    Uh, 1.62.53 patch (and just patch) will be released whenever I improve (and yes improve) the maps that are kinda glitchy, like for example, in one area, troops get stuck on mountains and such, or the Daturias Pits totally blocks troop movement when they are going through pillars, also add in critical locations and relics to the maps which contains none. I was also thinking about adding another map while at it.

    New units requires A LOT of time. Patience.

    We're talking about making a brand new model from scratch, then texture it, then animate it, then rig it to OE, Per-fect it for release in OE, code it, and make it in game. We're talking months of work for one new unit.

    1.62.53 might be the most units you'll see in the patches ever.

    cylarne 04 i think about ss legions mod latest version.There are new imperial guard,eldar units and a lot upgrades.Maybe you can take from that mod new units?sorry for worst speaking.

    Just a tiny bug...

    -Scout Marine Squad plasma gun upgrade does not show on squad members (shotguns and sniper rifles work normally).

    -There are two "AI Donation" win condition game rules, which is confusing. (Is there really a difference between them?)
    -Changing between mods does not keep previous settings (but be mindful, that could possibly be addressed to my faulty configuration).
    I also experience crashes when TAU are AI opponents (hard). Cannot be more specific, since I end up to the Desktop after each crash (which is obviously is unuseful!)

    I like (A LOT) the picture of the Void Dragon provided by Cylarne_04, but I think Andrei335's approach is very close to that - provided thew textures match it.

    @Gambit: Please install the patch. It will fix your Tau crash problem and more likely everything else.

    To be honest though, I like Cosmo's model better even though untextured, it looks more of an evil C'tan.

    Suggestion: Would it be possible to use some sound and voice files from the DOWII:Retribution, concerning Tyranids?

    -Great Unclean One does not follow experience advancement the when the Heroes win condition is enabled (instead, it retains its original stats).

    This is an awesome mod! Keep up the good work!

    These are the problems that I have encountered during my play. I don't know if it's just me or the bugginess of the mod.

    1) The win condition "Titan Wars" is broken. When I check this condition, the game screen immediately gives a "fatal error" message and is paused. Strangely the game is still playable, but then I have to face an enemy titan and I don't have my own! Unfair! And the game won't end, even if I destroy every enemy.

    2) The Dark Eldar race is buggy. The tooltip for the Soulstorm ability is a jumbled mess. It says something about the Tau Arka Cannon and speeding up the Ork production. Huh? And when I cast the Soulstorm, it actually functions like a Dark Foundry that produces vehicles. Huh again? Is it supposed to be like this in the UA mod?

    3) I also have the problem of the Daemon Hunter headless scholar in Army Painter like some people mentioned here. The head is OK in actual games though.

    I hope that can be a little contribution of mine to the mod. I'm looking forward to more updates!

    Titan Wars win condition bugged? I haven't ever touched it (Except adding the XP2 modifiers). Honest, if it worked before, then it should work now, but I'kk have a look and fix it for 1.62.53 which should be released soon.

    Glad to see that my little bug report has received some attention. It feels good to have done something for this legendary mod!

    A word for the creators of the mod: please don't rush it out, make it stable. Ultimate Apocalypse is a great piece of work; it just has a lot of rough edges. It rekindles my interest in the old DOW game like "Rekindle Rage"!

    After the quite long abstinence from posting here i just want to show you off the newest pics of the void dragon which i posted this time on moddb because of it's comfortableness ^^.

    I appreciate any comments on this as usual and already keen on what you're thinking about the pics ;-).

    Anyway i am not available yet in the way i would like it as the Uni is still occuping me, so don't expect that much news from me but i am glad that the Apocalypse community has grown that persistantly! And i am proud that the Apocalypse Mod Team was even able to bring DoW back to life for some of you who though that it was plain dead.

    So keep on posting here and remember that we're always looking for cool new artwork for possible new units! As even Gamesworkshop hadn't thought in the scale as we did thus we lack some Units fitting for certain purposes ;-). So if you have any wish for a unit you really EVAR wanted to come into DoW then it's now your time to get out of your cover and actually get...shot, but by a bullet of awesomenesauce of course! So feel free to post any kind of artwork in any form you of which you think it would be a great and needed addition to the Apocalypse Mod itself. Don't be shy as we check EVERY contribution for it's possibilities.

    Yep i did attempted to reduce the Poly count and i must say the possibilites are awesome! It would be literally possible to have the ENTIRE detail of the 150K Model stored as map and then used onto a low polygon model of maybe 3K Poly but unfortunately not with this engine . I yet struggle on how actually getting that thingy from Mudbox to DoW without a ridicolous loss of detail. Once that is completed i'll contact Andrei as i don't want to hand over a glitchy and possible not exportable model which he would work on in vain. ^^

    @jusissigimeliai: I approve your idea! I guess that's one of the easy parts for Mr. Cylarne doing that ^^.

