    Tau Step II - The XV-9 "HAZARD" Close Support Suit is arriving slowly!

    As i know that many of you wanted it but nobody yet modelled it i decided to bring the motors of creation in motion and do some modelling job! Thus today i want to further let you be a part of the actual modelling process and show you the fruits of my today work on the XV-9 "HAZARD" Suit which will be included within the next release of the Ultimate Apocalypse Mod very likely.

    @ KIN0025: As i know Cylarnes attitude towards soulstorm aircraft it won't be very likely to see ANY new kind of aircraft bro especially of such a size. But i think it's very likely to see Thunderhawks and stuff in the future as deepstrike animations but not as independant unit because aircrafts are really glitched in Soulstorm because of the crappy implementation (Stuck in terrain, moving not smooth, aircraft are basically all gliders not "flyers") from Iron Lore.

    @ Dante551: I heard you're starting with modelling eh? Did you already made some models and if yes may i see it (No matter how crappy you think it looks like ;-P).

    Correction, I do want the Orca, Valkyrie, Thunderhawk. If you used the Valkyrie aircraft like in Corncobman's mod (even though terribly unanimated); that's what I wish to be using.

    I agree with demetrius, we NEED more units for Daemonhunters. I'll check up if it is allowed. Like Thudmeizer! Or maybe even that other dude who starts with an m on the forums?

    there is something I miss from previous patch and want it return.

    the power to select both Pylon and doomsday phalanx without restriction of chose only one of them......make them more price like 5000 energy each one of them and 1200 the
    reinforce of the siege monolith for balance.

    And for the aeonic orb ...remove it from the commanders icons ,It mean 100 % win if it appear so I prefer the Pylon and the doomsday there ...

    And for the aeonic orb .....I ALMOST DEFEAT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Don't ask I am too traumatized to explain and without proof to show because I exit the game before save the replay T^T ""I realize this until too late"")
    That thing was in the last 2000 Hp and about to have an annihilator at point range ( I use necrons) when the blasted thing teleport T^T

    So Im thinking this Make it more priced like 15000 or 20000 energy...and with this mod..for balance

    40000 or 50000 Hp and cut the regeneration to 50% ...and modify to 5 cap infantry with 10 caps vehicle...when you use small army condition it eat all the cap...

    Only that lords of apocalypse .....

    Oh and I read something about the nothing impossible in the power of the code...
    There is something.
    I wonder if the code will make access to the ability of capture buildings.

    Ability to capture enemy building?That insane!If you captured enemy HQ,you have second race to build and get their titans as well so that not gonna work.Besides what races should get that ability or all?Is not balance if only one race have it and chaos if any race has it so forget about it and I belive all my big brothers will say exactly what I say.

    Hey guys,

    first of all this mod is awesome. Me and a couple of friends really love to play it!

    But i have a small question for which i can't seem to find an answer in this thread. About the Sororitas and their big nuke (can't remember what it's called at the moment). We just can't seem to use it. From what i can see in the details faith is not needed for it but something else with a red icon (as far as i can remember similar to dark eldar). Is it just a bug that the Soroitas can't use their superweapon?

    i was playing with the infantry only win condition on and........i ended up getting raped by 2 baneblades and 2 stormblades.........you cant explain that

    that is why asked for them to change it you can still get the super-heavies and infantry don't stand a chance against them

    @demetrius: Just wondering, since that model has struck me by its roundness of parts, how many polies big is it in its WIP state, how many polies big do you intend the final model to be and more importantly, is that a hi-poly model you intend to use to bake textures or do you intend to put that in game?

    It is possible, and I do wonder if I could use it for post 1.62.5. But there will be ai problems as the code is somewhat unknown ai wise or it was never at all bothered with. So that sucks for me.

    @Setsuna: I do see your point in capturing buildings but it is worth a shot don't you think?

    You DO realize that there is a restrict relic win condition right? The relic units and titans are included in the Infantry Only win condition yes, but if they were to be restricted, that would limit the combinations of win rules + if I restrict Land Raiders and Baneblades, that would make a tremendous "OH FU**!" when Bloodthirsters and Avatars come along.

    O.K I understand keep the orb there...but At least the modification for the Orb like More Hp like 40000 and regeneration cut to the 50 % ,with the cost of 16000...I like the spend a lot of energy.

    One more thing...Can you expand the ability to possess enemy vehicle more wide,because I do this...hoping not removed please...It fun...

    This ability allowed me to take control of the Eldar superscorpion is it considered a titans isn't, The imperial storm blade too yay!
    and is funny to have 5 Eldar superscorpion (4 with the possessed scarab and one with the lord destroyer) to lay a mess..lol will you expand more vehicle possession I want more...

    Because this is when it came the idea of capture building ..if I can't capture building and you are right because necron only use energy and the rest demand requisition i don't have....the possession of titans machines is a godsend...

