    [SS1.2] Creating mono without losing HQ

    Necron repeatedly creates monolith without losing an HQ, thus giving him 3 HQs and monolith HQ. This gives him 4 production buildings that produces more units than normally possible. Secondly, when the monolith dies, the HQ's hit points are unaffected like it normally should.

    At around the 19 minute mark necron creates his first monolith glitch, and I think he does this 5 times during the game. Does anyone know how he does this? I've had this bug occur to me once accidentally and I have no idea what caused it, so I don't think it's a hack.

    I've tried re-creating this glitch but unable to do so. Can anyone figure this out?

    Without having seen the replay, if there are multiple Monoliths on the field at the same time without any of the HQ Monoliths having transformed, it sounds very much like the Deceiver's Grand Illusion ability. I will have to watch the replay to verify this though.

    EDIT: having watched the replay, there was definitely something fishy going on as he not only did not spawn the Deceiver, he spawned the Nightbringer instead. In addition to that the Restored Monoliths just suddenly appeared on the ground.

    Yeah, it's definitely not the fake mono glitch. This player is able to summon a real mono without losing an HQ, every time.

    Is he able to build units from the restored Monolith? I watched about 40 minutes of the game, but I don't think he ever did that. Anyways, that guy sure loved to spam Summoning Cores.

    I watched one of the Restored Monoliths and units were definitely being built out of it.
