    1.62.63=AWESOME!!
    Just wanted to report 3 things I noticed so far:

    - Chaos-Warhound doesn't move in Army painter (no animation)

    - Even with "Apocalypse" Necron Attack Scarabs take time to build

    - When I use wincondition "Restrict Superweapons" the Game loads, I click start and get a "Critical Error" message ingame and the game stops (so, no CTD). I can press esc and then continue, but the Error-text stays there

    Yes I got reports that 1.62.63 is broken and slipped passed my eyes somehow, yet 1.62.62 was all fine, yay. :S Hotfix coming immediately today!
    - IDH Venerable Dreadnought is broken ingame.
    - Shadow Super-heavy also broken with FX not imported causing bad FX like Ven. Dread. :S
    - Relic unit caps will be looked at, someone reported it is annoying on Extreme Battles.
    - Superweapon condition I thought I tested.... worked for me but now I'll have a third look.

    Thanks for the set of eyes! But may I ask it if people stop reporting bugs via PM? I got 9 new messages by just bug reports. :S Please post in public threads, great place for the audience to note bugs in 1.62.63. Thank you!

    do you have to install all the previous patches before this as well? cuz i just reinstalled the complete collection and i want to know if i just get 1.62.64 or all the others as well

    I think I've mentioned you don't need any other older patches, and I think if you read installations it clearly states that this is only a patch and it requires the Complete Collection.

    Is it intentional that, every time you choose Chaos OverLord Dracolith in the army painter, he is someone else?
    I'm not very familiar with playing chaos, so i don't know if he has different builds or so

    WARNING! Not the entire thing, please reupload 1.62.64 later today, I messed up on the 1.62.64 patch, uploaded it to crowd and found out that I forgot the something in 1.62.64; the IDH Venerable Dreadnought spawns on mission start for IDH. This new hotfix that fixes the hotfix will fix that last problem.

    Overall, ONE HELL OF A BLAST! Most embarrassing release even greater than the old 1.62.52 Complete Collection. Aw what memories.

    Yeah Chaos "OverLord Dracolith" renamed here in Alpha mod is uh... changeable.

    Edit: Ok, 1.62.64 hotfixe's hotfix is online, feel free to download it now, Tenshi is working on a mirror...

    Yay 3 mirrors!

    EDIT: Uh.. the Chaos Warhound is a bit rusty i think.. it refuses to have animations, so it glitches around and deals damage without firing
    Oh, Torzel's textures are in there, I must have removed the .whe file without realizing it too. Few it's not spoiled.

    Ok 1.62.65 patch might be in production, might not.

    This mod is one of the best Alpha's I have ever seen. What you present to the public is (in most cases) as clean as possible so I don't think that you have to be embarrassed
    (DayZ for example.. kinda buggy )

    At least you don't mind keeping the non-double hotfixed hotfix

    Simply extract to your Soulstorm directory as with any other patch.
    I had to add an image file (and a text document just because) for Mediafire to stop refusing the upload (Mediafire seems to not like uploads 3kb in size).

    PS/edit: The original link contained a tiny bug, which this hotfix I posted on mediafire corrects. Before the full 1.62.64 package was fixed as well, 5 people got to download it hence this tiny fix so they don't have to get 71Mb again.
    If there's any doubt, I did not make that fix, Cylarne sent it to me.

    @ mitsumiken: What exactly do you want to keep from ye olde 1.62.541? You can manually back it up and restore it on 1.62.59 (and apply the 1.62.64 patch)
    If it's only army painter color schemes I say move to 1.62.59 as color schemes are saved in the Profiles folder, outside the mod folder itself.

    There's your problem right there pal, you're missing the Tyranids mod. OR, it could be that you didn't do this: (you must do this after installing the Tyranids mod anyways)
    Click this link, hit Ctrl+S, and on the prompt to "save file" that will appear, select the file Tyranids.module in your Soulstorm install directory.

    Was playing .62 and noticed that for SMs, the "1st company veterans" and the other one's icons are switched up. When I hover over the one with I, it has the description for second company elites.

