    I saw some similar project a while again, about sicilia, but it was cancelt. It would be interessting to see the italian army in CoH, but the rub is, that the italian army was such a big failure. The moral was low, the weapons were crap and most of their soldiers couldn't even read.

    But your 3D and 2D work looks realy good.

    This mod adds Italy and France, awesome and both nations while not having the best reputation still participated and did accomplish some things (regardless if they pale in comparison to some of the larger nations)

    What I dont understand is this: you have working models and good ones of those. Obviously your mod is stuck and there is no development to speak of. Why not release the models you have publicly?
    You worked up the hype and worked up people's expectations and now they get nothing just a few eyecandy 'look what I have got but you aint having any of this'.
    The mod -if you will ever complete it - will come whenever. But the working vehicles...
    Please release those to the public who were eagerly awating those.

    I have been animating his models, and Chopin is going to help texture them. JayDilla was generous enough to offer the Italian vehicles to the public as well as for his mod. However, I believe he has been busy with real life things lately. Patience, my friend.

    guys the problem is always the same....i don't have much people in my team....i can't work alone;

    eliwood is the best modder i meet in this year, he help me with animation of any of my tanks, and i accept his request for make my vehicles "PUBLIC".

    if u want help me for this mod i waiting all of you!

    Then let me explain something to you: Voluntary base does not work.
    If you start a new team, try to do that on a comercial contract base. If people realy want to support you, iam sure they would donate you some money to hire maybee someone for specific work.
    If not, typical cyper-communism goes on. People just talk nice, cheerleading, but will not help you and hope to get something for free. Thats why there is never a lack on Betha testers.

    So, i could help you with Infantry Textures. I'am also very bussy in real life, but i understand your situation becaus i know that by my own. But just INF.Textures, because i'am more experienced with cloath textures.

    Yes it does; the point is; you need to create a team that will be active and who you actually know that they will put effort in it to get their job done. "Sure I'll help you" isn't enough for someone to apply to your team; he has to commit to the mod; really being an developer instead of just taking the credits for stuff he isn't actually taking part of.

    @ Dosenmais, I'm actually signing on to do infantry textures for this mod, and I'll probably be trying to alter some infantry models as well. I'll be doing that later, of course, but I'll still be trying to do it.

    I don't give a saw about credits because in my opinion it just an ego thing, especialy in the programmer community, where many people are very intent on their virutal work because most time they don't have anything else in their life.(Sometimes they even call their lawyers and wasting money just because of things they can't even touch). Credits for who? A Nickname. Thats silly..
    I offert some help with one thing because hes making this emergency call, nothing even said about Team or credits. If offering help isn't enough for Mr.Boss, then he should screw himself because we are all busy people.
    But tell me. Why do you make these conditions for his term?

    Thank you, Dosenmais, for the offer, but I've received source imagery from JayDilla already. You could contact him and ask him if he would like to use the images you can provide. I, on the other hand, am merely a humble (yeah right) functionary in this mod. It is not my duty to make design decisions, but rather to follow the order I am given.

    Putting that issue aside and moving onward, credits are more of a way to nail someone's trousers to the mast. That way if they abandon ship, there's still a way to tell that they were there (especially if they ran off with something important). It also ensures that their role in the production team is known for new members and for those who want to contact individuals to provide services for them. If you want someone to write a pioneering piece of code for you, you want to ask someone who has been credited for excellent code work. Hence the need for formality and credits.

    I don't think it's even allowed to ask money for mods for CoH in the first place. IIRC they were supposed to be non-commercial, or non-profit. I think it's allowed to have expensives covered such as organizing a tournament with a money prize, but not to earn money from it.

    Its not allowed to sell the mod or demand money for it, but its allowed to ask for donation. And i also think, if someone does good work, he should get some money for his time and work.
    It would be much easier for us all to support such projects with money or hire some employes for projects if the gov. wouldn't tax everyone of us, but thats another story.

    It's an infantry support gun and anti-tank gun. If you got a general idea of what different artillery gun types do, this should answer your question.

    I get it's use as a tactical squad-based direct-fire weapon against AFVs but I don't get it being useful against machinegun nests, pillboxes, trenches and such, mainly because:
    A. AFAIK they had plentiful access to 45 and 81mm mortars and
    B. Since the cannon cannot be too short to be effective against tanks, the HE filling of the 47mm shell must have been minimal, resulting in a poor casualty radius.

    That 47mm infantry gun was actually pretty decent at attacking MG nests, sandbagged emplacements and dug in troops - certainly better than the 3.7cm PaK 36.

    Just because they were designed and designated as such does not mean they were not used in other roles.

    The gun could fire both armor piercing and high explosive projectiles, the latter having a range of 7,000 meters to provide the gun with a useful infantry support role. As the armor thickness of tanks increased, the Böhler increasingly assumed this infantry support role.

    Technically, I'm the one who has been charged with accomplishing this, and I'll be able to do so soon, but I'm still learning the ropes of modeling and animating. However, I'm learning them much more quickly now. Also, you should note that I'm working on my own mod as well. That said, once I've gotten my next update out, some Italian stuff like infantry should start appearing.

    If you can't get team members for this then what makes you think you'll get any more for a brand new mod?

    And I'd hate to see you just quit - seems like a waste of your talents and good models to have them both just disappear.

    I can't speak for the Afrika team but perhaps you and your mod can be combined with that, since Italians were there.

    i wanna create a real team...wanna help me, isn't a quit only a remake of all works but with serius team...
