    Anyone else have a map called "Test"? It's blank and the game crashes if you try to use it.

    A wishlist from me.....it's not a modification , it's more like resource spending.

    Necrons....All his production come in power....I think the abilities should be included too..

    All Necron abilities, warriors teleport, monolith teleport , destroyers jump ,necron lord ,doomsday phalanx ,destroyer lord artifact abilities , aeonic orb abilities ...should spend energy for activate the abilities....and the superweapons each blast cost half of the upgrade activation..exp the necrons is 3000 ,well each blast 1500 or 1000 of energy.

    Now i think about it ..like dawn of war II , All abilities activation cost energy....All races abilities (commander abilities)should spend energy to activate them....the necron lord ,destroyer lord,phalanx and aeonic orb artifact should too

    Don't be Stingy people...plenty of resource we have when build enough generators and capture many points >( :nod:

    hehe I like to spend a lot LOL

    Tomb Deathwing:I realy disagree with you.Now all races almost balanced.Necrons are fighting with abilities so thats why its so interesting to play with them.Btw necron mass resurection from energy beacon already cost.If necron abilities would cost than necron economy would be destroyed by abilities.I think now they are balanced.

    Its only my opinion.

    Uh that is the test map from the Tyranid mod. If it doesn't work, I'll get arid of it.

    If that is an Emperor Class Imperator Titan, how in the ruddy hell are you going to slot that into the game? The thing's massive! Along with that there will be pathing issues, camera restrictions, and who knows what else.

    Always thought about a building like that, but perhaps only repairing vehicles that are in it's range, as I can't see how the building would repair other buildings just because they are close.

    The idea of builders automatically repairing would be great, but it would take out allot of human interaction and control. Perhaps creating a Repair Pilot Mode button, which the player can select if he wishes for the builders to go around repairing automatically.

    But even then I feel this would be a really hard thing to apply to the game... But we will see what a staff member thinks toward the subject.

    You mean like C&C 3 saga...the war factory and airports where you create vehicles and airships have repair drones wandering around the structures who automatically repair near damaged vehicles...interesting.

    Ah, that seems nice to me! Having a button that allows you to make a builder unit automatically go and repair any buildings within a certain radius around itself. This is something that can come in handy in a tight situation were you have to command your front lines and don't have time to command any builder units around but still need them. lol
    Also considering the fact that the AI is much faster than a human player... the AI can repair all buildings, take points all across the map, wage war on the front lines and purchase lots of units and researches... all at once!!! (that's what it seems like to me though) No human player can do that. In which case this would grant human players a bit faster control like the ai, though still nothing in comparison.
    Yet unfortunately I donnot know wether this would in any case be possible to do.
    So I like it, but do the rest as well?

    That's what i love about SCV's in Starcraft. Hit auto-repair and give them waypoints and they'll wander back and forth fixing anything they pass that needs fixed.

    Another idea to do with the repair concept, could make a new building called the "vehicle repair center". You could garrison any vehicle and over a designated period of time the vehicle would pop out with full health (similar effect can be seen with imperial guard troops garrisoning without the pop out)

    Marines in the fluff come back from their time in the deathwatch and continue to wear the silver shoulder guard and are able to use the ammunition they got when working for the Ordos Xenos

    Alright everyone see how its JANUARY now guys? Now is not the time to make comments about the grand release; being released. If you have a bug to report or an idea of something to add to the grand release (that you made up not from another mod) it would be much appreciated. Its not like asking a game company OH WHEN IS THE RELEASE DATE?!?!? Its just a small group of talented individuals who are working with the community to make something unique and awe-inspiring. That takes time. We have been given a rough release timeframe for the grand release. If things go according to plan we could hope to see the grand release in the first half of this year ( COMPLETELY SPECULATIVE, IM NOT PART OF THE TEAM ). Before the grand release will be released to us, the public, the dev's will go through every meticulous detail of the game to make it "perfection". When you are making a practically new game bugs are bound to occur, its up to us to find them, and the dev's to fix them. If you like the progress of the mod, and would like to see some new content (perhaps even yours!) you could make a donation to the mod team. The mod is free after all, and its not like the dev's are getting paid to do it.

