you might want to look at some of the sins of a solar empire mods they have good textures although dont know if they can help though to
to bad there isnt a scanning device that allows models to be scanned and put into programs with the textures on them would be helpful

Is it the same, but just improved speed?
Testseekers@ I am not really any proffessional beta tester, so i am probably not the right for the job, also I have no idea how people do it, I just play the game for fun and stumble upon weird stuff by coincidece sometimes, and I am just interested in reporting when i find something worthwhile, so the bug smashing can be done faster, and in return I can better enjoy the fully apocalypse experience![]()

Hello guys, I have a little problem...
Sorry if I'm not posting in right place, i tried looking around, but it's kinda tough to read through 80 pages of thread :P Anyhow, I have a little bug. It was happening with 1.62.535, and since the build was weirdish, I though it was just the build, so I updated with .542, but alas it wasn't fixed! I can't seem to build the DE Dais of destruction... it doesn't unlock after researching the donate 250 soul upgrade. Also, I have name disruption on the DE super weapon and last soul cage upgrade. It displays no range with a gagillion weird chars...
Now, I saw the post with the locale, and I tried it, but it didn't work either (anyways I'm playing with a standard English version of the game, so I shouldn't have any troubles with that...)
So yeah... Awesome mod!!

Suggestion if I may:
the sisters didn't really get any significant changes compared to most races that had complete face lifts, so I was wondering if any were coming along.
Keep up the awesomeness in your work, it really makes for great gameplay!
@ Grim Phantom: Firstly, welcome to the forums! And yeah, this mod is uber epic awesome.
If my memories aren't tricking me on this one, the Dais of Destruction also requires a captured relic, along with (possibly, I haven't played as DE for a while) other stuff I don't remember.
The "no range" errors are references to nonexistent entries on the mod's files. I haven't looked much at the tooltips lately so I can't confirm that until I play again.
Also, I think Cylarne announced a "Sisters Booster pack" for a before the grand 2012 release (but I may be wrong).
And, in case you didn't see it on the thread, there's a massively-beyond-description-epic release planned for 2012. It should include... well, everything all of us here dream of and more.

@ Grim Phantom: Mhhh, mostly odd. The only thing I can think of is that you had enabled a wincondition that stops you from getting the Dais (such as "restrict relic units"). The other possibility is that your UA installation is somehow bugged, in that case you'll need to reinstall UA (fortunately your profile configuration and personalizations isn't lost with this). If reinstalling doesn't work, redownload and install and if that doesn't work... dunno, your PC may be warped of something.
On a side note, I got a working motherboard and will be fully DoW capable within a few hours! Yay!![]()

guys guys,alright,i was absent from this mod but now that im back,again,i saw a sneak peak on demon race and this flamer screenshot and i was like "BY THE GODS?!!".You really did the good job on those demons and i cant wait to test them.Keep up the good work and ill continue to play this mod.

@ Chaosbringer: Bomb Squigs are available in Corncobman's fun mod if I read its thread correctly. Traitor Guardsmen and chaosy IG vehicles are now available in DoC and (was told so, didn't confirm it personally) PoK.

Can you give us a mini-patch with nerfed dark eldar? bikes and fast talos are game breaker..tremendously overpowered...I like to use them, but not like this(you could balance that by making their late game stronger, as suggested by hanov)

Is it possible to put things like 2x squad health or 1.5 times vehicle cost in the win conditions list? Just like in the CornCobMod? I really like this mod but I think all infantry and especially the hero's need to have more health. I tried to put the winconditions from the CornCobMod into the apocalypse map but it gives me Fatal Scar errors. Is there a way to do it myself maybe? Or can you put it in the next release?

My win conditions use files which list the various units to apply the modifiers.
The Apocalypse mod units, weapons, researches, etc. need to be added to those lists in order for the win conditions to work properly with the Apocalypse mod.

Eh... apologize but...? In general if you tweak the ai, the ai shouldn't be more dumb. If you make mistakes in some places then you would add dumb stuff to the ai. Did I get your question right?Cylarne@ Haha thank you, nice to hear that the bug has been fixed already

Seconded. Another nice addition would be Objective_Points_SS, which fixes SoB and DE white flags on their captured posts (the banner's properly shown). I've noticed that it also adds a... "nid thing" on Tyranid posts, which makes for more alien-ness.Originally Posted by .:Zack Fair:.

another thing.is team morking on all UA versions,like UA Actual,XP1,XP2 andXXP1?cause i saw changes only on xp2,yet there are still some fixes out there.
Like,there is always an empty cube near hero icons.When i press it,Fatal Scar error.Same thing when i start some maps in XP2 and XXP1.Some units take time to create even if i have Apocalypse win condition,like Heretic and
brass scorpion.Speaking of BS,he cant be created if i research Mark of Tzeentch on other versions,only on XP2 can he be created.That Sucks.I dunno what else needs fixing.
I would like to point out that Autarch is really weak compared to what he should be (and his cost)
to bad soulstorm doesn't allow eldar to dodge bullets while fighting then they would be like they are supposed to be ^^
Yeah, that's also something, but there is accuracy, thus bullets which don't have a certainty of hitting can miss the target. I don't know if it is possible though if it can be done that the accuracy of certain weapons is lower against Eldar than normal. Would allow us to add another layer of depth to the combat system, which would be awesome.![]()
Is it me, or the project is somewhat slowed down? I do not see the interest (post-wise) that this thread had, say one month ago. Cylarne, Hanov, and the rest of the team, are you still with us?
