you know this could all be saved if we could get the 2nd monolith as a buildable support monolith.
Moving vehicles/skimmers to the second support monolith and using the old monolith for infantry.
And that would save a lot of hassles.
But, my attempts to shift units out of the old monolith cause game start up crash, I guess I was never meant to do it.

Now seriously, deepstriking Baneblades were sorta imba, but magically spawning Baneblades would be unarguably OP. Awesome, but OP.
But this is what motivated me to post: Making Carron to scream "methul bawxes!" and other iconic phrases is completely possible. Though he won't make difference between vehicle and non-vehicle enemies (at least I don't see how), that's something I'd be glad to see in game.
If someone gets me at least basic instructions on how to add voice responses to the Chaos Lord you can expect a mini-mod from me soon![]()

And of course the infamous "WE MUST TAKE AWAY THEY METUHL BAWKSES!" and "SIIINDREEEEEEH!" xD. In oder to do so you must have the sound files in .wav format and then use the relic audio tool in order to compile your sound bit into the .fda format, though i am not sure if this works for music either as i haven't tested it yet.
@Arkagunner328: I had that idea of replacing Pariahs with lychguards some time ago already. That entropy staff i made and shown on moddb was in fact a first attempt for doing Lychguards and nobody saw the truth behind it! :3 Though i haven't started yet doing a certain Newcron model except that Entropy Staff. On top i wanted to do some tesla carbines for the immortals giving them some sort of infantry busting weapon choice but haven't made attempts to make it come true yet either. You see I have alot of ideas in my mind too but simply not the time now to make it all come true because you know the average model needs already several days do be done, not mentioning the necessary post-fine-tuning. God i could use more time as 24H per day is DEFINETELY NOT ENOUGH.
So I heard Thudo that you have some connections to Tzeentch, would you mind asking him that he might could do something about this issue? :P

I have a request can you change the titans to pass through buildings? its rather annoying watching your friendly ai build a scout titan but then box it, in cause of poor building layout that "traped", in at its base preventing it from moving or make it so that ai build superstructures farther away from other buildings?

Additionally: Between me being lazy and not googling it (and I should really go sleep by now) and me not knowing even how to look it up, I can't quite know how to modify a unit's audio responses. You want a audio fun mod? Tell me (or at least hint me) how to modify the units' responses. I want the Chaos Lord, Boreale, even the Commissar ("a shipment of 100 Baneblades" is too good to let it pass) to have funny audios too.

So anyway there was a discussion some time ago about a Stormhammer and i saw quite some implementations of these and artwork and decided to make some new out of the old vanilla Baneblade.
I think that the outcome is quite acceptable and blends almost perfectly with the other IG stuff. I had to revamp the mesh and the texture bending it to my will MWAHA!
I guess that the following pics will especially make Thudmeizer happy is i saw him provide some artwork links in a discussion (Maybe it was on moddb? I dunno anymore) making clear "THIS IS HOW A STORMHAMMER SHOULD LOOK LIKE LADS!". Thus i took him by his word and made the unit below come true ^^ enjoy watching it!

I already commented on this marvel on UA's ModDB page but... FOUR battle cannons... Now that's gonna be loud. Unfortunately for noise marines, they'll be on the unfortunate side of those guns!
That tank is simply beautiful.
Now, onto feedback from multiplayer games!
I have been playing several online games with a friend, and while he's undoubtedly superior to Insane AI (which took us to several 2 vs 2 on Insane AI and even 2 vs 3), we found several units that chew on heavy infantry with ease (his specialty).
In a spoiler because it's a bit long
Sisters of Battle Exorcist: Simply OP vs infantry. They are innacurate, but that's highly compensated with about 6 times the knockback other artillery has. Try using infantry vs the Sisters and you'll see what I mean. I usually send lots of Leman Russes and Baneblades so Exorcists only dented the paint on themBut when I tried going infantry vs SoB, it was hell.
Eldar Nightspinner: It can reduce a fully teched Space Marine squad to half health in one somewhat lucky volley. Making infantry vs Eldar on urban maps almost literally suicidal. And it also deals ok-ish damage on vehicles...
IDH Orbital Psycannon: I understand it's supposed to be very powerful but, it will kill any infantry squad nearly instantly and until now, the only way of saving a part of the squad is having a Karskin/Ogryn squad (since Guardsmen are usually insta-purged) with a Priest attached and using the Fanaticism ability with very good timing.
Ork Lootas(Though this is my experience): One squad almost destroyed a full hp Baneblade in less than 20 seconds. nuff said.
Comfirmed sync-error?: With my friend we played now four 2 vs 3 battles vs Harder AI. We couldn't finish any of those games because every time, always about the time I was about to/I had deployed my Titan he had a sync error and was kicked out. On our last try I went for the superweapon and did not deploy a Titan at all. Again, a sync error for him. As I can't face three Harder AI on my own, I had to quit every time
In addition to the fact I don't remember the last time I saw an IG AI advance to Tier... I forgot the number dammit. Just get an IG AI ally and check for the tower-like add-on on the Field Command when the game is over. Maybe it is superfluous but I think thet IG AI problem ise due to the thing thet pc always choose infantery doctrine.
Another things in two preavious version of UA MOD there was a superb Double Twin linked Assault/Auto/Las Cannon dreadnought it wos my favourite do you think you will bring it back in next release ?
And last the eldar wraitlord is one of the toughest unit in the main tabletop game three wounds with res 8 is hardest than a land raider or at least comparable. Do you think you could augment his health ?

