    @ .:Zack Fair:. (Or anyone with the knowledge) Any efficient ways of fighting the sheer amount of units that Harder and Insane throw into the fight? I play vs Hard and win every time (except when my allies get dumb and let themselves get beaten), usually losing less than 20 units, but I have only been able to beat Harder once, and that was a lucky shot.

    So what can I do? I can easily crush Hard AI with minimal (if not zero) losses but Harder (and I didn't even try Insane) gets my base demolished in record time, every time.

    @PsykoTenshi Beating the AI is usually easier than you think...RUSHING is the answer...You keep them closed into their base 'till you advance to tier II (this requires some micro) and then you choose your best anti-building unit (stealthsuits, rocket launchers, screamer killers, wraithlords etc...) and while you destroy his units some of AB units destroys everything else...As I said before AI is very vulnerable to rush

    And I have a little question, is the Triolith that big as the Warlord? And I want to say too that I like a lot your work what you have done on it and I'm playing this mod too a lot of times to make Apocaliptic battles and all that stuff but every in my opionion the Ultimate Super Weapons aren't that big and dont destroy that much and why the Adeptus Sororitas/Sisters of Battle have a Exterminatus Missile that doesn't kill that much? Because the Missile don't kill that much as the Solar Destructor Beam. It's just a question!

    @WhiteMetalSesa: I think that the Triolith is somewhere between the Reaver and Warlod in size. As big epic pyramid gaussing the hell outta your enemy is epic. I think that we've found the right size for it but to be honest i haven't compared the Triolith yet to my Warlord Model but sizes are only relative and nothing that couldn't be corrected with the 3DS scaling tool .

    The Ultimate Super Weapons are going to be reworked anyway as some were more powerful than others and should work fine within the next grand release.
    For that comparsion between Æonic Orb and Exterminatus consider that the Exterminatus missile costs less then the production of the Æonic Orb itself which should make the Orb considerably stronger than the Exterminatus missile (Just from the cost side. I am not regarding the fluff here right now)

    I think that should made things more clear right now

    NOTE to mod team: Noticed the new grey knight skin on moddb. you should replace your outdated Grey Knight model from the one in Purgation of Kaurava. It has more weapons, a hammer, a cool power sword and double wielded force falchions.

    Version 1.63.3 Is Ready For The BETA Stage

    Alright, "version 1.63.3" Ultimate Apocalypse ALPHA mod is ready for BETA testing which means the 2012 release is ready to be loaned to people outside of the team. First post updated with members who are currently involved in testing the mod. If your name is in there, then you are most certainly testing the 2012 release early.

    So yes, it is now ready to be critically abused with constructive criticism and criticalness all over, except for a few areas which I will point out NOT TO TEST. Unfortunately... I cannot upload/download anything. My firewall is out = still can't upload/download, tried downloading stuff = 50% done then fail, uploading stuff = 99% completed, then my computer restarts.

    What does this mean? Testing the mod week is delayed. I CANNOT get passed package and deliver stage and it is so... shitblabing jaba wanna wabba! Hang tight, it is probably a problem with internet signal or motherboard with internet files fail.

    Meanwhile, feel free to explode in anger and curse me with cursely wishes. I'm very sorry for the inconvenience.

    @ Demetrius: I would strongly advise you to NOT install the newest Version of the Tyranid Mod as we can't be sure yet that a possible new code in the Tyranid Mod would not interfere with the actual Apocalypse Code. You could still give it a try and install it and see what it takes but possible new units along Tyranids would not be balanced Apocalypse wise not to mention researches and other stuff. So you would actually have to wait until the grand 2012 release or until we release a Tyranid Mod Patch to use the new Tyranid Mod version.

    And hell i guess we've got some more Beta-Testers this time :P. I hope that we'll not again gain the title "buggies mod Ev4r!" again! Please Beta-Testers make it happen and beat the hell outta your Beta version! XD


    P.S.: Quite little activity during the past few days/weeks are you guys all playing the beta already or are you bust by the fearsome reallife? xD

    Cosmo, I have 4 friends eagerly waiting to play the beta (we play LAN at my place) and help me find issues (be it balance, fluff or mod issues)... We closely follow this mod/thread from the first version. One of my friends is a WH40k fanatic, has 3 complete armies and all the codex books (of all versions publised)!!
    I suppose that like us, MANY people follow the UA progress behind the scenes....

    P.S. As Cylarne instructed, I have just sent a request to join your Play Testing team to Profman. I hope he will accept...

    btw, random bug report on 1.62.542. One of the SM Land Raiders can be only repaired by one servitor at the time, though I don't remember exactly which... It's either the LR Crusader (the one with Hurricane bolters) or the Redeemer (Heavy Flamers).
    I'm quite sure because I use two 'regular' LR's and those two every time.

    Eh... can't. Apparently the hardpoint is named wrong. The code however for the Lightning Claw is there though, if you will ever notice the difference.

    Another thingie I noted on the LR's (and also on the IG superheavies) is that the limits are sort of bugged. For example, as SM, I use to deploy two 'regular' LR's, a Crusader and a Redeemer.     By the way, each race in the Ultimate Apocalypse is so complex for the playtester (and not for the player, thankfully), that I started 4 hours ago, and I am still at 90% for chaos space marines !!!!!! (But it is a pleasure, believe me!!).

    Guys, we have to accept it. UA is one of the TOP Mods available......
    (And I have to say the same for Dark Angels, Black Templars, Tyranids, etc. We are so lucky to have all these skillful and limit-breaking people in our midst!!!!!)

    P.S.: As I said, 2011 Christmas will be TRULY APOCALYPTIC what all these goodies coming!!!

    •Can research 5 marks and can't build special commander unit.
    •In apocaliptic build for wrong position icon can't use some abilities of a one point!
    •Wrong position icons of sorcerers.
    •Wrong describe havoc squad write, that 3 squade can build, but can some quantity.

    •Gretchin stupid they don't build buildings at clamped button "Shift" They refuse to bulid and jst stupid stand!!!

    •Aspect portal not have button deepstrike and hotkey can't use.

    Suggestion: To be more consistent, I think we should ALL playtest ALL races (at the appropriate time), as combined findings maximize their number.... I will in fact intend to test them all within 2 and 1/2 weeks (or less), should the number of internal betas (and of course, Profman and Cylarne) allow it.

    I like to ask if the infantry and Vehicles of the Ai continuing stuck in their base because the Ai build to many buildings blocking the path?

    I was wondering if lessen the building the Ai build and he gave a space between buildings....perhaps that?
