    Hey peeps,

    i am sorry if some of you got somehow disappointed by the content of the patch as we might haven't made it clear enought, that this patch should only be a bugfixing one (I think we've got the victim of our own success didn't we? Releasing stuff in patches like we did before made people thinking it's a standart ^^). But I must say that you have to wait patiently for new Units as i am responsible to make some but i am currently busy as hell working on my examinations (Already learning all day for a month and a half) and for Units from other Modteams we'll have to ask for permission first which also needs some decent time depending on how fast the other team responds to our pm's. And no we don't simply take the work of others and ask lateron for permission as doing this is highly disgraced by other modders for obvious reasons. Not talking about the problem with limited build slots in buildings.

    But to feed ya i can tell ya what is laying around here on my PC like almost completed models or things which are only planned yet (with some minor progress). So the WIP-Stuff which kinda likely might appear in future releases are:

    Eldar Phantom Titan (Model by Shingouki needs tweaking)

    Eldar Cobra Super-Heavy Tank (Only base file was created yet)

    Necron Void Dragon (First version done but needs some rework as the first version refuses to get exported yet cuz of mesh flaws)

    Eldar Warlock Titan (Model by Shingouki needs tweaking)

    Imperial Reaver Titan (Very Basic version done and in-game-ready)

    Imperial Warlord Titan (Some basic work done by demetrius so no in-game ready content, i can't speak for Winterdynes old Warlord meshes)

    Grey Knights Nemesis Dreadknight (Model is done by Demetrius but needs game optimization cought* ...Polycount... cought*)

    Imperial Guard Elysian Drop/Storm Troopers (Models by Whiteshield need some work to get in-game)

    Necron Tomb-Stalker (Needs to be completely reworked by me in order to get in-game)

    XV-202 "Mako" Battlesuit (Everything regarding modelling is done and i actually started to make necessary animations and OE stuff for it)

    XV-9 "Hazard" Suit (Is completely done and in-game but suffers some glitches which i want to correct first before we release it)

    This all and not to mention possible tweakings of old models, new buildings and all the stuff!
    This needs huge amounts of time and i hope that you can understand why we can't release new units in EVERY tiny patch though i must admit it would be awesome but as i am the only modeller in the mod team my time is limited. Thus i am always watching out for help in form of new modellers! For those of you who are interested but don't want to spent huge amounts of cash for the CAD Programs i advise you trying out "Blender","GMax" and "Milkshape" which are free of charge and you can make some models which can be used by 3DS MAX users to actually import them to DoW.

    The best way getting a unit into DoW is making it yourself ! So start modelling today! Believe me it's uber awesome if you actually figure out how to use the programs properly! Actually the most powerful lego set available xD.

    So i hope that's enough text to make the situation we're all in as clear as possible ^^.

    they're uber powered...They can be summoned into fog of war...They cost almost anything...If you summon 2 in the enemy base right close to the barrack it gets destroyed...Early game it can costs you the match...I'm talking about playing versus humans and not the AI keep in mind

    Thanks for the heads up I was very disappointed when this patch hadnt any new unit. I know a few posts by cylarne and few others it would have. Keep up the hardwork and it seems you need someone helping you if you have work to do in RL then itll take 4x longer to finish if at all. Ive seen mods fail just because of RL work or ambitions.

    I know a thing or two about modelling. Actually modelling is the most painless part of making DoW units. Texturing, animating and conversion+OE+AE work is what put me off from it. You can still have my Tau Swordfish Superheavy Tank if you want it, but you know it's nothing other than a Hammerhead with some crappy stuff attached to it.

    And I could get around to finishing my half-done model of the Necronsoft Xbox Tank because as you can see it's not much work.

    When i played with orks,the Lootas are alot bigger than other orks,yet their damage is so low.They should be shrinked to size of a flash git and be alot stronger than them.
    And every time i choose Chapter Master in Army painter,he is shown with different gear.I think they should add those gears,like dual-lightning claws,relic blade,jump packs and other gears shown there.The Chapter Master Honour guard veterans should be produced like squads in Ultimate building,like race honour guards and the Chapter master himself.Then he would be so badass and had a gear for every situation.
    PS:Chaos should have their own Banner carriers(like Space Marines having their own),each one carrying the banner of the single chaos god with their own benefits,like:

    Banner of Khorne:increased damage
    Banner of Nurgle:increased health
    Banner of Tzeentch:Increased morale
    Banner of Slaneesh:Increased speed
    Banner of Chaos Undivided:Increased effectiveness in gear,spells and passive abilities.

    @Cosmocrat: So, in regards to things like the Reaver that are nearly ready, when do you think we'll see some basic implementation? I'm just excited that my IoM races will finally have something awesome besides a Warhound!

    Also, a question regarding adding races: If I wanted to attach another mod to Ultimate Apocalypse for my personal enjoyment and slaughter, i.e. Witchhunters or Steel Legion, is it just as simple as adding that to the main module in the Soulstorm folder, or is there other coding I have to do? I started playing another mod involving Witchhunters and some stuff, and that is some epic work.. I'm not sure where I'd find a tutorial for it, but if someone could point me in the right direction that'd be perfect! Thanks guys.

