But it hasn't been done for DoW as far as I know. Could be done if someone puts enough effort into it.

But if a key doesn't work for you in DoW, a good idea is to change the input language to "United States - International" or similar.
I'm glad you brought this up. A few days ago within the ALPHA mod, I have witnessed that the Damocles unit within the Space Marine ai causes a Fatal AI error whenever created. The problem is STILL not fixed and I even went over this with Thudmeizer. The stuff you saw on Moddb is a part of the ALPHA mod, none of it is in 1.62.542 unfortunately.
@ wifier: I don't want to pop your bubble but it's because the Reaver titan is not planned to be in-game until the 2012 grand release as far as I know (I am NOT a dev team representative, they may want to release it earlier, I don't know)
My guess is that with new background you mean a new main menu background. I think that's also for the 2012 release too.
I'm quite sure of reading that Cylarne will give hanov access to an improved ork stompa for his next release (again, Cylarne has the final word).
The .542 only includes unit status changes by hanov, not new units (someone correct me if I'm wrong). Still it's awesome .

I'm trying to add new winconditions to UA but they don't show up on the Game rules list. Is there a specific method to do this? Fow now, I found that I can edit an existing condition I don't use but still I would prefer to add my own without replacing any.

Today I had the most uncomfortable CTD, on an online game where my base was getting raped by Stealthsuits (I'm my opinion their fusion blaster upgrade is quite OP, once targeted, my buildings were gone in around 3 seconds. Not even 4 predators with lascannons can do that.) Anyways, I'm bringing you the first bit of today's error log because it's the only thing that could be of use I got left (I ran SS after this, sorry). The exe named "Soulstormnocd" is because I bought it through an online store, therefore I have no disk. It came named that way.

Unzip it both and place the contents on your Soulstorm directory, overwriting any other files. Done! You now should have nice, colorful banners for SoB and DE.
If my minipatch/fix is no longer online, it's because no one downloaded it on 7 days. I'll download it myself once per week for a while though.
Brotip: You can have even more races for XP2/XXP1. Just install the Steel Legion mod for soulstorm (after looking around the web for a while I found a link to it on MobDB):

Please note that if you add SL and BT, you will only able to play UA online with others who also added them.
A couple of notes on adding Steel Legion and Black Templars:
While they (logically) won't have titans nor nukes both are powerful rivals because of how their units are configured.
Both SL and BT units can damage ALL TYPES OF ARMOR with any weapon (for example, non-upgraded Steel Legion soldiers can eventually take down an HQ in UA, while Chaos Marines with bolters can't).
Be aware of Steel Legion's armored vehicles. They are all a bit OP, specially the Laser destroyer (massive range) and the Thunderer (huge damage). Their Stormblade is also way more powerful than IG's.
On the Black Templars' case, they're more balanced, but I'd avoid sending Commander Boreale (and maybe other SM commanders as well) against them since their "Avenging Rage" feature affects Boreale as well, and will most probably send him to his death.
Also, the Black Templars will still have white flags on their captured Relics and Critical Locations.

Yay scarabs' hordes of over 9000 scarabs have the lead for now IMO. And how exactly you have trouble installing the mod from a compressed file? I do as instructed and works every time.

@PsykoTenshi As I said you..Stealthuits (and in general Tau) need that damage (furthermore I upgraded them, so it's not OP)...They're so fragile..You should have made Librarian instead of turrets u.u
@Arkagunner328: There are yet two new Stompa Models of whom mine is the less developed yet. We use a more advanced Stompa anyway but it's still more a less a placeholder before i manage to pull mine off. Finally i want to answer your question about installers: The Grand 2012 will have an installer while patches will not as making installer packages is really time consuming and doing that for every tiny patch would be way out i guess.
In addition to that we would have to do an installer for the patches which deletes all the old outdated stuff and places the new stuff in. Simple overriding does often more damage then completely deleting the folder itself because there might have remained some "Copy&Paste garbage". Deleting the old Apocalypse Folder PLUS .module file always went problemless for me as you have to be sure that you have the latest 1.2 Soulstorm Patch applied.

First off I wanna say I love the ultimate Apocalypse mod. My question is can it do Lan? Whenever we try it it says data not sync. Data does not match. And it kicks anyone who is not the host. (this is for xp2). Xp1 and xxp1 say fatal scar error whenever we try it Lan. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wow i must say i am astonished by this mod, it is apocalyptic
The only issue i have though, which i dont know if anyone else experience, is that i keep getting Splish-Splosh sound which follows me from the intro video and to the in-game. It also occurs in the vannilla soulstorm after some time.
I simply have no idea what it could be.

@ Darknite: Corncobman's fun mod has optional gridkeys. Maybe someone did something similar for UA, but I haven't seen it yet.

Hi guys, I've been playing around with apocalypse a while now and I decided to start campaign. And I hate Soulstorm's campaign mode. What was relic thinking when the buildings you build aren't available next time you fight in that territory. I hate having to build up again every single battle.
So, is there a trainer around that works with Apocalypse mod? DOW engine is 1.2. I got it through steam, not retail.
Also on a sidenote, whenever i close the game I get soulstorm.exe - Application Error.
The instruction at 0x7710e3fb referenced memory at 0x0000000000. The memory could not be written
error. Has that happened to anyone?

I got an Ai Fatal error in UA 1.62.542 with tyranids mod 0.45SS and IDH beta2 ss mod and the improved mappack for ua. I have Soulstorm patched to 1.2, but i wonder if you can use makatas bugfix mod?
I was playing UA xp2 with all my settings on low except FX which was on medium and sound channel on medium, and resolution 800x600 16 bit, because it stutters alot and still does and i still get that splish splosh sound.
The next thing is that i played skirmish, the 8 player map Thur'abis Plateu from the UA soulstorm improved mappack with the following rules turned on: AI highsepeed, Apocalypse, Advanced overwatch, change players, extermination, game timer, heroes, extreme battles, disable fog, starting army and titan wars.
The game was set to hard difficulty, starting ressources: quick start, lock teams, fixed position, normal game speed, ressource sharing: yes and ressource rate high.
I choose to set my own teams, i choose the daemonhunters and my teammates in the following order, SM, IG and Eldar, and all my enemies were necrons.

I can't solve any AI errors, but it seems that the SM are causing it, with the 2nd commander hp research. Didn't that happen before sometime? I thought it did.

The Soulgrinder looks fearsome as it actually grinds souls, even without textures.
A concern? My guess is that the Plaguebearer model looks too like it's on progress yet (at least that's gonna be compensated by incredibly awesome textures). Anyways, I'm not who to complain of anything on this mod.

I meant that I've played online with Yay scarabs and I've confirmed it's a true scarab maniac, once for example, our favorite scarab lover had around 150 scarabs (not counting that each is actually three tiny buggers) if I remember right. And the population limit was set to 20, so I think that almost all of Yay scarabs' army was actually just attack scarabs.
And let's take in count that you started this "sexy scarab" issue anyways... ¬¬

I said that now I've got a DoW capable computer. Well, more like a 800x600 16bit, minimum settings DoW capable computer. And laggy too(in singleplayer, didn't even try online).