METAL GOD installed the latest version successfully, his antivirus didn't like the look of the UA uninstaller executable and marked it as suspicious.
With hex'n'tex you mean texturing via hex editor, right? About that... I don't know... I usually can do things quite fine without a gui, but I can't picture myself doing graphics-like stuff (such as textures) without actually seeing what the heck I am doing
But I have absolutely no idea of what the hex'n'tex procedure involves. I just think it involves a hex editor somewhere.
Man, I thought this mod was DEAD. Back when SS wasn't even a twinkle in anyone's eye. Great to see it still rocking hard but...
After attempting to install it into SS (steam copy) and doing the required restart... nothing. It doesn't restart the game and I must manually relaunch only to see that UA has not activated itself.
Any advice on how to get this awesome mod to work for me would be muchly appreciated.

@ Bulk: Try making a new shortcut to the Soulstorm executable (or using the "set launch options" button on the General tab of your Soulstorm game properties, though this will cause you always launch SS with those settings) and adding this on the "Target" field/on the launch options:

I was going to ask the same as RMX. It is indeed an imperial missile-based artillery vehicle. Manticore much? But all the Manticores I've seen out there (not only the Retribution one) have 4 missiles... I guess that makes this one better, as you can never have too much dakka.

Thanks for that! 'm able to play the "normal" mod now after adjusting the launch properties. Not New Races though. As soon as it launches it promptly crashes to desktop.

Doesn't Tau have already LOTS of railguns? I complain because they keep shooting (and usually killing VERY quickly. damn those sniper drones and broadsides) the loyalist out of my commanders from ridiculous distances.

@RT2: That's some nice stuff I hadn't seen before. I'm not saying the races are being treated unfairly in the UA mod. It's just that the content generated by the community is not evenly distributed among the races, and as such it's reflected on UA as well. If anything you're one of the few that have accomplished anything for the SS races.
@RMX: over the last 20 or so years I have seen races come and go from 40k, Content waxes and wanes depending on the impressiveness of the codex and fluff released.
Things Like Vehicles Design Rules and Individuals unit creation ideas have lead to a greater level of models for one race or another.
The age of the race also determines the amount of fluff and hence the amount of Model available for it.
Tau and dark eldar are new as of 3rd ed, and their fluff content isnt as high as say Marines/guard.
Sisters since 2nd ed always had a small amount of models due to their unique gameplay and the idea of playing with female models.
Tyranids since 2nd ed have limited fluff due to their dynamic and mutagenic nature.
IDH / WH are relatively new when thinking about their release which was 3rd/4th ed.
Grey knights being one of the newest armies will have minimal fluff and a very small amount of models. the 2nd ed grey knight range only had 5 models if you include the two tda inquisitors.
Necrons still have a limited range because of what was done to them in 3rd ed, where there architecture was changed and fluff that was developed was null and void. Same in 5th.

chaos/marines/orks/eldar have been the main stead fast races in 40k.
Daemons are still new as I think their personell codex was released in 4th/5th ed.
I probably missed something..
But needless to say the DOW representation of races is just a carry on from the GW treatment of Races, which has limited their profits to their own dismay.
And there seems to be some kind of psychosis that I am writing a thesis on about the new races released in SS and members of the communities ability to understand what the new races are, because they play for 5 mins and they think they have a grasp over every race in the 40k universe.
