Just try one upload location at a time when you try to re-upload. I've found that uploading to more than one place at a time can cause disaster.

When I try to enable the XXP1 mod, it says the mod cannot be initialized, or some similar message. I copied over the ACTUAL mod's files to my main soulstorm folder, and then copied over the XXP1 files to it's own folder (within the main folder of soulstorm as well). I'm not sure if i'm missing a step?

Did you install XP1 and XP2 as well? XXP1 requires XP1 and XP2.

Man.. good to see tons of interest like this in a DoW1 balance mod! :O

Calling this a balance mod is an understatement of epic proportions good sir. This mod takes the game to a whole other level and is still in the works.

But you seem to emphasize on it being a DOW1 mod . DOW1 and DOW2 are in my opinion two very different games. The developers wanted to change the DOW1 gameplay style completely and IMHO failed on improving it. Shame thou cause I would love to see a DOW1 type of warhammer game with DOW2 graphics.

This mod basically takes vanilla dawn of war 1 and injects cocaine right into its eyes. Its just so amped up and intense. The scale is awesome, the gameplay is awesome and makes sense (armor and weapon values are as they should be, for the most part- infantry weapons cant kill tanks, etc), all the races are more or less balanced, or at least have enough counters for inventive players to react uniquely to any situation with any faction. The AI is adaptive and plays each race to its relative strengths, noting player tendancies and playing objective based games very, very well. I cant actually beat the hard AI without cheating. thats how well done it is.

The campaign is for the most part fully functional. Im still not sure if it fixed everything but so far ive started an IG and SM campaigns and both havent crashed yet.

One thing id like to note, its minor but noticeable: In the campaign some units do not use proper team-colours for whatever reason (and im using the soulstorm defaults)- some tanks and the imperial officer use old DC colour values. Not a big deal. Its only majorly noticeable on the warhound titan, where it looks like a giant white machine when it could look a bit better in some guard livery. Thats all though. I love this mod, thanks for making it. I was this close to giving up on Dawn of War 1 again.

Does the mod use the modified taskbar.lua? I mean is the new wargear via addon advanced build menu available in the taskbar (like in FoK)? And is it compatible with soulstorm global abilities? Reply and Screenshots using dark eldar and sisters of battle ingame most appreciated

Hi, Apocalypse mod team!

The mod is (specially 1.62.52), to put it simple, BEYOND AWESOME.

But i've got 1 (and just 1) humble request for the next version. Could you make some kind of "Leman Russ command"? Like a mech command, but exclusive for the eight variants of Leman Russes. I would REALLY appreciate that.
I've already pictured it in my head and everything, it looks just like a mech command but it has a "tanky" logo on the roof...

Just looking at Tyrantarmy6's replay, it's because the Tyranids mod doesn't belong to the UA mod team and they don't currently have permission to add units.