    Please reinstall 1.62.59 and patch again, just in case, I figure there is some 7-zip equipment that bugs downloads to random people. If nothing works again, please post the warnings.log at the bottom of your Soulstorm folder.

    @ racerking98: Well that's odd. Now it's the Inquisition Daemonhunt mod that doesn't work. Do the following to reinstall it:

    -Erase both the IDH mod folder and module from your Soulstorm folder.
    -Extract idh_beta2_ss.rar using a software like winrar or 7-zip
    -Then, select the inquisition_daemonhunt folder and .module only. This is important as the Objective Points version included with the IDH mod is considerably outdated.
    -Move/copy them to your Soulstorm install directory (the exact directory may differ considerably, here are the default locations (omit the "(x86)" if you are running a 32 bit OS). How to know if your OS is 32 bit? Simple: 32 bit OS' don't have two Program Files folders (with and without the "(x86)" suffix).
    -You're done reinstalling the IDH mod!

    I'd also try running the base UA mod (known as "Actual", basically non-XP2 UA) to see if that one works to begin with.

    -Is your Soulstorm patched to 1.20?
    -Does the Inquisition Daemonhunt mod load properly on its own?

    A bit more seriously: Wow your Soulstorm install surely is determined to not cooperate. Here's what I'd do:

    · Make a backup copy of your Profiles, Screenshots, Badges and Banners folders in your Soulstorm directory.
    · (optional) Test which other mods do launch and back up their folders and .modules too.
    To launch a mod directly (without using the in-game Game Manager) make a shortcut to your Soulstorm executable and add this to the "Target" field:

     -nomovies -modname inquisition_daemonhunt
    ("inquisition_daemonhunt" or any other mod name as seen on the name of their folder)
    Once that bit is added to the shortcut target, it should look (specifically for you) like this:

    · Uninstall Dawn of War - Soulstorm and all mods completely.
    · Install it back again (the exact same location is fine and no, that does NOT cause issues).
    · Patch it to 1.10 and then to 1.20
    · Restore all backed up content (Those 4 folders + functional mods if any)
    · Install the Inquisition Daemonhunt mod following the instructions on this post.
    · Install the Tyranids mod if it was not included on the backup. Be sure of applying the hotfix after the installation if doing so.
    Hotfix for the Tyranids mod v0.5b1:
    Click this link, hit Ctrl+S (or if that doesn't work, save the page via your browser menus), and on the prompt to "save file" that will appear, select the file Tyranids.module in your Soulstorm install directory. Done.
    · Install the UA Complete Collection 1.62.59
    · Patch it to 1.62.64

    By the Omnissiah, it better work after all that.

    P.S.: It doesn't really affect me and my l33t mouse with ridiculously fast scrolling, but I think it'd help many if you put the logs in spoiler tags.

    Just installed latest patch from the main release (1.62.59).

    I have tried not a lot of match but I see that I can't unchek AI Properties wincondition/option during skirmish set up.

    It would be possible to fix this ? In previous patches that Wincondition/Option gave me a lot of problem I'm affraid of it :S

    Is it a new patch going to be released ? it would be great maybe with some few more goodies.

    I think GR shall have enough from great stuffs and major gamplay changes, give us a easiest wait

    In my opinion, Orks are too stupid to wield superweapons and I find them to be very unique if they don't own any, such as super structures or... any other advanced race has. However, excluding the not favorited by most people; 1.62.64 patch; Orks are supposed to summon infinite Squiggoths, Relic units in general and that can make them as daedly as superweapons. Coming out with them real soon too, an Ork Stompa (new one) which will be the main Ork Titan. But fielding unlimited Ork relic units at once? Me likes, further balance however is in the testing works.

    Because if that doesn't fix the issues you currently have, then the problem is not within the game folder. Which would most likely mean your computer needs software repairs. Or some maintenance at least :/

    And while I'm really going offtopic here, do not trust the maintenance of your system to some random "pc speedz 2000!" program. Those have proven to cause a vast amount of problems. The by far best choice for that job is a human that knows what is doing, and is at least somewhat trustworthy. A rarity, I know.

