    I was doing a little experiment involving spamming as much conscripts as possible and found that using the following game rules caused the maximum population cap to vary between 54 (54, right?) and 100, at a pattern I couldn't determine.
    This are the rules I used:
    AI Properties
    AI Dummies
    Annihilate
    Apocalypse
    Game Timer
    Heroes
    Massive Battles
    Extreme Battles

    Honestly I'm curious mostly to what determines when the max cap is more or less, since I've seen this "bug thing" in many, many previous versions of UA (272 population cap ftw!).

    Try using only Extreme Battles since it has a larger cap than Massive Battles if i'm not mistaken.

    I mentioned the problem of AI Properties several months ago
    I made numerous games with the Imperial Guard as an ally in 1024*1024 and 512*512 maps
    with the rules Annhilate and Game Timer and I've cheked every time that IG AI Ally build only
    the basic leman russ tank, but they build Super Heavy Tank and use Airstrike.
    Then I suppose that IG AI insist on Infantery Doctrine.

    I hope to be useful.

    There is nothing wrong with AI properties, there is something wrong with the addons the AI tries to build or take perception of in tier I, hence the addon they look for "superweapon addon" is not available yet; no tier II and the ai shuts down and literally f*cks over my mod ai gameplay and pees on it.

    @Psyko: Your game conditions, Massive Battles + Extreme Battles combined makes your cap expand to high rates the more you pile on.

    - Bug fixes.
    - Balance changes.

    Global changes:
    * Warhound Titan weapon damages rebalanced.

    Chaos:
    * Chaos Havoc Autocannons no longer fires on the move.
    * Marines Plasma Guns weakened to the base damage of loyal Space Marines.

    Dark Eldar:
    * Scourgers ranged damage for non Dark Lance weapons decreased.
    * Reaver Jetbike weapon damage decreased.
    * Shadow Super-heavy and Dais effectiveness against titans increased.
    * Dais Dark Lance damage increased.

    Eldar:
    * Prism Cannon effectiveness against structures and titans increased.
    * Twin Pulsars effectiveness against titans and superstructures increased.
    * Wraithcannons effectiveness against Living Metal, titans, and superstructures increased.

    Imperial Guard:
    * Shadowsword voice added.
    * Shadowsword ability now costs 500/500 req/power.

    Necrons:
    * Solar Pulse no longer requires the Ctan Gods research.
    * Necron Lord can no longer be produced over and over while the Deceiver remains alive.
    * Immortal Gauss Blaster overall damage decreased.
    * Necron Warriors are produced slightly slower.
    * Builder Scarabs are built slightly slower.
    * One new artifact added, the Shroud of Antigravity is back.

    Orks:
    * Kustim Stompa imbaness of Apocalyptic doom fixed.

    Sisters:
    * The Arch Angel is now less powerful than she was. Making her now not unstoppable.

    Space Marines:
    * Vanguard Veteran squad attack range reduced from 60 to 35.

    Tau:
    * Stealth Suit burst cannons and Fusion Blaster overall damaged research modifiers reduced.

    IDH:
    * Grey Knight Champion no longer has a pink icon. No seriously they don't.
    * Bugged Plasma Cannon for Dreadnoughts removed.

    Tyranids:
    * Carnifexes can now truly upgrade. No seriously.
    * Ravener melee damage and health decreased.

    Known Issues:
    - Eldar AI is bugged still.
    - IDH ai is bugged still.
    - IG ai on a 1024x1024 map does not tier up to tier II.
    - Tyranids ai at the end of tier IV still does nothing.
    - I cannot fix these problems yet, I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

    otherwise on the to-do list:
    >= 1.62.62 patch will contain some ai fixes, wargear revamped with cost implemented and time reduced, IDH Justicar pink hammer fixed, DP mod property (once permission asked), Renegade Militia, Bombsquigs, new Terminators, the Lord of Change, the Keeper of Secrets, Tyranid Hierophant, and some new Alpha mod material.
    All of this will be coming soon to upcoming future patches.

    An idea (Probably you would have already thougt on it..):

    If the problem for IG race is that it has too many addons and bring the AI to crash You could split that race in separated race IG= Armore Company and Siege Battallion.

    Do you think to introduce also Renegade in UA ?

    The majority of the Ultimate Apocalypse "players" recommends balance instead. However, there are always the alternatives to solve the utmost basic solutions of balance and epic gameplay combined.

    I completely forgot to post this on RelicNews...

