After a two month break from the game I was able to play a couple games tonight.
This one is only against a lover tier lvl 10 player, but the game was pretty damn fun.
I went with my standard strat and was able to get an early map control. After fielding a couple of MGs and a sniper he was able to push back and gain map control. In response I used the rifles to harrass his fule and tried to sneak around his MGs.
Both players used a lot of mines to cripple the oposition.
Couple things to watch out for is the way an airborne dropped mortar helps me with dislodging the MGs and destroing the Medbunker.
Afterwards I was able to set up a very nice defensive line by the center VP and slowly pushed out.
Even though my Sherman micro was very rusty, in the end I was able to win the manpower war and the game.
I haven't checked the replay, but I'd venture that all the stormtroopers killed his pop cap, and were the reason for lack of Tiger.