    And I was thinking an idea too...to have the forbidden archive more important.
    I remember in previous mod the wargear was buy from the commander in an added button to display a menu of selection.
    Can you do the same for this....the ability to purchase more artifact like all or 6 from the forbidden archive for the lord , make them more price the artifact if balance is mandatory.
    and for have the archive more role...you can use the artifacts only when the archive is present if is destroyed the artifact you purchase are disable until you build another one...

    And before I forget....one topic..."The Stasis field ability"

    Don't worry I will not ask that ability in the lord destroyer because it has the pillar of darkness...so please say yes to the idea ...

    @Setsuna: i think you're mixing games and therefore IPs with that Leviathan Mortis from Dreamforge games. In short, including another IP's asset in a GW-IP game is a no-no.
    Master Necro: not a SW titan, (SM don't have titans per se), only a Titanicus Warhound (scratchbuilt).

    it isnt smoothed,only exaust system is smoothed,when the model is finished i will proceed to cosmocrat to animate and texture if he wont ofcourse,and cylarne to import it in the game if he wont of course.

    I have a question about the campaign, which you said that you would eventually work on. as you all know, the only way to use the superweapon is to have captured both a relic, and a kind of strategic point which name seems to have been lost to me. the problem is that, as far as I know, the only Stronghold with both is the IG stronghold. how do you plan to fix this problem? will you place those special points somewhere in every stronghold, or will you simple make it so that you don't need them in the campaign? anyhow, I sure hope that you'll come up with something. I'd love to nuke the shit out off the Tau stronghold someday

    @Rtylock : if the ultimate superweapon wont require both a critical location AND a relic...that would....ruin it. You're not meant to have an apocalypse on every single skirmish. Although, I can see how tempting it is to just nuke the frak out of those Tau commies, it is much more satisfying to crush them with....something....BIG and has lots of DAKKA. If the team were going to remove the requirement for BOTH of those points, the PRICE would need a bit of a tweaking...I like it the way it is though, so I'm not complaining.

    Today i want to show you off my further improvements upon my XV-9 Model and i hope you guys like it as i wasn't able to do EVERY detail up to 1:1 because of missing photographical data :S. But i guess it looks good anyway and can be clearly determined as a XV-9 or what do you think? Tell me!

    Yeah I'll take out that massive regeneration rate but the whole point of that being valid was for massive 100% super fire power to take it out along with the HAVE TO USE Ultimate Superweapon so idk. I'll definitely increase the cost regardless I think and probably remove squad cap perhaps.

    One word, two.

    @Rytlock: I'll definitely fix that melta of the Force Commander if it does only 13 damage. About the ultimate superweapons on strongholds, it's either fix the maps up or simply restrict them in campaign so, idk.
    @Dante: I'd say don't let Profman down. He'll be gone for a while so I expect good results from you than a simple short pm of text. Perhaps you could also be a critic while testing, no? <- Scratch that, that's Whiteshield's job except he doesn't test. Suggest some things I should add or remove and do what Profman does.

    Anyway all here are searching for apocalyptic mod and balance right...I was thinking in an outcome if is possible for the patch or for the future this decision.

    The Necron Lord with all the Artifact purchased ....and for the artifact work the forbidden archive must be build and alive for the artifact to work ...if not or was destroyed the artifact were disable...

    As for the menu were the artifacts were located I remember in previous mod some commanders purchase the wargear in a icon were send you to another tab from the commander itself...I was thinking instead of the wargear purchase ..the artifact purchased must be located here ,make them more priced if necessary ...if not possible all artifact purchase at least I will content with 6 artifacts top...what do you think guys...I think the code allowed it isn't?

    remove the battle sisters avenging angels or make it so they die after awhile....maybe like the bloodthirster when not in combat they lose health........... i was playing a game with them as my allies and they got some where around 15 squads of them maybe less but i know there was way to many of them.............all i saw was a great big glowing yellow screen

    and if it is at all possible re add the heavy bolter upgrade to space marine squads i miss it possibly get rid of the flamer for it but i dont know i anybody uses the flamer???

    Alright so these suggestions are not bad. But keep trying and perhaps save up all the ideas and pm me all the facts and make it a huge list perhaps along with bug finds and such please.

    I found bug in the daemon hunters..

    Is the Land Raider and Land Raider Crusader.

    When the game is prolonged the ai pop like 4 land raider crusaders even when a land raider normal is present ...even when say land raider and land raiders crusader never will be at the same time so ...this idea..

    Land raider Crusader limit to 2 like the restored monolith and 2 land raiders... or 1 crusader and 3 land raider normal. I don't know.

    so just make one really big list of all the bugs i find and then submit them???

    Tau XV-9 Clarification

    @ Setsuna and ImperialShield: Setsuna is right and the XV-9's will NOT include any closecombat ability to make their strenght in ranged combat up! I actually plan to make ALL 3 weapon choices possible with the possible addition of the XV-9 Tau Hero Shas'O'R'Alai http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhamme...TH-DRONES.html
