    I know you released loincloths and capes, but they don't seem to be animated. For example, the Chaplain's loincloth glitches out and turns into a white "V" instead of animating like the librarian's. Is there any way you could get the loincloths to animate correctly? Or perhaps I need to add something to make them look right in-game?

    I already told you the reason for that, if you're going to use the loincloth for the chaplain use the librarian animator.

    What happend with the Dire Avengers :[

    Captain Helmet for the Power armored FC
    Semi-works for me. Helmet is all blackish and the eyes are all purple boxish. Not sure why.

    because i use "abyss orange" as trim and accessories colors and it looks more silver than gold in game, i prefer to keep the original gold, just personnal preference

    The Chaos Lord termie helmet's texture seems twisted (those glowing eye-things behind his head). Maybe it's just me overreacting, but I think it looks awful.
    Can I humbly ask for a "normal" version of it? Without twisted-glowing-whatever thingies? ^_^

    Edit: Also, Captain Armor for the FC is not working at all. At least for me.

    I know what the problem is, fix incoming.

    As for the Captain armor, it replaces Gabriel's armor so unless you're rank 60, using a rank unlock mod or using it in the campaign you wont get it.

    i just managed to get it working in the the campaign. just wear armor of custodes .
    however no luck with the multiplayer. is there no other way besides rank 60?

    However this reminds me that i should write a tutorial on how to make your own rank unlock mod i'll write one today and you can use that to make it work for MP too, it's actually pretty simple.

    Undoubtedly the best model-work I've seen in the DoW community, and I say this in reference to many of the excellent models produced for the original DoW as well.

    A little personal request, just wondering if you think you'd want to do it...

    The regular Chaos Sorceror looks alright, but I definitely feel it would be greatly improved if we could get one with a helmet that resembles this iconic image:

    I would also like to report that though that though the regular elite helmet (see pics above) on the FC for me is not pink that now his elite terminator helmet is pink with the latest version.

    Now to answer some questions:

    @Heldentod:

    Not really, his armor, helmet, sword and some other crap is different, i do have plans to make him complete with new animations not only to make the emperor's champion but the company champion too, and i'll use some of those animations for the vanguard veterans too.

    @Caeltos:

    Dire Avengers are on hold, i want to devote the beta to... Well play the beta but also to make the Death Korps of Krieg without interruptions, i just did Terminator stuff now because it was something simple to do while the beta came out.

    @VT08:

    I do have plans for the Sorceror, including that helmet.

    Hey Shuma, could you make me a little thing ? I've just finished my Angry Dreadnought, but there is a little boring thing on his face. If you look well, you can see something just over his eyes which sticks out (the dreadnought's eyeshade). Could you remove it for me ? (it's not really important now, I've a lot of time for this, but since I'll release my texture for everyone, it could be usefull to make a complete pack with texture and model). I'm sure someone will use it ^^

    It definitively is, make sure you download the "new chaos lord" from the modder pack section and read the instructions on the post, he has been reorganized in such a way that will allow us to make stuff for him easier, not to mention make the new Chaos Terminators better.

    Colorable Great Unclean One? I think that would be definently nice to have since the only way to tell other GUOs apart is by a silly strand around his plague sword which is barely noticeable.

    No this is just a reskin, i have thought about making a team colorable GuO but i haven't figured how to do it, mainly because it'd look horrible in some colors, like red or yellow. Mind you the Great Unclean one for my mod will have a bit of armor on him which will be team colorable, just to diferentiate him from Ulkair, this reskin was just to make him look similar to Scabeiathrax who i think looks better, that and i always found that Ulkair looked too human with the color of his skin and his eye. Here's a screenie of Scabeiathrax just for reference:

    I was correct, Diomedes's head doesn't replace Vanilla Ice's head, it's a different model(uh oh, Vanilla ice is probably still lurking around in the campaign) so... I have a lot of work to do to get all those helmets fixed again, but they'll have to wait until the Death Korps are done, maybe i'll re-release the captain helmet just so that you can cover his babby mug for now. In other news.








    First day of the beta isn't over and the General already has a Cigar on his mouth, the hat is the hat from the DLC which for some reason Relic left in the files, i obviously cannot release this one to the public since Relic plans to sell the DLC in the future and thus it'd be illegal what i will do is give the General the commissar's hat and upload that one with the cigar. But for now, i need to sleep haven't slept in over 24 hours.

    Other stuff on the to-do list before the Death Korps is giving the freebooter hat to the Warboss in MP.

