    Somehow your new weapons are absent from 1.62.62. Check to see if these weapons are valid in your BETA_Apocalypse/data/attrib/weapon folder. If they are present, check to see if your files are = 0-9 bytes (0kb). Otherwise this is just a stupid installation problem that occures 5% of the people.

    And not only that, but in the form of a patch you simply extract on your Soulstorm directory and click "replace all".

    What kinda bothers me is this part of your warnings.log:
    Fatal Data Error for entity 'data:attrib\ebps\races\orks\structures\ork_boy_hut.rgd
    Why a ':' between data and attrib? Maybe that's what causing the error? Maybe that's how DoW actually is and I'm just too ignorant about its inner workings?

    P.S.: The bit of data "ork_squad_bombsquigs" that the log complains about is actually inside ork_boy_hut.rgd (which is the file in the patch I uploaded for you). Hence it won't show up as a separate file.

    Cyclarne could you tell me what the problem is if when I'm using this mod with a friend on LAN via hamachi, (we're both in China so use pirated versions :3, they're are both downloaded from the same pirate place, and had the same things done to them to unlock all races. When we play on the normal DOW, nothing happens and everything is fine till we get ownt by insane bots. But in UA, if I host the server, my friend sync errors after about 30-40 minutes in the game. Could you tell me what you think the problem is, and tell me if there is anything I or he can do to fix it. Thx

    @kinggool2: Man, pirated DOW versions are NOT endorsed by anyone... Plus, now the game is REALLY cheap to purchase
    In any case, Sync errors can be caused by many things...
    Your PC configs, your internet connection quality and (of course), possible MOD issues and file mismatches....
    Do you have IDENTICAL copies of the game? What races do you play? Is the 30-40 minutes limit the time when a SPECIFIC thing (like a research, a unit, etc.) show up on the game?
    Edit: Winconditions are also sometimes "responsible" for Sync Errors (especially those that employ heavy SCAR). So, what winconditions you used?

    In any case, I do not think that your errors are addressed to the (pirated) game itself...

    Reporting a bug. You guys probably already know, but I couldn't find anyone reporting it. Dark Eldar can use their superweapon under these conditions in Valley of Khorne.

    I think that conscript guardsmen would be slightly better portrayed if you used the basic guardsman model from dow with a white stripe on the helm, cause they look more conscripty but thats my opinion

    Kind of depends actually. What if it's an IG regiment on a mission to take over a hostile world? Not much of a defense going on there, more like an invasion. Then again, I have read next to nothing (aside from assorted articles on the Lexicanum) on actual W40k fluff.

    No your right Psyko, when assaulting a hostile planet without an Imperial Garrison they're just plain conscripts drafted from any nearby world, handed some flak and a lasrifle (normally, sometimes if they have some form of training or are ex gangers maybe a grenade launcher or flamer), and thrown at the enemy while the real guardsmen follow up with the proper training. If they're assaulting an already Imperial Held world you've got both PDF forces (known as the Retard Guard to most of the IG since..well they're inept as they get) and if a commander chooses conscripts from the local populace. So really keeping conscripts named conscripts seems right to me.
    There's three types of folks in this world, those who serve the Emperor willingly, those who serve the Emperor unknowingly, and those who stand in the way of the Emperor's armies..you better hope your the first two.

    Well, I'm not Cylarne, but as part of the ALPHA team I can tell you that the Kaurava campaign will be back (and not bugged) in the Grand Release.

    I could tell you though, about some unreleased features, like the always awesome SCAR-based *censored* *censored*, or the simply outstanding implementation of a *censored* *censored*, or maybe the *censored* *censored*... or just let you assimilate the sheer amount of EPIC that the Grand Release has in general.

    P.S.: Every "*censored* *censored*" replaces an actual pair of words, which name 100% NEW! features in the Grand Release.
    By Cylarne's order I can't tell you much more than what I already did :S
    I do can tell you that I've seen the work-in-progress Grand Release and... By the Emperor, the Omnissiah and everything that is holy! It is worth the wait!

    @ Cylarne: Great news! By the time you read this I'll most likely have finished my boring-ass studies and be 100% free for playtesting stuff :3 ...except I have not and I'll quite likely be busy until Monday

    Religion 1.62.63 Release Is Ready


    SURPRISE!!! Ultimate Apocalypse - 1.62.63 Vote!
    Polls now closed, two new units will be in game!

    Thanks to two donators, the Ultimate Apocalypse 1.62.63 patch is all done and ready for release! Today was also Codex mod's release which I completely forgot about, but so I decided to spice up the pot a bit with a series of choices to include in the 1.62.63 patch by public votes! So the patch is not coming today, but it is ALL DONE and ready for public choosing!

    Today, as the release is almost underway, I thought to include one more thing in the patch, a super secret new unit + the choice of...

    - TWO new Apocalyptic maps.

    - A new unit from our side.

    - 2 new gameplay features from the Grand Release.

    - Or finally a sneak peek movie of the Grand Release being shown in the Miscellaneous folder of your download.

    Yeah you heard right folks, we are now recruiting testers to test our private Alpha mod! There is the difference compared to the Public Mods, and the golden Grand Release. What difference?



    So would you like to play with all of this new stuff? Contact the Mod Team testing advisor and organizer, Gambit on either MOD DB or RelicNews. There's more...

    As most of you will already know, there is a private version of the Ultimate Apocalypse in the works - the Alpha mod project. That being said, this version includes content that far exceeds what most of us would expect.
    And this HUGE endeavour needs HEAVY and SERIOUS testing - it is a task that requires a concrete TEAM of testers...

    What it takes to apply for a playtester:
    The task of playtesting UA is something that you should NOT tread lightly. While exciting, it is also taxing to playtest UA - especially the Grand Release. And at the current state of mod maturity, we require only good testers. Thus, you will definitely need:
    1] Drive, Dignity and Discretion (the three Ds).
    2] Skill. At his point, inadequate skill will stall (instead of accelerating) the project development, resulting in delaying its release.
    3] Lots of Free Time. There are MANY things that require careful testing.

    All community brothers out there, who consider yourselves worthy AND willing to HONESTLY assist our goal, please, do apply!

    What you must do:
    1] Playtest the current public version (1.62.62) and prepare a bugs list. The "optimum playtesting performance" would be to test every single race... In any case, the lengthier the bug list, the better chances to become a fellow playtester!!!
    2] PM the buglist to me directly (Cylarne is TOO preoccupied performing his coding magic - so I will be at your service for the time being!)
    3] Wait to be PMed back!!! (We have a testing chart to grade playtesters, so if your buglist is adequate... WELCOME TO THE TEAM!!!)

    Last but NOT least
    We respect the community and we want to provide a quality mod, brothers. This is our sincere intention. We would be happy if we all share the same intention! Guys, I have two more things to point out....

    -It would be great if you use Point Form for the buglist!
    -Adequate use of the English language, is DEFINITELY a welcomed trait!

    To spice up the pot and make new units sound less interesting, for a chance for other votes to get in bumping heads, the new unit is not going to be a titan, nor Deathmarks. However, not to change anyone's minds... just for those who thought that Deathmarks were it, they're not, keep voting!

    Yup "pole" closed! TWO new units will now be in the 1.62.63 patch with a voting count of 49(units) -21(gameplay features) - 8(GR sneak peak) - 6(maps). Thanks!

    I just have to add the new unit in game and I'm ready to ship 1.62.63. Overall I'm just glad that there are still people who play the patches and are waiting very patiently for the GR, but hopefully the wait will be worth it.
