Boreale is too strong...Then SM have also Chapter Master as a very powerful hero late game
When my Boreale gets killed is by swarms of little buggers (like Necron Attack Scarabs) blocking him and ranged troops shooting the spess outta him.
Until the teleporter wargear is ready, that's the main threat for the mehreen commander.
It wasnt my fault my scarabs raped your Boreale.They were hungry. i needed to feed my babies.

OK, looks like my game is bugged. I'm going to reinstall the mod and if that don't work then I'll just remove the squiggoth with an editor.
@nkg114, you know you don't have to fight orks, if squiggoths are so dangerous, then why don't you play orks yourself and see if it is true.
I fought 3 squiggoths at the same time, and killed them all including the army in less then 30 seconds.they weren't really dangerous to my cron army!

I tried some other maps and find out the hard way that the bug only happen on some of them. And by hard way I mean getting my squiggoth's butt kicked while charging right into a titan in a 1v1

I can humiliate Hard AI but Harder owns me every time. Speaking of this, any chance that the AI is practically twice as powerful on some maps?
(One single Hard AI owned me and an ally big time using skill I've never seen on that difficulty)

@ demetrius: I received EPIC PWNAGE from both one Tau and one Chaos on different situations. They're both in your ranking so makes sense. Weird thing is that I owned Eldar on similar conditions.
The maps where I got my a*s handed to me are Rocklaw Foothills vs Tau and Quatra vs Chaos respectively. And I agree with Gambit. OP daemon prince is OP. Once sent it to an enemy base on aggressive stance and the bastard flattened it all by itself.

depends which harder AI,if you play with sob i think that any hard tau,eldar,necron sm,chaos, and ig AI will beat you,maybe even standard
i think strongest race if you loose and let cpu run AIagainst each other,something like this

about heroes,i palyed with sma nd after gain exp in batlles i think his hitpoints rase to 24000,i think this is highest he can go,in my opinion i would decrease how much max hp each heroe can have,think deamon prince hitpoints goes to 60000??

Dude,Heroes win condition is the only thing that saved me in campaign maps.Because of it,my Daemon Prince was able to survive within minutes.I say,leave it be.

@Cylarne - well, noticed someone's working on a better reaver model now. good thing I haven't started working on texturing it yet. (the old one) hope there's no hard feelings, but dude, the new one is kickass

Yay another milestone! I just finished today the Tomb Stalkers Texture, Rig and most of the OE code. Now it's basically in-game ready! It still has some missing animations like the completely absent melee attack animations but hell it's kick ass already! So i can now definetely say that it will be in the 2012 version of the mod for 100% didn't thought i would manage to get it in-game that fast lol.
So anyway here are some pix of it

-Terminator Boreale's assault cannon's range must be decreased.
Question: Did he retain the previously researched wargear advantages in terminator armor?
If yes, a nice suggestion would be to lose those, so that the player would have to chose between a multi purpose commander, or a battle-oriented terminator. Moreover, I would exclude some of his abilities in termie armor (...like orbital bombardment, though I cannot think of a reason that this would be fluff-wise justified)
This way, terminator armor would not be the obvious one-way choice.
Will every race have their own bikers?
And will Chaos have Dreadclaws so that Chaos Space Marine and other units and vehicles like Chaos Dreadnoughts can deep strike like Space Marines?

The necron lord with access to all artifacts ,not just 3 (4 if we include phylactery)......is possible ?
i mean you could put all those ability i a new hotkey button (like many other race commander when you want to buy wargear)for use them all....And for balance all artifact consume energy, the forbidden archive must be in battlefield for use then ,if not present all artifact are disabled, and for each artifact upgrade the rest will be more priced.
Tell yess TvT please gentlemen's ....for the next patch ....I am not asking a new unit creation or the pylon and phalanx at the same time...yesyesyesyesyesyesyesyesyes ^^

Sorry Tomb Deathwing that will not happen, and neither alot of stuff that was listed here after i anounced that UA will be revamped for the sake of balance.
So wait until i release the next patch and then post suggestions or bugs, there is no reason to post thyem right now, like the squigot health bug someone mentioned a few post back, im already revamping all units so there is no reason to post the problem here, also one guy wanted some unit with less HP or to do less damage. that is also ignored cause im already changing ALL units to create a balanced game.
Hey i just want to admit that i've finally managed to get the Tomb Stalker in-game with all necessary animations. I've uploaded some screnies over there on moddb (I am too lazy to upload them again to my imageshack acc too :P) and sent already the necessary data to finally implement it into the 2012 release over to Cylarne. If he returns you might ask him about the progress if you want. I am on my side from tomorrow absent for 7 days till the 4th of October so don't wonder if don't respond to any PM or other kind of communication ^^.

