It's all about the World Map Clan wars. You can get locations which gives gold and credits per day. Biggest thing right there.

A clan on the EU server would give me an excuse to actually play with some Dolts.

Is it possible that they might split from the King Tiger and allow for either choice? As they don't have the P version ready. That would be great.

Plans for a new patch in June are two new maps and rearrangement of american medium tank tree with the addition of Patton, moving Pershing down and removing T23.
No E-series yet.

Poor t23 although it did seem kinda pointless. Exatly the same but with extra numbers? Sounds pretty boring.
I have unlocked my Su152 from an evenings grind. Last five battles saw our tier 6s being deposited in tier 10 battles. Makes grind agonisingly slow.
It looks promising stock, my clanmate who has an object said he sticks with the derp over the fast 122 and I can see why. The HE rounds are great for bashing higher tiers. Wherras the 122 has higher rof it has piddly pen.
If you have access to a 152mm Derp Gun but not using it, you are a horrible person that is going to die in the fires of hell.
Well the same can be said for the T-43, it's exactly the same as the 34-85 except for some looks and higher health :/
i prefer 122 on SU-152 actually because it much easier to handle flank better, i have many times where the enemy team try to rush my position but they die horribly because of rapid fire 122 but then i prefer 152 in urban area where you cant hide much.

I imagine the fast 122 has its uses yeah. If I'm in a platoon though, I have the support to make up for my low rof.
I'm just pleased that it seems to be good stock. Which is a massive novelty considering most tanks suck testicleballs out the box.

The T-34-85 is a frankenstein's monster of a tank. It has the hull of a T-34 and the turret (and armament) of a T-43.
93% Explorer, 53% Killer, 40% Achiever, 13% Socialiser
Oh yeas i pretty much call them total noob because use HE with BL-10, i imagine that the confirmation that any new player would do.
Actually the KV-13 is a true Frankenstein tank. I've given up on just sitting on my T34/KV-2 and am now grinding towards it in the T34-85.
Edit: The new steppes map is an arty and sniper fest. There is very little hard cover and lots of open ground, and what isn't open ground is ridges that screw you over if your not driving an American tank.

Sounds like using teammate bodies is the best approach. How many times have I seen players ignore dead bodies. They are mobile moving cover. In the correct setup you can hold back a full army by yourself if setup right. That's one thing people need to learn, dead bodies give best cover. One game in a KV3 I held an IS3, IS, Fern and a KV3 down by being hidden by a teammates dead body. All they could target was by cannon which was such a small location vs me seeing ALL of them. Game ended with a win as holding all their heavies means our heavies rolled through their light and mid tanks then came up behind them.
Of course that would not have worked if they got the balls to come up, but each person didn't want to get hurt and so none of them rushed me. It's a mind game, if they know they might get damaged and it could cost them, most people stay safe even IF it's not safe. Funny how that works.
For god's sake, why did noone tell me about he KV-13! I'll have to buy my T-34-85 back...

A KV13 is a KV that goes 60 kmph *laughs*.
KV-13 is the bridge for jumping between heavy line and medium line and it basically IS hull with t-34 turret from the look of it anyway
Or a T-43 with more survivability and more speed.
As it takes gold to get it, I guess you might see it as a way to make credits easy. It's stats do look like a IS-KV.
The KV-13 doesn't require gold to buy, silly. Its a regular tank that can be researched from the KV-1S or the T34-85. The new tanks that require gold are the Lowe and the KV-5.

the changes to the graphics are actually doing terrible things to my game play
trees and smoke are what reduce my FPS (i play on a laptop)
and it seems that the patch has turned on all smoke effects

Oh man, KV5 is a monster, more armour then the KT and more hp... That's nuts and it's sloped! Lowe is looking less and less good compared to that, but I may still buy the Lowe over it as the gun is far better. It's got the King Tigers top gun and I can kill nearly anything with that.

I suppose buying a good tank makes it 'unfair' even though that is bollocks. You'll be facing tanks fairly that are fairly earned, why does it matter if someone gets a fairly balanced tank by buying it? If anything its unfair the devs let you buy crap tanks.
My understanding is this, your paying 7500 gold. Prem tanks have super cheap repair, now the ammo might not be as cheap though. This will balance out.
Think of it this way, the Lowe is a KT with less armour same gun(little better pen) and a good turret. It also has a super cheap repair bill.
The KV-5 seems to be tier 7.

Yes.
For your reference though, King Tiger repair bill from 0% is about 15k, and ammo is 1k per shot.
Lowe repair bill is half and amount of credits you earn is multiplied by a shit tonne.
Premium increases the amount of money and experience you earn by 50% each. Depending on what tank you drive and your expenses, that might double or triple your credit income.