    Update from 4/26/12

    Opinions are needed for the upcoming stages of 1.62.62. Any last suggestions, additions, bug fixes... please be quick, the final stages are in and will be out maybe next week. What the changes include currently?

    - Three new units added in mod.
    - Some balance changes.
    - All commander wargear revamped to better play style.
    - New wincondition added, (restrict air units)
    - Some winconditions that causes scar errors in the beginning are stripped and cleaned.
    - New maps!
    - I hopefully might finish the total revamp of the Chaos Overlord. Depending if I get new icons in time.- Sneak peak movie of the Grand Release. (Maybe, maybe not, convince me.)

    So please do read this and make your final wants/needs please for 1.62.62!Also, in other news, we have a texturer for the Warlord Titan! Yay! That is all.

    Excellent! Great! Thanks everybody for your feedback, ideas, criticism, and wants/needs. I certainly think that all of your lists (except for selected couple) could very well be implemented in 1.62.62. Some already are.

    So yes, many-many DP mod stuff. It will be done! Permission first, then DP additions next. I'll be avoiding the illegal content entirely.

    Welcome new member SoulsForSlaanesh! Thanks for following the mod for quite a while now.

    On a side note, please do pardon my absence in not responding to your questions directly. I usually do this later for when I'm all done releasing the next patch. Busy-busy, lots of bugs to catch up on.

    Release should definitely be done less than next week.

    Any last requests to be added in for 1.62.62 must be done so before May 1st 2012 so my scheduled release is not delayed. You have been warned!

    Please !!!! (Crying.Smily) Add Grot Tank, Advenced Cannon Banner, Grot support weapon for Orks, and Orka deep strike turret (forgeworld style) for tau.

    Those all are assetts from ZanyReaper TTrup mod, then he released his stuff I think that they would be implemented in a easy way.

    Maybe I am the only fan of grots tank but they are moral winner of Warhammer 40k (Think on live a life near an Ork and be 40cmm tall ...)

    I really love this mod but one of the (few) things that I don't like of DOW are icons (expecially for Space marine units and buildings). Most of them are in low-res and (IMHO) their quality have a huge impact on DOW graphic: they are in close-up during the playing, so it is a pity see beatiful 3d models represented by poor icons!

    Actually... I do have a request for 1.62.62:

    As you have probably guessed, I'm a big fan of all things orky. I would like to see PoK shoota, nobs and sluggas "upgraded" models (the vanilla ones start to sore my eyes) and a 2 different types of warboss (like the space marine commanders, if you pick one, you lose the chance to use the other) one would be the armorless warboss and the other one, the Gorgutz we all love and know.

    Also, any chance that Dark Prophecy mod's Weirdboy is getting in UA?

    Another two things you can implement easily are Lesser Gnarlock rider an Mounted Greater Gnarlok of tau respectively FoC or TWm for the first ant even TTRup for second.

    And Swooping Hooks for Eldar (TW or CW) and medusa for ig (FoC)

    ... .. And even (!!!) AirStrike with Vultures for Ig (FoC) ...

    It would be really great ... And I subscribe request of Green Tide ...

    No, I think next is a patch...

    Grand Release should be this August.

    A suggestion for future release (not next) would be to introduce some upgrade in low tier unit that save them from obsolescence when titan are deployed.

    Something like special abilities or feature for sergent-exarch-ecc... For example at last tier lower IG can spawn standard bearer that inspire guardsman to be a better wall of men.

    But maybe this is too complicated in terms of balance...

    Can't wait for next patch ... )))

    A suggestion for future release.. Would it be possible to change the sister of battle models with the ones from witch hunters mod?

    If we cant because of the permission etc from the developers.. could we make an installer to install the witch hunters mod separately but just replace the SOB models.. kinda like the middle man between UA and WH...

    Yes the air strike with Vultures is in FoK for DC since release 3.1

    in last release it was a special ability for Vanquisher command tank.

    In release 3.1 it was for the commander and had a long long range that was superb in terms of gameplay (for me) even when for the enemies.

    The model was really well maid and the way that Vulture attak like Air Strike is far better than the flying units.

    But please do not forgot about Grots tanks and cannon banner !!!!! AaaAAaaargggGhhH sig sob bih buh boh := := :=

    Tzeench, click the turn-everything-into-a pool-of-rainbow-flesh (that's gay, indeed !)
    Slaanesh, click the make-every-creature-fuck-the -nearest-unit-to the death- button to win the game (imo : the giant copulation synckill should raise all community modellers;..interest )
