No idea if it's the case, but during the last week/weekend LoL EU had terrible, terrible server difficulties. It took about 5 minutes at least to just login, 25 minutes at best to find a game and etc.

Decided to solo queue for the lulz. Oh my fucking god people are bad at this game. You'd think after, oh, 500 games for the average player with me, they'd learn how to play.
No kidding. I'm baffled by my own naivety each time I decide to play solo, like - what the hell was I expecting?!
First of all, I do not consider myself a good LoL player. Second, I only recently unlocked Dr. Mundo and today's game was the second time I played the character. The game ended when my team surrendered. My score was 2/3/2 with the team's only turret kill. Throughout the match, Lux and Cho'Gath kept bitching that I was a noob. Generally that doesn't bother me because I have no claims to being pro. In this case, however, it was extremely ironic. Both players were level 30. Cho'Gath ended up with 2/4/1 and Lux ended with 0/4/0. I guess I definitely wasn't as pro as they were.Originally Posted by Trizzdog

Wow, how can one die, moreover feed, as Lux. She's super OP.
You stay at range and spam AoEs. Once the Mejai's is stacked, they're dead...
Yeah, solo queue is horrible.

Assassin characters murder Lux. Not to mention all her abilities are skill shots, she's not easy to play and specific characters will counter her handedly.
I don't think I've ever heard Lux referred to as overpowered. That's impressive. There are some good Lux players out there that make it seem easy, sure, but that can be said for all the champions. Just because someone is good at being super-assassin Lux doesn't mean the character is overpowered. It means that summoner is talented.

You guys should learn to play Poppy, all those 'OP' casters become nothing when you catch them.
That's because Poppy is bullshit and belongs to a race that requires extermination.
That's because Poppy belongs to the same race as Veigar or Teemo or Kennen. Which is squa-

Poppy is one of the most underused characters in the game, she's powerful and hits like a nuke; yet people don't seem to play her. Strange considering you can usually take on 3 characters, kill one and walk out alive.
Yeah, because noone kites her to death, respects her nukes, or buys MR against her, eventhough her main source of damage is magic.
Ok, Lux might not be OP, but she has a range advantage over most champs, hurts a lot with AP, and her shield is really good for supporting the frontlines. Not to mention her bind which can let her get away from anyone who'd try to get close enough to her to lay down some hurt.

Its dodgable though. I play Lux a lot, and while I can hit a lot of people pretty easily, there will be a few out there who are smart and run unpredictably.
It's hard to dodge if she's running away from you... because that means you must run in a straight line towards her to catch up to her. Kassa is a bitch, though.
The things you listed about her advantages are, in most cases, mutually exclusive. If she uses her range advantage, she isn't putting in the real hurt because her passive is a major part of her damage output (and her spells are reasonably easy to dodge at longer range). If you want her to support with shield, her damage and disable utility goes down for a good portion of the game (binding scales in damage and cooldown with points). If you are saving bind defensively, you aren't contributing her disable/damage to killing the enemy squishies or saving your allies from assassins. If you want her to stack up a lot of AP, you are detracting from her support role by vice of taking farm from your real carries.
She is a powerful and versatile hero, sure, but her advantages aren't stackable in every situation. They do add up well in a major fight where your opponents are funneled for her full combo, though. It's hard to ensure that all your stuff hits most of the enemy team in a fight mid where everyone is scattered, for example, but if you catch them in a jungle... Singularity + Laser will hit their team like a truck, and binding + afterlaser will add another 2 passive procs. Added bonus that her shield will likely shield everyone on your team in that situation.

I liked how the next game ruined your win streak![]()

And then I roflstomped some hapless 5 people with Veigar.
I enjoy the game, although my problem is that I try to do more then I should. Also I suck because I don't stick to one character too much, jumping around which means I have to relearn how I play the character each game. One game I forgot I changed character(yea stupid...) Had Masteries, runes and items that in all respect SHOULD not be on that character.. heh.
I'm doing that when I feel like experimenting. And lazy.
Also, I just played a game with Warwick. Great fun, I might buy him.

god Vlad is going to be in every single game for this rotation.
Doesn't mean everyone will be owning with him. Last game we had a Vlad scrub the guy just spammed Pool of Blood non stop, even when he had less than 50% hp. Seriously, how dumb can people be?
#73
Yeah, Vlad is only bullshit in the hands of a competent player. Perfect time to be one, just to throw people off.
You do know bloodpool is % current health, not max health right?Doesn't mean everyone will be owning with him. Last game we had a Vlad scrub the guy just spammed Pool of Blood non stop, even when he had less than 50% hp. Seriously, how dumb can people be?
So it's actually dumber to use it at full hp than half hp...
The more you know.
Heh! When I started playing LoL, I unlocked Vladimir; the week after, Vladimir was free.
I unlocked Shen and the following week Shen was free.
I unlocked Xin Zhao and the following week Xin Zhao was free.
I unlocked Garen and the following week Garen was free.
I unlocked Dr. Mundo last week...
Yes, I noticed that a lot of people are absolutely awful Vladimir players. It is surprising because I found him one of the most intuitive characters to play, back when I started. A lot of people new to the champion attempt to open with Blood Pool which rarely ends well for them. Without any escape tools and lacking Force of Nature or other non-boot speed items, they get anchored right in front of the opponents. Of course, Vladimir is a blast to play so I can't blame anyone for trying him out.
Dear god they fixed Heimerdinger. At LAST his turrets work! The new ammo system takes a bit of getting used to, I still absent-mindedly place turrets down in advance without needing to anymore, but I love the fact I can get 2 turrets out in a hurry now. The ulti changes don't really affect his game much, and personally I wish it didn't speed up his grenade. You spend most of your time learning to aim it at normal speeds, then when you ulti you overshoot...