EDIT NUMBAH TEW. Hanov, your idea of balanced is not the same as EVERYONES, please come up with a team of testers OR SOMETHING LIKE THEM to make sure THEY agree with you before patch releasing. Alot of the units on MULTIPLE races are overpowered now. WTF?
So as the message in bold states, college is now a lot easier and less time consuming as I no longer have to struggle to pass my classes with A's. My semester there right now is done and I'm on brake right now.
About the new goodies...
So while the OE status of the Tomb Stalker is almost perfect and damn awesome with some "OMG" moments in there (especially the sync kill), there are LITTLE to FEW glitches here and there (but the model is very well done and not created in vain, all thanks to Cosmocrat greatly), the Tomb Stalker has now proven to be my favorite Necron elite vehicle dude...With of course my code which made it more awesome than awesome.
And now with the Reaver Titan in there, with no glitches what soever except that Laser weapon, the Imperium can now produce two different kinds of titans and a huge quantity by the way all thanks to our never before seen relic resource, featuring an all new expansion to our epic mod.
All in all, I have no idea why Cosmocrat made the Revenant Titan so sucky, his work demonstrated to me again that his 3D models are tremendous! The work of the Tomb Stalker and the Reaver Titan made me wonder why the heck the Revenant Titan cannot be so polished????!!!!????!!!! So I'm all confused. Some day I'll order Hanov around to put in the Apoc. mod a new and improved Revenant Titan for the crowd.
Next unit(s) on the list of Public Release coming very soon: I am going to have Hanov add in the Ork Stompa 100% 3D coded by MonkeyXXL and Andrei so the whole entire removal of new units will not be a COMPLETE loss. I feel that the Orks need more love, I hardly ever improve them, not even the ALPHA mods, so this goes out to you crowd. +1 more titan for epicness.
Please be patient for more units! The Apocalypse Mod Team will release them to the public whenever we want to.

@ Cylarne: A-A-AWESOME! Titans! Titans everywhere! But now seriously, this only leaves a few things for me to comment:
1st: Tomb Stalker and Reaver... (drools... I picture the Tomb Stalker's function in game similar to the Brass Scorpion's, but until it's released it's up to my imagination)
2nd: I always thought that the Revenant was... lacking some polishing, but it things can always get better! Remember the old Warhound and its walking animation? (which brings to me that the actual Warhound has it's footsteps un-aligned...)
3rd: NEW STOMPA! I feel like a kid in christmas!Gotta love that smilie.

well about that i have been working like a monkey on drugs, and the new gameplay will be awesome, each race will have 3 production buildings, (+static defences super weapons etc...) and 1 upgrade building, each productions building will be able to make:
Raider squads
Riots "
Assault "
Artillery "
Skirmisher "
and some buildings transports or scouts squads.
So every building will be able to buils 1 squad of each kind, but each building will have diferent gameplay, and each building is more expencive to build than the other. for example the tau:
Tau have ranged forces in the prymary building (the cheaper one)
Have meele oriented units in the secondary building (same price as the prymary)
and Vehicles in the last building (this one is expencive)
all races start with a command center (were you can summon only workers and in some races upgrades) and the commander.
So you can play starting with the melee oriented building, (tau are not that good in melee but can help agains other primary ranger races like eldar, IG, etc...)
Or you can start playing with vehicles!!!
Why? cause there will be no longer Tiers, yes no more tiers or research to build any kind of unit, you can start by building a titan, (but you will lose the game if you do that)
how can this be balanced? easy, cost.
stronger units are more expencive and take more time to build, so in general is good to start with cheap units.
if you start and try to build a titan, you enemy will scout you, see no defences , and kill you using just raiders and his commander. even if you manage to survive and build the titan (is your enemy is a noob) your enemy must have alot more economy, units, and territory, so you will mostly lose (titans are countered just like any other unit) So there is no game ender unit.
This will be finished in november so be patient.
Hope you are happy cause this system will remove little to none units from the game, BUT AIR units WILL be removed.

@Hanov: I am very curious (and highly optimistic) as to witness what these changes would imply to the overall gameplay. My only concern is to avoid making all races the same, with only models and statistics to differentiate them. I encourage changes towards the direction where all races maintain their role and their distinct character they meant to have.
like idea of "will remove little to none units from the game" and to remove air units permanently.
i think tau have most of buildings 6-7??'little to much,wondering what buildings you removed from chaos,no tiers hmmh,will see,and hanov can you simplify turest so taht we dont have to click for upgrade 1,upgrade 2,upgrade to missil turet,will you only put upgrade to missile turet??and will you will make as in dow 2 one click upgrade,for example slugga boys,i think they have claws upgrade and are 8 squads member,so that we dont have to click 8 times to upgrade all 8 squads members with claws instead we click once and all 8 memebrs are upgraded with claws.

Now for real, that sounds like a lot of changes, hopefully this will solve the OP units/weapons issues out there.
Also (at least I understood incorrectly), now every race will have more unit variety than before? I got a bit confused with that.
If there will be in fact, a unit cut, can I ask which units will remain for a couple of races? Any race, to get me a better idea.
Extra note: Everyone will have to get used to the concept of servitors and Boreale capturing posts and marines not, that will be odd.
@Gambit: In the case of SM I didn't feel as such a bad plan, but I was thinking about it and... Tau. Earth Caste Drones. Capturing Posts. Didn't see that coming. They better be a bit faster now.
But in my case, I care mostly that the game's is fun to play, even if it doesn't make that much sense from a logical point of view. If it makes sense it's even better of course.

@PsykoTenshi: I agree with you. I do not like (at all) the idea of servitors and commanders capturing SPs. For most races, infantry is responsible for achieving goals...
well, I like the fact that you have to click 8 times for 8 claws. because, well, what if you want only 3 of those claws on the squad? or 3 flame throwers and 2 plasma guns for something else? like that it wouldn't be possible to get "mixed" squads.

Builders and commander capturing points make the game so you have to cover more this units but if noone likes the idea thats easy to revert.
Uh, ok, Hanov, what's going on here, I thought you were just removing some units, balancing the rest, and totally make this thing balanced. I didn't say totally revamp it in a way of making it totally abnormal compared to the basic idea of the Apocalypse gameplay.