    I posted this several pages ago. All you have to do is add the mod's module file name to the module file of Apocalypse as a required mod. For example, I added this to the XP2 module file.

    RequiredMod.6 = Steel_Legions_SS
    Go DeMarcus Ware!!!

    Spores are very, OP especially early-game..I suggest halving their damage, drastically reduce their damage against structures, reducing their armor and make them non-spawnable where you can't see..PLZ NERF THEM

    I don't think nerfing so many things at the same time is a good idea.

    @RevanFan: Thanks for the link. Steel Legion works awesomely against every faction except nids.. and probably IDH. I haven't tried IDH, but Tyranids crashes me about 15 minutes into a match.. god damn CTDs. Is there a witchhunters compatible with Soulstorm? I tried that as well, and it comes up all sorts of buggy.

    nids are amazing if you know how to play them or counter them....build your walls right and force them into a choke point and you can take them out with ease.

    @Count Bagatur + dowman : yes, is definitely possible. I mean, if the IG and all those other races can do it, why not the nids. However, why on earth would they be deepstriked? fluff-wise, they're not really the type to teleport here and there. Plus, why would they even bother? I mean, they nom on everything they see

    @pk1022 : I thought I was the only one that used walls in such a way nice to know I'm not alone.

    @Cosmo : That's a lot og gigantic models there, mate. If those Eldar titans ever reach completion I'll...I'll do something I don't usually do. Good luck on finishing them

    @demetrius : tormentor titan, almost finished? Hmm...interesting. I wonder though, how is it's walking animation? I always wanted to know how that thing walked

    @dowman : If I remember correctly, they Witch Hunters mod team went underground and (thus far) no one has received permission to integrate their mod with other...mods. I do agree with you though, if they SoB were replaced by the WH, it would make everything better (not to bash of the SoB of course...they'll burn me to ash if I did).

    Cylarne told me that the Steel Legion could be added in the distant future (meaning definitely not this year, but maybe several versions from now.) There's just no plans to add them soon.

    I think seeing a Witchhunters: Adepta Sororitas compatible with Soulstorm would be neat. I don't have DC installed, so I can't really use them..
    But the models in that thing are so gorgeous! That's what the SoB should've looked like from the beginning, lol.

    Correct. This is also stated on the Ultimate Apocalypse Resources thread (Which no one reads!).

    But I repeat, MIGHT. I MIGHT include the Witch Hunters. I'll see what do do in 2012 if I feel like it.

    To be quite honest, attaching Steel Legion to UA XP2 and playing against the other races, it's pretty balanced already.. SL units are too underpowered or overpowered against the normal units of SM, Tyranids, IDH, or Orks. They just need a better selection of vehicles such as the shadowsword.. and maybe the airstrip could be used to call down Aircraft? Or airstrikes or something? I don't know how that would all work, but it'd be pretty awesome.

    @Lleman : I have played that mod before, I do admit that it is as fun as heck to play but...to be fair, once they're included in this mod, they might be slightly redundant. I mean, the IG armor/vehicle choice is, simply put, ridiculous if, per chance they are included, I have no issues with it whatsoever (Hey, more races = more diversity = APOCALYPSE)

    Although, I'd prefer the WH over the SL

    latest patch:
    if the movie folder is not included inside the expansion pack folder then there is no movie on the intro. might be necessary to include the movie folder inside the expansion packs folder as well.

    on XP2 the Daemon Hunters scholars are missing their heads and assault terminators are arm-less.

    i have one huge problem with google search when i write ultimate apocalypse then results be just mod db.i think previous patch was realy better results be relicnews.can you fix this maybe this is bug

    I played with chaos, and noticed that:

    -Bloodthierster of Khorne is very weak compared to the other choices. I suggest hp regeneration to get tripled when in combat.

    I suggest another time to make tyranids spores weaker..They're uber-powered. Early game in multiplayer they can destroy barracks and other buildings easily. This will win you the game. I suggest halving their damage, reducing their damage against buildings and making them not able to spawn in fow

    Yes, btw, I do think the Tyranids should get some changes, like the Warrior and Ripper Swarm no cap unlimited. And of course the deepstrike out of sight range.

    @Googleness: Both expansions aren't really made for the campaign. XP1 screws it up as it is, and XP2 only adds new races, hense the campaign cannot add in those new races, because of the DOW Engine limits.

    I really can't fix that dude, even if I could. Those models are not within my possession.

    Game Crashing

    I don't know why it keeps crashing but every time I play the Mod the game just crashes for no reason during a Skirmish match. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Back from my 1 week vacation in Canada i finally tried out .63 patch its really nice, i read cosmocrats post it made no mention of any updates to the kustom stompa

    Also for the imperium minus ig in general how about using a statue of the emperor as the superstructure