    TL;DR
    Dont ask when the mod is being released, dev said first half of 2012 HOPEFULLY so just tell yourself june or some shit.
    Report bugs, we like that.
    Original ideas are always considered (dont ask for other mods ideas, we need their permission).
    This mod is awesome, and free! Make a donation if you'd like.

    If anyone IS disappointed with the fact that this isn't the grand release, they should really think again. Download this version, see whats good and whats a little iffy, with the iffy being fixed in the near future (patching coming up VERY soon, hopefully we will see it within a week). Once you see how much fun it is, you will stop thinking "oh ill wait till the grand release". And instead you'll be thinking "OH MAN I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT PATCH EVEN IF ITS NOT THAT GAME CHANGING"!!!!

    Hey, glad to see this community is thriving very nicely. I just came about this mod, and I have to say, it's probably the best one out there. I like how the dev's combined all a lot of elements and beautiful models from other mods like FoK, and added new abilities and characters to the Tyranids and Daemonhunters mods. Really fantastic work!

    I have a few questions and a few minor fixes I think need to be made (if this isn't the right place, or if you are already aware of these, I apologize in advance)

    Daemonettes have a lowercase letter in their army builder name.
    The field medic used the guard textures from FoK, and the other guardsmen don't.
    The Tau Swordfish doesn't appear in army builder.
    Sometimes the Tyranid Carnifexes don't attack enemies.

    Once again, sorry if you already know about these minor bugs, and I'm sure they'll be fixed in the full release, but as Chaosbringer said, I wouldn't want to be disappointed and see a few minor details missing. I haven't seen anyone talking about it, but does anyone know if they're adding Bio Titans and Valkyries/Vendettas? I would love to see those ingame, and I don't feel like the Trygon makes an appropriate titan for the Tyranids. Thanks for your help all!

    Predalienator well if you check the previous page you will see the imperator emperor titan, you never know whats lurking in the UA basement

    Techpriest thanks for the bugs man im sure they will be addressed in the grand release. As for the tyranids, a couple of ppl have brought up a titan for the tyranids, again, you never know whats lurking in the UA basement i noticed playing against the tyranids just then that you can have 2 trygons (mayb more i dunno i dont play them). Another person on MODDB said something along the lines of "make a tyanid titan so they can fight other titans instead of just swarming". My response to that is : DONT LIKE SWARMS? DONT PLAY TYRANID! Thats what they are all about lol. We would all like to see an abundance of units for all the races but it obviously takes time. Thanks for the suggestions

    While i'm sure i'm as eager for the grand release as anyone else i have to say that if you're not playing this mod you're losing out. Even with some bugs (and horrible Daemonettes. Sorry, but i just hate them) it's way better than the normal game.

    Ha2 ok,oh and you guys must include PsyokoTenshi's tutorial in the front page of this thread. It really helped solve crashing issues due to SOulstorm needing more than 2gb RAM.

    Hi, I'd like to complement you on this mod, the new units for all sides are outstanding and the way you have included the Tyranid and DH is great. I usually play IG and have noticed that the IG superheavy units such as the Baneblade, Shadowsword and Warhound titan cost no vehicle or unit cap to build. I must admit I haven't checked the other armies to see if it is the same for them. I can understand if this is deliberate (bigger units in bigger battles), but I always liked the idea of having a trade-off between building a few big units or lots of smaller ones. In my mind building up a full sized army, then adding three superheavies and a titan for free (in terms of cap) is a bit over the top. Just my two bits worth. Again, congrats on a great mod.

    Hilux317 I can see your point, however putting a cap to titans and super heavies would cause the vehicle cap to be.. well.. swallowed, a titan would have to be at least a 8 point unit, thus leaving you with very little vehicle wise. It is deliberate, its Ultimate Apocalypse, purpose made for all the enormous battles you can think of.

    racerking98 any map is fun, there are a couple of maps however that were made by the UA team. You can find them in the UA Maps link on the first page.
