    1.0 Dont fight Alone 2 MOD!!!

    This mod is fairly simple. I make this game with more strategic value by making squads smaller with a larger squad cap & support.
    (FOR SS)
    As of now all races get
    100 Squad cap
    45 support cap
    (likely will change)
    Also bodies will stay on the battlefield for 16mins. including vehicles
    These are not like persistent bodies that lower the pixel count to keep up performance these bodies will have the same ( depending on your graphical settings) pixel count as they were alive as well as the effects. Units from different races will be slower for a little more realism and be cost effective.
    One thing U should know when playing this mod u may want to decrease your graphic settings the last battle i ahd with this mod there were 965 bodies including vehicles one the field most in one spot. My computer uses Nividia 9700 and it used 800mbs of graphic memory. I did have every thing as well as -forcehighpoly.
    Units will have a slightly range increase and a sight range increase for all races as well as some damage increases.
    Unfortunate due to my lack of knowing C++ and programing skills there is a bug i can not fix. the bodies keep the sight range.
    example: space marine has a 30 sight range, he dies and u can still see whats happening through his sight range.
    If there is anyone who can post how to fix this with step by step instructions it will greatly help this mod become greater then i hoped.
    Also, I wish i could say that i was adding new models but i dont have the skills or the money to do such a thing sorry.
    Please leave your full thinking of this mod. Any changes and ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Surely you can change that in Corsix. The modtools and lua editors are there for those sorts of things. Mind you, I might be wrong, I don't contribute to that side of modding that much.

    I agree with i thought about that fully about adding an object to make them path constructing. But if i do that the vehicles could stop players from being unable to move their army. Im in the process of getting Air transports that would transport troops and tanks(example - predators). I said at the beginning I do not have the money nor the skill to add effects beyond the explosion at death. Due to that this air transports will not be able to have the engine effects such as the tempest. also with this for some reason The thunder hawks fly side ways. I'm fiddling around to find the problem but as of now i have not found the reason. Worst comes to Worst i can not fix because, the problem was made in the model construction and coding and i have NO model coding exp at all and some one else will have to pick up my mod.
    As of right know the average range for infantry weapons such as the bolters and lasgun etc. is 30 - 34. Im still working the tau. This does not mean that the heavy bolters/snipers/plasmaguns etc. will be that range.
    I strive for balance above all in my mods. I will release the mod soon i hope.

    I have very little C++ knowledge this why i asked for an experienced Modder to post an script on this thread. and tell me where to post it. This is the biggest problem in my mod and believe me i want it fixed. I'm doing everything i can with all the resources i can to get it fixed.
    I am also gonna change the AI coding script. i believe this will make AI more challenging for players.
    Thanks or the opinions i will keep working to make this mod more balanced and take everyone's idea into account

    Oh one more thing I will be posting a link maybe next week to have the beta of my mod ( if everything goes on schedule) and give me feedback of how it is and what i need to change.

    I will say so far it is ahead of schedule i have the weapons done for the most part a few left out for finishing touches and now editing move speed,sight and for the bodies to stay on the ground expect a beta release July 15th. Delays may occur but they are not expected.

    i will being having vehicles remain in the ground and be path blocking. But i will release a separate mod for players who wish to play skirmish and such. AI units dont use transports. For that reason i will release a second mod ( same thing ) for online play.
    but only if i have to do im hoping to program the AI to use air transports.
