Yes i agree that it has WAY too much stuff applied which makes it more likely to "bake" details later into one texture to aply onto a lower polygoned model. But anyway that model is REALLY awesome demetrius! And no i don't have any animatons yet for the XV-9 as i just prepared it for that process of animationg it. But they're coming soon :3.

Progress:I'm trying to model Dow 2 Eldar Stronghold.
I have a request for the uppcomming update. if it's not too much trouble, could you please make it so that the Eldar Vyper honour guard in the campaign gets the same weapon uppgrades as the normal ones? I ask this because I hate the missile launcher that it has. it is so annoying when I put up a strong firing line using my other honourguards, only to have it blown across a huge area because one lucky ork mannaged to get close enough for the vyper's missile launchers AoE to affect my own units.
I understand if you won't do this, but I thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.

@RT2: If that is your goal, modelling every unit existant in DOW; is it more of a collection or are you certain that all models will be made in game? Making all of them models without animation assistance can get overwhelming and will not be accomplished in game for all, by basic logic.

my 1 leg is 10000 polys,it is not 300k,only cosmocrat knows how big it is.
cronus is right but i didnt model for years,started in blender now few months on max,my 3d max course will start soon,so i dont no what textures can cover and what can not,those wires in canon can be covered by textures,i am practising tthats why adding many details,when i proceed it to cosmocrat,he can rework sam parts to lower polys how big are dow 2 models??

i played yesterday a little after few weeks of non playing,well i play other games to,but didnt play anything keep modelling and modelling,the strongest races are necron tau and eldar,the weakest,orcs,sob,and dark eldar.
cylarne did you make mortyrs and laser team as squads??
i will play fok today to see which units can be imported maybe to late for this release.

Just played an amazing game on Apocalypse mode (units/buildings free and built instant). Me and a friend against orks. More than one superweapon was used and all titans and relic units were built, lost and then built again several times before the Ork bases (they made a whole base in seconds almost as soon as the last was destroyed) were taken out. Although I am a little ashamed of using a warp storm super weapon on my friends base, annihilating his imperial guard from the map just before victory was attained but it has such a nice graphical effect I could not resist lol.

Well their are sergeants in the FOK mod that have helmets for regular guard squad sergeants but not for storm trooper squad sergeants. For the regular guard sergeants their are four models i think and one of the models is with out a helmet.
@krronus : I have to admit, setsuna's idea would make the game somewhat...different. I think it would reduce the number of unit choices for certain races...which would make the game less hectic and more towards picking the right path to beat the enemy picking his path. But that would take a heck of a long time to code....I assume

Hey I wonder is still possible for a few mods i like ...if I all of you have time...those are little mods.
-Can you increase the range of the gauss flayer of the heavy destroyer ,Destroyer,Pariah, and more specifically the Necron warriors I like the range a little longer because I feel it's too short ...I Will very happy if just increase a little at least the range....not the damage if any of you feel it unbalanced
-Can it increased the range effect of the lightning field....Too short T^T ..a 0.5 wide it will be great.
-The former ability of the lord destroyer "Stasis field" as a defensive ability for ,the obelisk ,the pillar of darkness or the energy beacon...At least one of them i will be happy.
-This is the Mod I really want because of the disappointment of his use.

There is a very annoying issue for with some of the vehicle units in this game to my knowledge so far i have only dealt with in the marauder bomber and land raiders:
the issue is when the unit is attack or being attacked i cant i make the unit move (it "ignores" my command) unless i go in and switch it to the stop "stance" (stance with the green hand) then the unit listens to my move commands
has any one else faced this issue?
Necron Warriors may be Tomb Deathwing!Because the other(Destroyer,Heavy Destroyer and Pariah)has fast moving speed advantage and heavy armor so we shouldn't increase their range or firing rate too if you ask to.

