    Info Homeworld Modifications Master List

    This is the new thread for listing all work in progress and completed modifications.

    Mod leaders - For each mod, you get a single post in this thread, which should contain the mod name, version of the game it is for, the mod leader/s, and the status of the mod (in progress or completed). It should link to the Relicnews thread(s), and any external forums / websites if applicable. You may include a short paragraph about the mod (i.e major additions / goal of the mod) and up to 3 thumbnail images.

    This first post will then be updated with links to the RN thread and external websites, as well as your advertising post here in this thread. It is then up to the mod leaders to maintain their 1 post here to keep information correct and up to date.

    Any other posts will be deleted, and any mod posts not following the format simply won't be added, edited, or deleted at our discretion.

    Status:
    The mod is released as a public alpha via a SVN server. The download details are available on our ModDB profile.
    Still very much a work in progress, but pretty to look at at least.
    Currently, We're working on unit behaviour and getting the last models in game.

    Status

    alpha 0.0.1 DEMO - Ready! (only the simplest example of the gameplay) - Compatible with HW2 1.0 and above
    (An actual playable first mission in the Campaign will be released as cooperation, new collaborators, and my learning of HW2 modding progress.)

    As you guys may have guessed, I am a real fan of the GTX 460 EE (External Exhaust) Superclocked 1GB by EVGA.

    I recommend it to everybody who wants a great GPU, for a low budget.

    (Otherwise, just go with a GTX 480 Superclocked+ by EVGA...)

    Features:
    - Set in the Star Trek universe circa 2380
    - Three factions: UFP, Klingons, Romulans
    - Balancing completed completely by formula
    - Uses Cnl' Pepper's Shader 2
    - Release Gamma will have TMP ships (2290's)
    - Release Delta will have TOS ships (2250's)
    - Release Epsilon will have ENT ships (2160's)

    Tactical subsystems for you carrier.


    goals:
    --make combat with carriers more viable
    --do this through Subsystem upgrades to the carrier
    -- Battlecruisers may benefit later


    This is just starting out but on the way so no downloads yet.

    - Make ships be able to be controlled freely by players, they can do almost everything, flying, firing and shooting, launching missiles and torpedos, dropping mines ......in other words, this mod will make HOMEWORLD2 look like an RPG or FPS game rather than it's origin, RTS.

    - Additional game rules from Homeworld Classic and Gameplay Enhanced, including:
    - START WITH: HW2 Normal, Carrier Only, HW1 Map Default
    - RESOURCE INJECTIONS: Get extra RUs at the beginning of play and/or after time intervals.
    - BOUNTIES: Get money for killing enemy ships.
    - CRATES: Find the crate and get a random prize.
    - WIN CONDITION: Kill Player Production, Kill Team Production, Kill Mothership, Capture Capship, Quit Manually
    - DEFINED ROLES: Dedicated team members assume control of specific ship classes and roles, such as frigates, capital ships, fighters, etc.
