, and I play offline too - which is why I prefer your mod.

    Anyhow, if you at least ad a basic helmet for the Farseer, I will be quite pleased. It is nice to have incentive to get the higher ranked gear, but unfortunately it seems to take me a long while (mainly because I jump around with race selection too much).

    I was wondering if you'd consider giving the Kommando Nob a "heavy battle gear" type of look. Maybe give him more plating, and a horned helmet (the Nob leader horned helmet perhaps), and some extra armored bitz.

    Overall though, i'm really looking forward to more Ork and Chaos additions to your mod. Orks because they're awesome and I play them the most, and Chaos because they have so much potential visually.

    By the way, I love the new Warlock armor. The shoulder pads look really great. Is there anyway you could make the Seer Council, Warlock Commander, and Squad leaders look different?

    Well then i'm afraid all i have to say is that i don't plan to make the rank 60 wargear available just like that, that'd be cheating , besides if you want the rank 60 wargear so bad it's not even hard to get it and still be able to play ranked.

    You'd just have to rename some files, for example the steps would be as follows:

    Use Corsix's sga reader 2 to open Gameart.sga(chaos files are in 210data or something)
    Extract the race's model files and textures located in race_eldar(or _marine, _ork, _tyranid)\troops_wargear\armour(or heads)
    Move the _epic versions of armour and wargear to the _common folders
    Change the name of the _epic armour and textures to _common
    Pack the .sga

    Done. You now have rank 60 wargear for all your units and it's online compatible, i however don't plan to do this but someone may want to do it, or you could do it yourself and release it as your own mod, it wouldn't take much time to do it considering that's just copy pasting and renaming stuff and if you or whoever wants to do it has any problems they can ask here in this forums, we're all helpfull people.

    And i haven't forgotten about the Farseer's helmet, she's next in line after the Warlock. As for the Orks, i have some ideas for the nobz and the Warboss didn't really think about doing anything to the kommando but we'll see once i get there.

    And unfortunately i can't make the 3 warlocks look different from each other withouth breaking online compatibility.

    What are you trying to open? You don't need to open the .sga files, and the .module file should be opened with wordpad/workpad or whatever it's called, if you don't have it(i think everyone has it though) then use notepad.

    There's nothing new on his back, just 2 gems on his backpack and a different texture for the backpack, but that's not even noticeable from the pic so... what?

    Well Chaos IS next after Eldar and i just have the Warlock, Farseer rank 0 helmet and Banshee Exarch to make so yeah i can, i think i can finish the Eldar today.

    Now, onto bussiness. The Warlock has a graphical glitch when you upgrade his armour, don't know how to fix it withouth messing around with rbf files(which would break online compatibility) so i'll release 2 versions, one that's just the new helmet and one containing the new armour.

    Master Warlock

    Ok here's the deal with this guy, for reasons unknown that make no sense to me, his armor has a graphical glitch when you upgrade Wargear.

    When you buy one of his armors this adds another mesh and texture in place, this is not noticeable when looking at him from above, but once you zoom in it is noticeable and ugly. So since i have been unable to fix this and i believe it's impossible to fix without breaking online, this guy has 2 versions, Master Warlock Armor and Helmet and just Helmet.

    Here you can see him in all his glory:




    This version, contains both the Armor and the Helmet:

    As always, drop the .sga archive in Gameassets/Archive and modify the .module file to load him.

    I don't really see a reason why, the Warlock is pretty much perfectly done. I just changed the rank 60 because i know a lot of people hate the antlers, other than adding a small teardrop or something to the rank 30 helmet i don't think i can do anything for him.

    Well the default Warlock is pretty well done anyway. Anyway, here's a helmet for the rank 0 Farseer, the file contains the rank 30 and rank 60 armour too:

    So just replace the old file and edit the module file as usual, unless you like the ninja mask, then you don't want this file. Anyway, you can get her here:

    Preview Banshee Exarch

    Perhaps in the future, for now i'd rather finish with Eldar and move to Chaos. Anyway, preview for the Banshee exarch:



    This is her Rank 0 armor, it uses a modified epic banshee helmet, with some texture changes and a small addition of armor to her face.

    For the rare helmet i plan to give her Hegscream, Hegscream is the Helmet Banshee Exarch's use, ie, this:

    However i plan to base it on the artwork since the miniature also sucks ass, and for her Epic helmet, well, that's a surprise but i'm sure Eldar fans will like it.

    Well Heg scream is done, no in-game pic unless someone uploads a replay of a Eldar player between rank 22 and 52 using the Bansheee Exarch, meanwhile here's a max picture:



    Only the middle orb glows, the other 4 are just those bumps Eldar are so fond of putting everywhere.

    I still have some adjustments to make to the textures, but that's pretty much how the epic head will look. I'll upload her tomorrow. Oh, and if you were wondering the eyes are not Teamcolorable, they're just green.

    And it should be pretty obvious on who she's based.

    Well Necrons and Eldar are from the same time, it wouldn't be surprising if they had simmi- ok that's bullshit, they're as different as day and night, but she's based on Jain Zar or whatever the name of the Banshee Phoenix Lord is, i'll upload her after i fix some issues with the texture, for some reason her hair glows like a damn rainbow when she moves.

    I managed to get your helmets in game.
    They can be used as wargear too, you just have to change the icon patch from :
    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Data\art\race_marine\troops_wargear\heads\force_commander
    to this:
    C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war 2\GameAssets\Data\art\race_marine\troops_wargear\heads\forec_commander

    It must have the same number of letters as the previous one.

    The helmets work like a charm.

    Banshee Exarch Update

    @Deus:

    Awesome, and i'm sure some of the future stuff i plan on doing for Chaos and the Marines will be of interest to you

    Probably not, there are some for the Marines but that's because they're simple. If no one wants to do portraits i may give it a shot at the very end, but considering that even Relic's portraits don't look like the units half of the time i don't think it's a high priority, for example, look at the Havoc's portrait that guy has a bullet belt on his chest in the portrait but that's not the case in-game.

    Anyway, the 'Shee Exarch is done, took a bit longer because i forgot to make her Campaign Helmet, thankfully that's pretty much just a case of coloring the texture. Anyway, i love making comparision shots so here we go:



    Comparison fromfor the Banshee Helmets, the Rank 0, 22 and 52 Exarch helmets and the 3 common Banshee helmets, and...

    Obviously, it's not team colorable, neither the 'shees or the Warp Spiders from the campaign are team colorable for obvious reasons. Anyway, you can get her here:
