It just dawned on me they may be splitting the prototiger from the normal tiger when the split happens. Just like they will be doing with the KV and KV2. mmm.

Well, I finally got out of the pew pew tanks (Pz3/Pz38NA) and into the PzIV and Pz III/IV (also have Stug III). One thing that was driving me crazy with the 50mm guns and smaller is that even though I kept HE rounds for bigger tanks (KV and up), 90% of them would bounce just like AP. However, my 75mm guns would reliably explode even against tier 9 tanks. So what gives?
By the way, how much time do I have left before the German Tech Tree is switched up? I have a lot of exp to earn to get Panther and Tiger tanks and it may screw my grinding if the switch is made mid-way. For example, if I know I won't make it, I will only grind VK3001H and VK3601H because the 3001P jumps over to the Tiger P line.

Fully updated implies that the Marder 3, Dickermax, Sturer Emil, Nashorn, Jagdpanther 2, Stug E-100, VK2801 are complete.
The German Heavy and Medium Trees are complete in 6.6

Got my KV-13 last night, and despite it being stock I love it already. It's like my two favorite tanks, the Matilda and the A20 had a baby and this was the result. It's fast, tough and so far matchmaking has been very favorable to it so even with the lame 76mm guns it's still very functional.

I loved the T-44 in the beta, but now the weedy 100mm is starting to get on my nerves. It was good on the T-34-85, if a little slow, now it just irritates me at how low the DPS is compared to practically everything else.

The M7 is an interesting tank in that it has no survivability even when against tier 4/5 and the 6pdr is less effective compared to the T34's 57mm. And it can't use HE shells, although the 57's HE shells where a joke anyway.
The scout tanks can be fun when you get a map that you can actually scout on or get in lower tier battles. But otherwise, I agree. What is wrong with you?The A-20 is a favourite of yours? What is wrong with you?

out of the t-5 lights, I hate the a-20 the most. I even sold it because I hated it that much compared to the others. I have much more fun scouting and fighting in the Leo and M5. The a-20 just does not have any survivability compared to the smaller Leo and M5.
Leo has armour made of bouncinium and the M5 has the howitzer. All the A-20 has is speed (a meager 5 kph above the Leo) and tracks the size of delaware

looks like we have another KV-13 convert. It's a great tank to play with alone because of its armor and sheer amount of hitpoints. However, the issue with the KV-13 is its gun. Taking a platoon full of KV-13s really gimps the team with regards on firepower. the 85mm works well, but most of a time, a 100mm would have done the job better. If i take out the KV-13, i make sure that my platoon mates are taking heavy hitters.

I had a love hate relationship with the t-44 during beta. I loved what the tank could do, but i never could play it well. But now that i have it on release, i'm loving it again. The 100mm is a bit underpowered for the fights that it's put in. While I practically grimace when i'm put into tier 10 battles where there are T-54s and Pershings running around, at least i know i'm not stuck with the low penetration 90mm of the T-23.
Yes, more KV-13 converts please. I just took down a T-54 with the only help being from a single shot from the Object it was circling and then took down a 100% T32 by myself.
My love of the A20 stems from back in the early beta before they got rid of warping and you could solo a VK3601 with it. That and antics, like pinning a Obj702 to a wall while a KV flanks it or something. But overall it's a nice driving tank with 72kmph and over 30 horsepower per tonne so I can zoom all over the map with and maybe bag some arty when the matchmaker actually puts some in the battle. In contrast the M5 Stuart may as well be a brick, max 60kmph and 20hp/t, and still gets one shot by 122 guns just like the A20. The Leo is the better tank in guns and armour but I prefer the suprior camo and turning of the A20, and smaller tracks.
Onto more interesting KV-13 topics though...
The D-5T is where it's at, great rate of fire and enough penetraition to put a round through the sides and rear of a VK4502, I know that because I bagged a 50% one earlier. Bagging VK4502 with less effort than my TD's, being fast enough to beat lame scouts like the M5 Stuart or 38NA places and having enough health and damage to shread a Tiger at close range and bully the tier 7 and 8 mediums around, I hearby declare this tank a winner.
Us dolts on the Euro server really need to platoon up. Watching a pair of platooned KV-3s avoid victory to chase down a single medium, people who ignore the cap happening right behind them instead to charge forward and leave no one close enough to halt it, and people who suicide for no purpose when they are the highest tier tank we have. It starts to wear down your enjoyment of the game.
Yes, that would be very nice since i think i will ragequit on arty if i don't stop getting retarded teams.

Finaly got the 128mm on the Ferdinand again, and it's better than what I remember.
Oh boy...getting the itch for this again. Time to see if this is still unplayable on my laptop. Not looking forward to the grind again, but I can't resist the tanks. =(

Ah crap now I can't tease Hiro with having a bad tank anymore! I still say the T-54 is OP broke. Of course track it and it's as dead as the next tank hehe. Thank god Swift hasn't gotten one yet. My poor tanks arse can't be ranmed hard enough from you two trying to make Tank babies with the poor thing. I swear staying with slower tanks has done wonders for my games though. Always end up being dead far to fast in fast tanks. Go figure.

Yea having a clan helps alot. Being able to do a clan chat is great and allows us to talk all together very easy like. And being able to see all those in the clan on in one click makes it far better and easier then the contact window. Well worth the money I spent ^^

Nothing specific, end of this month, most probably middle of next one.The update will be somewhat interesting for me, seeing as i'm rather far away from most of those sexy german heavies, but the US TD's seem very interesting, not sure about the T9 one tho, it seems like an uparmored Jtiger with a BL-10 equivalent gun and retardedly low mobility (13 km/h max speed and very low HP if i remeber so it should be arty food without some buildings)

They had some "join the test server" thing at one point. It filled up VERY fast I remember. It's not available anymore.
I've been stuck in my SU-5 for some time, though I'm also in my KV, so it kinda balances out

Do you know where i could sign up for it, i have been looking around and i can't find any of the threads that were there some time ago, they had all the info and help about joining the test server.
Also total BS on this bonus for the US server, they could have atleast went with something nation specific, not take a day recognized worldwide and make it into a special event for the US only.

You just had to create an account on the Russian server, download and install the russian client along with the 6.5 test and enjoy it..

Well i've just started playing this with a friend. I've gone for the first US med tank and he's gone for the BT-2. Right now we're saving for the T2 med tank (next one up) and BT-7 respectively. Its fun zooming around up the hill on Himmelsdorf. He's got a weird obsession with ramming into enemy tanks. Worse it works

half the posts on overlord's blog are people butt hurt about not getting this 5x event right away
And rightfully so, its a very dickish move on their part and they are not even trying to hide it.Because if we are going to have server specific events we should have them for things that are specific to the region the server is in, not for something that is celebrated everywhere, like say we get a big bonus like this on new years eve while everyone gets a coming soon handwave.

An event that happens later than on another region means i could have prepared 3-4 more extra tanks to take advantage of 5x.