I've just got Badger Teemo. He might not be super viable, but is surely super fun in normal (I rarely play ranked). People want to kill you so bad, then you kite them into shrooms, hilarious.
Scampering around is fun!
If people keep posting their 'badass' stats, I fear I may have to channel Shoe to humble you all with his regular Karthas record.

There is nothing wrong with Feeder.Four deaths? What a feeder.

4/26/6 Malzahar??
Any tips w/ Corki? I just picked him up and I cant tell if I'm going to regret it after only 1 game. I did an AD build with him.
Interesting. League of Legends is soon adding a new game type:

I generally play arranged teams with a group of my real life friends (I'm pretty sure joining arranged queue generally results in facing other arranged, who are generally a bit better). From my experience, solo queue depends on luck so much of the time (ie. which team has the least bads), I've managed to win a 4v5 in solo queue (one of our guys afked -> dc without ever buying items) and I felt pretty good, but then all my friends told me how retarded solo queue people generally are ._..
I generally play Warwick and Tristana, I'm learning Garen now, add bman3k on NA servers if you like!![]()
Malph, Trundle and Shen endgame can go screw themselves. Unkillable mofos.
Malph's design is horrible all he is good for without his ult is towerdiving. Then he can get a bunch of kills with it and go back to being useless.
Trundle just ignores everyone and everything and goes for the carry no matter what.
Shen just takes 2 minutes to kill with a full team.
Yes, I'm mad. Yes I got owned by Malph last game. Yes, I don't care. The design of that character is horrible, just like Amumu's. They're walking ults.
#91
You just need to pick the right counter items. Maybe players go for the pure damage increasing ones and forget the utility ones that are just as good.
Madrads Bloodrazor is always a good item when facing heavy champing like Shen, Trundle or Malph; but you pair it up with other items. Last Whisper is so underused by carries or other champions, it'll shred armour of those champions. Team it up with something like Last Whisper, of Black Cleaver and your an anti tank.
However, go a different route and get Last Whisper with Wits End, those champions might be walking ults, but they can't do too much with mana.
I had Mallet, Wits End, LW, Wriggles, Banshees, Swiftness.
I know the counters... it still takes insane amounts of time to kill them, allowing that 700 AP stupidly farmed BS, flashing, Zhonya's Heimer to mop the floor with us. I don't care if you can avoid it, the very idea of the champ is super aggravating. You know the ult is coming, but if you're caught in it, it's usually instant death. Yet he's so hopeless without it.
I was Ezreal.
Now it all makes sense. God hates you for your character choice.I was Ezreal.
#94
Well, I hate to say it; but what were you expecting. As cool as it is to be a dps carry, you need those team mates to put a stop to the tank dps characters. You needed your stuns, snares and blinds to combat them; Ezreal just doesn't have the utility to put a stop to them.![]()
Yea, I know it was a teamwork issue mostly. I thought a Frozen Mallet would let me kite them... it worked, kinda.
Still. Am I the only one who doesn't like the idea behind Malph?
Anyway, enough rambling by me. I was pissed off whole yesterday and was feeding each game.I'll get over it.
Are you guys playing together any time? Can I have the Mumble info, please?
P.S.: Brenil, I also play Trynda, does that make up for it?![]()

What is Wrong with Malph?
He can hit hard, and all that; but he has serious mana and cooldown issues.

... and no Tryndamere only makes the devil love you more. God pees on you righteously.
That's what's wrong. He's useless without his ult, and when it's used on you, it's frustrating. :P
@ Brenil
Not sure if serious. :P
The use of which champ do you think would make up for my sins? :P
Thanks for the info.

Pfft, you just don't know how to use him. While he is slightly weaker without his ult ready, he is far from useless, with the right items he can be quite deadly. Best why to play him is to get your health and armour up as soon as you can; health for his passive and armour for his ground slam (more armour = more damage). Then work your way to getting items that boost your damage that include Health and/or Armour (atmas impaler is great).
Gameplay wise, pick your battles. In Team fights use your ult on the main group of players then ground slam. For other battles, lead in with your slow, and spam ground slam when you can. Ground Slam is your main ability as it will help you more than the others. Don't rely on your Ult as it's cooldown is way to much for it be used beyond the team fights.
He isn't the best character in the game, but he's not the worst. Most of his strength comes for people no facing him much and surprising them.
Wow... you misunderstood. Don't 'pfft' me. :P
First, I know how to use him and how he works. I've played every champ at least once. I know my stuff. :P
I wasn't saying he's weak, or that he's boring to play as. I meant that he's super annoying to play against. Especially the bad ones. They do no tricks other than ult+e+w+q+ignite and killing you. Then they go back to being useless. That's what pisses me off to no end.
