OK, right after taking notes for making gridkeys for every-single-Chaos-building-and-unit, I noticed that I'd need to remap the reinforce hotkey!
Since it's a commonly used hotkey, I never used actual gridkeys (I just know those are mapped on the qwer-asdf-zxcv keys), and the corncobmod gridkeys were hosted on Megaupload (thank you FBI, for "preventing piracy" >:I), I have no idea on where should I remap that key.
Can someone tell me?
Ah, random bug report: The Chaos methul bawx Lord becomes unable to upgrade his wargear after the Daemon Prince summoning is researched, luckily Dracolith can upgrade wargear too (wargear has effect on both).

Ok, I was taking notes on DE, and noticed two things:
1- I only noted the keys for Chaos with the Undivided mark D:
2- A potential exploit by save/loading with the Heroes win condition? I very rarely save/load games, but when I did during my DE noting, I had some lv3 mandrakes, and when loaded, they were lv1, but with lv3 stats (increased hp and bonus attack). I don't know if that's supposed to be like this, but I see some potential Baneblade with more hp than a titan lolz by using this.

Um... why is there a need to make grid keys when all hotkeys but maybe most abilities and weapons are done?

hey cylarne, doing imperial guard in the dev mode (shift t twice) and my players AI is different to the rest, considering its meant to be player controlled, is it using basic AI?
Me too I think IG have something doesn't run.
I've tested it without BT and SL and turning out AI properties and I've found that they only produce the basic type leman russ without any upgrade.
However they produce every type of infantry units.
AND how the hell do i make my anti-tank teams have lascannons?? The AI can do it, but i cant find the research or a weapon upgrade on the unit.'

@Sandronius Prime: We have playable transport aircraft units like the THUNDERHAWK.For the grand release though.

I will post balancing\testing issue if I foud something interesting.
It seem to me that Imperial (IG,SM..) Autocannon is overpowered and las, plasma and melta cannon underpowered.
Specially Melta would be more effective against everything in close range.
And another thing, if I switch a squad in close combat they do not use flamethrower and meltagun.
I don't remember how it was in other mod and in the original DoW but I think those weapon would be great for support in close combat.

Dark eldar corruption power hotkey "c" clashes with the advanced build hotkey.
Daemonhunters grey knights dreadnought's plasma cannon cannot be upgraded as it needs the heavy armour support upgrade (SM?)

I have been testing these "gates" and here is what i found out:
They have no name,neither of those walls,nor they have a name for their infiltration ability and its icon is pink too.

They appear to have a unnamed research with missile turret upgrade on it,and an unfinished description.It must be the gate upgrade,

Hey guys just want to post a quick and simple superficial bug
in one of the random permutations for the chaos lord draconlith he has a 4 bladed, 1 handed maul, that is not textured, but rather has black and green lines
also the arch angle the only new unit you can see in the army painter?
First:Arch angel is the only new unit for now,in grand release there will be more and yes,the maul has unfinished texture.
Second:Cylarne,how long before the new patch is released?I need time to see if there are any bugs in all races,so that it can be released bug-free.This time i want to post bug report on time.
Another bug, the nightspinner (Eldars) close range weapon shoots purple boxes o3o (I kinda like the efect but i dont think its supossed to happen XP)

I think I need to note that the brass scorpion is stupidly overpowered, just sending it in as a suicide unit will result in its death explosion killing all your enemies infantry. I'd recommend removing its death explosion, I lost my entire marine army to it earlier, which numbered around 10 squads. The tanks survived but it then forced me to use armour the whole game, using infantry just became a waste of resources.

The damage dealt by the Brass Scorpion is max = 900, min = 400;
Damages...
Basic infantry = 100%
Infantry = 80%
Elite Infantry = 75%
Heavy Infantry = 60%
Elite Heavy Infantry = 15%
The rest is... ignored right now.
Basically if Ewoks causes that much impact CONSTANTLY something is not right. The normal vehicle blast radius is max = 650, min = 150 already. Same armor piercings. I'll balance out the damage and add a cost to the Brass Scorpion by 100/100 each for balance reasons.

How do you change the camera view back to default? -_- it makes my game lag so much!!! I need the default view back for more FPS but guys I have a question is my PC even enough to handle this mod?

Im impressed that the team added Total destruction as a win condition.It has everything XP1 and XXP1 possessed,only there is no "no limit"in it.I hope it will be on next patch.
It seems to me the rubric marines are severely underpowered they get killed by everything almost instantly but are "resiliant" and "slow but tough" and "leader cast powerfull spells dealing massive amounts of damage to groups of enemies" unless unit haste does massive damage and im not seeing it i would say somehtings missing.

@ gab: I have a quad core Phenom II, a HD 4890 Vapor-X and 4 Gb's of ddr3 ram and the game used to lag the hell off on this mod.
I say "used" because after I applied that tweak mentioned by spacekiller (that part is very important) and disabled the Windows page file, I finally got rid of those nasty lag spikes. Beware that some games (for some potentially pointless reason) require a page file to be present in order to run. Dawn of War II Retribution is one of such games :/
The page file can be disabled from the performance settings under the "Advanced" tab on advanced system configuration (Windows 7)/system properties (windows XP).
Just to make sure I don't make things worse for someone: You really shouldn't disable the page file if you're running on less than 4 Gb's of ram. Additionally, the tweak to make Soulstorm be able to use more than 2 Gb of memory doesn't work on the Steam version; and while it can be used on 32 bit systems, it's best used on a 64 bit OS.
i have a 32 bit os and with this mod my game lagged terrablely on ultra settings but after i applyed the fix it my performance got hugly well. Nw My game only lags when there is war on the total map this only happens in 8 player maps and rarely.
yes i apyled to use more ram than 4gb disable page file,well the page file was by default disabled for hdd2 or non system disk,now i disabled to for system disk,i dont have steam version.
old wish/request 1 click upgrade for desired weapon??like in dow2,example you have 16 guardsmen if i wont upgrade with 16 weapons i need to click 16 times.

Something I have yet to add on that thread: I run Soulstorm on compatibility mode for Windows 95 and I'm pretty sure it loads a little bit faster. Unfortunately, this seems to break multiplayer on Windows Vista, no idea on how it may react on Win7.
I have Windows XP and I can multiplay on compatibility mode for 95 however.

@everyone: Well, want an early release? I seem to cannot fix this STUPID Eldar, IDH, IG, and Tyranid ai problem, so...
The 1.62.51 patch will only fix up two things annoying, and some more balance changes, but yeah that's it. There are no Fatal SCAR errors or ctd's evident to the mod AT ALL. DOW Engine blows it, but yeah the mod is pretty stable at least 90% of the way.

For those who haven't seen it already on moddb i just want to post some pictures of the Necron Tesla Barge i was working on. I've got the model itself from Demetrius and just applied a quick texture job today by aprox 3-4 H of spare time i've found luckily ^^. I've also gave it a simple bonestructure for the turrets so that i just have to add some FX point helpers and start doing the animations soon which shouldn't be so hard to do. Just some floating animations here and there some idle driver necrons playing tetris on their consoles and we should be set! Though i could always use some good FX if someone has some in spare and/or lost in the dark basement full of (tomb) spiders. Anyway have fun watching it and beeing sure that this will very likely appear upon the grand release if i am fast enough then.
But then still don't forget to have a nice day after watching...

necron super heavy vehicle ? looks great
its not a super vehicle; those of us who play the tabletop game (aka me) will recognize that as a doomsday barge, which is a simple small tank in comparison to other supers, so no, it is not a super but i AM excited to see it game; good work cosmo