    Let me say this: I patched Soulstorm up to 1.20 and it worked fine. Then I installed the Complete Collection and that too worked fine. I patched it to 1.62.64 and now I'm here again with this:

    Also, before you post anything, how many times did you download the 1.62.64 patch in total? And then install with the total?

    @Arkagunner: Can you please let us handle with racerking? I don't think what you suggested is going anywhere as it could be that racerking's downloaded mod file has been corrupted and may need a second download.

    @ racerking98: Wait. Did you use the Mediafire mirror? I HEARD (just heard, absolutely never happened to me) that downloads from there sometimes experience data corruption. As that never, ever happened to me, I assumed it was just a rumor.
    However, if you downloaded 1.64.64 from Mediafire ONCE, I strongly suggest you to erase the 1.64.64 zip file you have and re-download it.

    @ Overlord of the Apocalypse Cylarne: I'm actually starting to feel tempted to upload my UA BETA mod folders for racerking (by sending him a link to a passworded .7z via PM and stuff. If that's ok... I don't see why that wouldn't but you is the boss).
    Suffer not the bug to live.

    In the meantime, in order to confirm is Mediafire is reliable for uploading UA patches, I'll download five 1.64.64 copies from there and do some hash checks.

    Concerning mirrors, I have downloaded and installed the latest patch from mirror 1 at least 10 times. From the MediaFire mirror, I would say about 3-4 times.

    Hello guys,

    i have a question concerning the win-conditions (and bear with me if my question is stupid as hell *g*).
    Everytime is use the win-condition "Total destruction" i have about 100k ressources each and with that amount of ressources it is kinda boring. Is there any way to play the mod (without new races) without the restriction to one titan without having a shitload of ressources at the beginning?
    If i remember correctly you had like 10k ressources back in the day where xp1 and xxp1 and so on were live.

    Oh and by the way, with total destruction active you have 100k ressources regardless of the starting ressources being normal or fast start (schnellstart in germen).

    Thanks in advance for any usefull tips and keep up the good work. This mod is the only reason me and couple of friends are still playing this game!

    Rephrase your question please? IF I understood correctly, you want to:
    -Play the Actual, non-XP2 UA
    -With regular starting resources (1000 requisition [blue], 100 power [green] at least my memory's failing me)
    -And with the possibility of deploying more than one titan on late game

    I immediately thought of making a specially modified total destruction win condition scar file that doesn't give 100k resources. That should work... In fact:
    Total Destruction without extra resources. Download and unzip that. Then unzip "apply changes.zip" on your Soulstorm directory and merge/replace to apply. Do the same with the included "undo changes.zip" file if it doesn't work/break something. Which is a possibility because I didn't test it

    P.S.: Gamefront is on "download unavailable at the moment"-dumb mode, so I had to upload it elsewhere. Not that uploading 7kb instead of 3.5kb is much more effort but... I'm procrastinating! I should be doing that "installing UA for dummies" tutorial!

    @ swafnan: That's really weird, the wincondition was basically two sections, "add resources", and then "add hueg cap". I erased the add resources part and left the hueg cap part untouched, but then again, my knowledge on scar is limited to... Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V? Ok, I'm being a bit too harsh on me, I know a bit more than that but not much more.


    @ Everyone: Mediafire mirror is SAFE. Downloaded the 1.62.64 patch from there 5 times, and compared the 5 separate downloaded files with MD5... and SHA-512 hash checks. 100% perfect and symmetrical
    (virtual cookie for anyone who identifies that. And NO. Do not make a post just for "me knows" because the moderators will smite you. Add it to a constructive post or don't say a thing).


    EDIT: The tutorial on how to install UA is ready! Coming soon on ModDB after moderator authorization.
    @ racerking98: PM'd you with a practically exclusive pre-release (lol) of said tutorial.