    EDIT:

    I jsut had some ideas of how the Void Dragon abilites could look like! Here's the copy of the text i wrote on moddb too

    The Void Dragon has ultimate control over EVERY machine not using Warp technology as power source. By fluff it's said that he can repair anything instantly by solely touching it! On the other hand he can also control every piece of technology thus i would guess that he might have:

    "Touch of the Void Dragon: Restores Health of ANY Allied targeted Vehicle instantly"

    "Wrath of the Machine God: Instantly destroyes ANY targeted Vehicle"

    and/or

    "Spirit of the Dragon: Take control over ANY enemy Vehicle! But get sure it stays within the Dragons control radius! (If it's possible code wise else you'll loose control after a period of time)"

    and last but not least

    "Will of the Dragon: Revives ANY targeted revivable vehicle/infantry unit (Also broken Tomb Spyders and stuff which is not affected by vanilla necron lord resurrection orb)

    On top he get's also the toughest standart attacks as he's beeing the strongest of all C'Tan gods thus he shall bring doom upon the poor organic sentients!

    Judging by the abilities stated above, I'd call this quite unfair. I mean, he's able to do shitloads of damage to enemy vehicles and resurect allied ones, and on top of that, he's super efficient against infantry. And I'm not convinced that he's the strongest of the C'tan. It is stated that he AND the Nightbringer are the physicaly strongest of the C'tan.

    This is how I would make the C'tan:

    Nightbringer: Strong against infantry with good splash damage and powerfull anti-infantry abilities.
    Void Dragon: Strong against vehicle with little to no splash damage and powerfull anti-vehicle abilities.
    Outsider: Good at destroying morale and generaly mess with the opponents units. Should be fairly strong, but not as strong as the NB or the VD
    Deciever: Dunno... He should be like the Outsider, but more subtle, with very little damage, very little health, and much more annoying abilities.

    @jusissigimeliai: I approve your idea! I guess that's one of the easy parts for Mr. Cylarne doing that ^^.
    Alright, now I just HAVE to give you my ideas on this. It is unaceptable that the orks should have a Leman Russ with less modifications than the Imperial Guard! How about being able to change the front bolter with a zzap gun, and the side weapons with burnas, rokkit launchas, or finaly mega blastas. Maybe you could put a grot with a twin-linked dakka gun as a replacement for the pinte-mounted heavy stubber. It would be like an actual Leman Russ, but orkified!

    Once again as always, Rytlock makes some very good points. Orkify the Leman Russ in every possible way I shal, but I still think the Night Bringer should be anti-vehicle too. Even though not as psychotic as the C'tan god VD.

    It's true that the IG leman russ is stronger, but come on, do you really think that the uncreative IG should have more weapon options then the crafty orks? I mean, they are famous for their ramshakle constructs and weapons, so how hard can it be for them to, say, exchange the standard sidemounted bolters with some burnas or mega blastas? Or is it that improbable that they'd put a grot with a gun as a pintle-mounted heavy stubber?

    I still think the Night Bringer should be anti-vehicle too.
    I never said that he should be bad against vehicles, but that he should be very good against infantry and fairly good against vehicles. But it's your call.

    Btw, how do you plan to field the C'tan? should the Necron lord be able to transform so that you can only have not at a time, or make it so that you can build them, but still only being able to use one at a time? Or will you do like you do now, and allow all C'tan to be used at once? With the other races current units, I'd say it would be quite unfair if you use the last one. 4 C'tan, 1 Doomsday Phalanx, 1 Aeonic Orb and a few regular monoliths would be able to destroy any enemy. Unless said enemy would be given even better units. Like Warlord Titans.

    cylarne 04 how you thing about ss legions 0,92 mod.there are awesome units and upgrades but to big buildings.Can you take chaos,imperial guard,tau,eldar,space marines all units and upgrades and put in. then apocalypse will be perfect! IS IT POSIBLE?

    I've been following this mod for awhile..

    Was just curious if SoB are ever going to get a true titan? Last I checked, Titan Wars win condition gives a Fatal SCAR error if SoB is in game.

    Also, how is the Reaver Titan? I wants my IG to have moar firepower besides a warhound..

    1.62.53 will be coming out this week! All maps are done and more fixes will be fixed without more bugs included like the ugly, terrible 1.62.52 release.

    I agree with you at 95%, but oo patches can be released in a more stable way over time and I like 1000-2000 people testing the mod at later releases. Reporting bugs at a more current version than the old, then I fix them up and the crowd gets happier the later the releases go. My goal is to make this project clean I assure you, and I'll try my best to achieve that. Even though it will take a long time.
