There is also the pink icon bug for the chaos space marine with meltas
I have yet to confirm if other chaos marks give a bigger maximum cap (I don't play as Chaos very often), but Massive and Extreme Battles stack on each other on a random pattern (sometimes they do, sometimes they don't) yielding up to ridiculous caps. I've seen numbers such as 270 for both infantry and vehicle cap in earlier versions of UA.
As far as my knowledge gets, you're supposed to use either Massive or Extreme battles but not both at the same time.
PS: I got 40 cap with Extreme Battles only.
EDIT: I have to yet to test the Mark of Khorne but I'm quite sure that when using only Extreme Battles the cap will only go up to 40, regardless of the mark chosen.

I was playing as the Daemon Hunters and noticed that there are two different "Grey Knights" squads that can be built at the GK production building. One is from the IDH mod itself and the second is the SPESS MEHREEN unit in vanilla (Which is useless as it has less squadmembers and can't have heavy weapons IIRC). In addition, in the army painter there both a "Grey Knights Squad" and a "Grey Knights Battle Brothers" unit. Is that intentional?
Also the Scholars are messed up in the army painter.

The latest patch is 1.62.62, and it requires the complete mod, 1.62.59. 1.62.59 is wrapped in the spoiler on this thread below 1.62.62, and also found on MOD DB.

Hi all. I've just gotten back into soulstorm after seeing this mod, and have installed the UA and nids mod, but I'm having troubles installing the Inquisition daemonhunters mod.
When I download i, instead of getting an installer, I get a file called idh_beta2_ss.rar that my computer won’t read. Just wondering if I need to get something else before I can install this mod, or if anyone knows what file I should run it through so I can install i
hey commissar i had the same problem and i can help you! ok so heres what you do: first you need either 7zip or winRAR (which you can find via google) then use that to open the folder idh_beta2_ss.rar then extract it to your soulstorm directory (either C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War Soulstorm, or C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\dawn of war soulstorm) then you should be good to go

you need everything, and heres another option: extract the insides of the rar file with 7zip to a location, put them on a usb chip, then take to your other comp and put the files in your soulstorm directory. that should work
You may want to omit the Objective Points folder and .module file included with the Inquisition Daemonhunters mod, as it is a very old and therefore outdated version.
thanks psyko i forgot to mention that ALSO if i didnt make this clear already, dont just move the rar file into the soulstorm directory as it is encrypted and unreadable

Place inquisition_daemonhunt folder and .module on your Soulstorm directory. That's it, the mod is "installed" by doing simply that. If you got the Tyranid and UA mods in order, you should be able to run UA New Races now.

The key combination for the console in DoW is Ctrl + Shift + ~. I face quite an impediment to bring the console to view in most games (since practically all use that "~" key) because it is not present on the Spanish keyboard, which I use.
The solution I found was to use a quick toggle for the Windows Language Bar language (ugh, word redundancy).
Here's a step by step tutorial on how to do so but for non-localized (English) Windows XP. Since Microsoft seems to can't decide on a layout to keep on their OS', likely most menu names and such will differ from Windows Vista/7, but if you use some logic you should be able to figure out the "equivalent" on them.
Keepin' it nice and neat-Go to Control Panel.
-Open Regional and Language Options
-Select the Languages tab. In it, click the "Details..." button. A window labeled "Text Services and Input Languages" will appear.
-On the Installed services list, Click the "Add..." button. Select "English (United States)" and the "US" keyboard.
-Then click the "Key Settings..." button. A window labeled "Advanced Key Settings" will appear.
Now you have two options, you may choose the first, the second or both, as you prefer.
-To set the key combination to switch between active languages, select "Switch Between Input Languages" and click the "Change Key Sequence..." button. Yet another window will pop up and in it you will be able to set up which key combination.
-To use a specific key combination for each language, the process is similar but you must select two different combinations, one for each language. I recommend something easy to remember but that you won't hit by accident, like Left Alt+Shift+0 for English and Left Alt+Shift+9 for your native language.
P.S.: The '~' key is... *re-reads previous explanation. erases it* I'll make it even easier:
The problem arises when your keyboard doesn't have the same symbols. Like most localized keyboards for example. And ask anyone from France about their letters distribution on the keyboard...

I think I've found another little bug...
I played a skirmish Chaos (mark of Nurgle) vs. Tyranids. I disabled the superweapon but I've found that, during the battle, the nids used their superweapon on my base and destroyed almost everything... (but I won with the remaining army).

@ death_incarnet: What program are you using to extract the patch? Personally I recommend 7-zip, it doesn't have the habit of failing without an explanation and it's freeware.
I recall posting even more mirrors to the patch in UA's Mod DB page, but honestly I don't feel like manually searching dozens of pages of comments for the links (it would even be faster to re-upload them).
I am downloading both mirrors to ensure they are OK right now but my connection is acting dumb and not going over 50kbps for each download :I

I don't get what I'm looking at and I don't think I know how to help you out, except, you describe every part of your game in detail from second one to final result of the crash to desktop. Describe the map as well, the name of the map, two player map? Ok, difficulty, everything you can think of, and I can tell you stuff.
Unfortunately, errorlogs are next to useless for mod developers
If anything, the first line may of use (example: Soulstorm.exe caused an Access Violation in module WXPMod.dll at 0023:0cc333c8.), as it determines if it was a No Memory error, a Breakpoint, an Access Violation (there may be more types of errors) and on which module (.exe or .dll). The rest of the log else does little else but cluttering threads.
Which races you were playing (all of them, including AI players) is a potentially useful bit of information.
If by any chance there's any entry that looks like it can be related to a crash in your warnings.log, submitting it would be a good idea.
A CTD occured while I was playing Necrons(me) vs Orks(AI) in the map Apocalipse Day (6p)
Game speed was set to very slow and difficult was easy.
Win conditions were:
The game lasted for almost 15 minutes. I built four monolits (two of them were tier 1, one of them was tier 2 and the last one was upgrading to tier 3). I don't know exactly how many units I created, but my infantry cap was about 70-75/120 and the vehicle cap was 15-20/120 (I built some destroyers and 8 tomb spiders). I built a line of turrets in front of the base and conquered all the LPs and relics near my base.
After posting the message I played again the same map. This time Necron(me) vs Orks(AI1) vs Orks(AI2). The game crashed again after 15 minutes again.
I hope you can understand my English and that this description is detailed enough.
Hey guys, I installed everything, but now I can't activate the mod. It says "Failed to activate the requested game"
Your warnings.log file would include the needed info...
It is located in the SS folder.
@Gambit: I think that the warnings.log file has been overwritten when I played another skirmish. Next time I'll post it!