To Inharntdispoile: Oh you remind about that!The same thing happen to Chaos Predator and Land Raider(if I not wrong) but it really happen to Chaos Predator.I upgraded Lascanon for them and set them in range stance then command them to attack.When enemy unit sighted,they stop moving but not shoot anything.If the enemy come closer,some time they shoot some time they won't.But this thing not happen if I not upgrade them to Lascanon!Does this mean there are something wrong with Lascanon range?
To Tomb Deathwing:I think we can't.Customs Avatar option has been removed long ago.Only some older member still had their customs Avatar today.
Playing as Tau they certainly need some new stuff and some tweaking imo. I love them as a race but in some areas their too strong in this mod and in others their a bit weak, for example late game railgun tanks and Kroot knarlacs are no match for land raiders, baneblades and worst of all, higher tier units like Warhound titan/deamon prince etc. So this new walker and such you have in the works would be excellent to fill their higher tier role. But on the other hand their killer early game because their really easy to tech up with. Being building based, it does not take long until your at top tier tech (hammerheads/knarlac/ethereal) while your opponent may have only just started fielding their first vehicles. Maybe add a research or two in between that requires said tier buildings but costs slightly less than other races? so the tau still have to wait for research before fielding higher tier units?
I am not the best player so it could just be my low skill thats at fault, anyone got tips for taking out baneblades and land raiders? ive used hammerheads but their soft while baneblades and LR's are hard as nails. Broadsides are a bit slow but are a bit more useful.
Ah, don't worry, all weapons will be reworked (After the patch). At least everything will attack aircraft, relic units will be easier to kill and if you have 100% anti infantry troops, at least they'll damage vehicles a little bit. Also three new armor types will be added, (Titan, Super Structure and Living Metal). PLEASE do not ask me to add more armor types.

To Apocalypse:I think you are really Dow rookie player and need more to learn.Tau are most highgest technology race in game so that mean any other race that strong in vehicles rather than infantry(example:Imperial Guards) were no match for them.In other words,Tau is tank hunter race.Ork SoB Tyranyd and CSM are Tau most dangerous enemy so you have not thing to fear BaneBlade or LandRaider when playing Tau.
One last thing you should know that Tau strong in infantry(squads) not vehicles(tanks) and most Tau suits are effective against vehicles,most Tau vehicles effective against infantry.So when you met BaneBlade again,bring a lot of xv-88 suits or use Commander teleport to then BOOM! and you'll be fine =) .Oh! and use Ion Canon regulary,it very useful!

Thanks for considering my request. It always bugged me that you saw heavily armed men with armor but no helmets. It always screamed shoot me in the head.
Actually as far as i know there's nothing the Tau have that the Imperium doesn't have, they just use the technology differently and field it differently, for example the imperium does have railguns, but they use them on their space ships, although i think there are even imperial tanks that do use railguns but i'm not sure on that. The whole "Tau are super advanced" thing is a misconception considering that depending on your viewpoint, even the Orks could be more advanced, never forget that the greenskins have the best teleportation technology around, second only maybe to that of the necrons, god damn orks.Setsuna, technically Eldar and Necrons are more technologically advanced. True.....For my view only Eldar/Dark Eldar and Necron are the Pinnacle of technology because they have a Status of Ancient...The Rest of the race is variety , One could look more archaic than another but that is their tech-tree they develop
I know all your case but Eldar,IG and Necrons are exist millennia ago and Tau are youngest race in WH40K Universe.They are the most rapidly expanding,growing and advanced tecnology so it worth a bit right?But that is what Codex said.In game Tau are most deadly Tank-hunter,anti vehicles race and can shoot down Eldar&IG Super Tanks or Necrons Monolith(even Doomday Phalanx).
Any way I agree that Ork is advanced tecnology too because they can loot anything or create everything from trash.

Ah ok I will try and use more stealth suits and xv-88. Thanks for the tips. I had a max pop cap filled with them (playing apocalypse mod so they all built instantly) and they do, epecially in those numbers make short work of most things. Although I am a chaos player at heart so playing as Tau is difficult, I guess ill just learn more on them.

@Setsuna269: Using other mod teams material without any permission is not good. You shall not use property which is not your own, without having any permission! If you really want to have a certain unit but have no permission to take it, then make that one on your own or let it be! Anything else is simply not good in every way of view.