    The cigar's a really nice touch, Shuma! It works with the character really well. Kind of reminds me of the model for Creed, that way, which is fitting.

    Be neat to see what all you decide to do with the Guard.

    I'm actually hoping you'll improve the Lady Inquisitor some... while it's always nice to see more female units in the game, I really dislike the overtly sexualized slimline armor (not sure if I'm alone in this or what). I don't really know if it's intended to be carapace or power armor in the same vein as the Sisters of Battle, but either way it's too twiggy and dark (and non team-colourable at that!), almost so that it seems to be utterly lacking in detail or personality.

    Personally, I'd like to suggest in the vein of this Age of Reckoning "Epic Witch Hunter" concept art (though more feminine of course) http://mythicmktg.fileburst.com/war/..._Male_Epic.jpg

    or 40k's own Inquisitor Gideon Lorr (my personal favorite Inquisitor model), who seems to have the same tailor: http://www.coolminiornot.com/pics/pi...9fbc994eef.jpg

    ... essentially combining more clothing with the armor to give the overall look some much-needed "oomph". Now I realize the first one linked there for Warhammer Fantasy and all, but a number of the Inquisitors in 40k do have that kind of 17th century Witch Trials look to them anyway. Despite that, even if you decide to instead do something else entirely, if anyone could figure out a way to make the new Inquisitor look more interesting, I'm certain it'd be you.

    I know you still have the Kriegers to do (and honestly, I'm reeeally looking forward to those, more than anything else! Coolest looking Imperial Guard by far) but I still thought I'd throw this out there, since I feel so much more could've been done the Inquisitor... and was ignored in favor of artless sex appeal.

    Now I want to see some Kasrkin instead of the ugly Inquisitor Stormtroopers. I cried when I saw it wasnt the original Kasrkin models... ='( Maybe you could swap the models? ^^

    And might I be a little selfish and ask for a helmet for the Lord general in the future? -hehe- Its because my TableTop IG commander have a full helmet, well, my whole army have the Full Helmet-theme (except Ogryns/ratlings, who only use masks).
    And by "full helmet" I mean helmets like the Kasrkin have, except the targeter on the side.

    Anyways, If you might be able to replace the stormtrooper models I would be forever greatfull. ^^

    Well actually, Shuma, I meant you could use a similar outfit on the female Inquisitor, not give her a full sex change. ;p

    Personally I don't think it'd be too "out there" for the armor to be more unisex. Consider how well it works for the female Farseer... or Samus Aran... or for this woman in armor.

    After all, the prime reason that Sisters of Battle wear such form-fitting and feminine-looking armor is because it's a matter of symbolism. An Inquisitor on the other hand would be able to dress however she pleases.

    Bulkier clothing and armor wouldn't look more feminine (ie, a female Guardsman in standard gear would probably be very difficult to tell apart from a male Guardsman without hearing her voice or studying her body language intently), though I'm not necessarily advocating making her appear more masculine -- 40k isn't about realism as anyone could point out, and I'm not attempting to advocate it, so much as suggest options. I definitely think that Gideon Lorr's outfit could be made to fit a curvier, womanly form, even though I might not personally see it as necessary.

    Mainly I'm just interested in seeing a lady Inquisitor that looks the part of an intimidating commander, and not a latex-wearing, whip-carrying dominatrix (albeit with a spiffy hat).

    Nice models, Damien! I like your theme. I'm fond of blue armor on dark colors myself, and I do wonder why more commanders in 40k don't bother with wearing helmets into battle! It's what attracted me to this mod at least, heh.

    Actually even if you decide not to make some full helmet options for the Imperial Guard commanders, Shuma, I'd like to suggest some rebreathers as options, since it'd probably make sense to wear something like that on a hostile alien world that might make breathing a little difficult.

    Hah, i know it's just me who'd like to give the sex change, not that i have anything against her but she loses when compared to the Witch Hunters from WAR, i'll see what to do with the Inquisitor when i do the Death Korps, not that she's going to get a death korp model but just a different style to make her stand out when compared to Adrastia, and yeah i'll do something for the Cadians too. DEFINITIVELY will change their faces or heads, at the very least i'll swap them with the ones from CR because holy shit are they bad, their faces are pretty much flat and all the detail is on the texture, they look like shit.

    The primary reason that sergeants/commanders do not wear helmets on Table Top is to distinguish them from the other models in colour schemes that allow them to blend in too easily, unlike the Ultrasmur... *ah-hm* ...marines. Reality would, otherwise, have them wear their helmets where ever necessary.
