Granted, i've budgeted myself so i don't end up throwing $400 at the game in one go.
I only use the exp to get the top modules for my tank and then i grind to the next tank the normal grindy fashion

However once the lorraine 40t comes out in patch 7.1, i'm definitely going to free exp straight to the AMX-13/90 without any grinding

I turned on accelerated crew training cause I'm a cool enough kid to not spend hundreds of dollars on a shitty tank game

Until WoBB comes out and then I'll spend hundreds of dollars on a shitty ship game

Also before I forget again here are some terrible things I've made for this game

I just got into WoT a couple weeks ago and currently love rolling around in my Luchs when it isn't being a burning heap of scrap metal. Leopard next. Can't stop loving the fast tanks even though they can't take hits. It's all worth it when your artillery actually shoots the stuff you've spotted or you roll up behind the enemy arty and shoot them up their arse.

Got my Chaffee last night and after rolling around in my M5 and this thing is a great fun. Not much of a scout, it's good view range is cancelled out by it's large size/bobble head and lowish speed and acceleration, it does however do very well as a 'light' tank.

It seems to get a lot of Xp per battle when you actually go 'tanking' rather than scouting with it and it's lovely, lovely penetration lets me put holes in TD's, mediums and some heavies, resulting in a fast tank that can actually kill stuff. Been the bane of a couple of Ferdi's that thought it smart to be off on their own although being an armourless XP punching bag pretty much everyone is willing to take a shot, and with the Chaffee's big size means I can't dodge much. Health is also nice, 580 health means it can take an AP round from anything but the super death guns and come out still alive, but the pathetic armour means HE rounds go strait through and even slightly touching another tank, even doing 20kmph, results in health loss. With clan wars vacuuming up most of the super tanks the matchmaker puts the Chaffee in very similar games to the M5 Stuart which is just gravy.


Having driven the tank and looked at the stats of the other two tier 5 lights, I'll say the Chaffee has no place being in clan wars. The Chaffee is a lighter medium tank which means it doesn't have the speed or acceleration to escape a real medium or the firepower make a real difference to the battle. The T-50-2 or Super Leo on the other hand, especially the T-50-2, I can see a dedicated scouting position.

I'm facing a serious credit problem at the moment; yesterday I researched both the T32 (used free xp to get the suspension and turret from start) and the E50. However I only could buy one of those: the T32, because I want the T34 asap to get the free M103 and T34 prem. The problem is that I do not want to sell the T29 nor the Panther II... Not to mention that I'm only 30k away from the E75; which I will buy first over the E50.


I guess this means credit grinding on all my tanks; especially the Löwe and PzKpfw V-IV.

I've and making about 250k and hour of play due to the credit bonus on my panther, tiger, Easy 8 and panzer 4

Also, you got a good 3 months on the T34. the M103 won't be released until some time in early 2012

I've bought Panther during this weekend and this tank is made of crystallized tears. Stock, it barely moves and barely shoots. I've T-43 and T20 and they actually were quite fun stock. T20 is a great farmer also and T-43 has nice alpha. Panther is like - shoot someone that is at extreme distance and hope it will not look your way.

Get your panther elite. The 75L100 is made to cause tears and bloodshed.

You shoot until the entire team is looking at you, and then you hide while your team murderizes everyone because they're too busy waiting for you to pop out again. And if they turn away to disengage, then keep firing at them because they will die and cry like the pansies they are.


I also got a steel wall achievement for doing close engagements

The thing is, I sold that Panther - which I had sitting there for months after I got it for free when it was swapped - YESTERDAY, just before I read that there would be this Market Garden event =_=.


By the way; that they didn't announce which tanks would come in 7.0, makes me a bit suspicious that the M103 could come earlier.

Now i know the stock tank is crap rule, but dear god does it count double on the Ferdi, i don't think i have won a game with it in the last two days and i don't think i've made more than 15k total with it in some 20 matches i have played, and i keep loosing money, the only thing that keeps me playing is the fact that i double earn with the tiger so that i can upkeep the damn shitbrick of a tank this is.And to think i have to grind another 65k of xp in this thing is really really really turning me off the game completely.

Jopax, welcome to the average german line; where tanks suck at stock and the grind is hard. However as a result you get to know the tank so much better. I find that IS3 drivers are 9 out 10 times frekkin' retarded with zero experience of how to handle a heavy tank. To me this is a result of the so easy grind on soviet tanks (KV > KV3 > IS > IS3). Going through German tanks means pain (Jagdpanzer IV, stock Tiger, stock Panther, etc.). I find Ferdi drivers being much more experienced due to this fact comparing to ISU drivers. In most cases, when you see a high tier german tank you know that player went to pain driving the stock tanks to get there, I automatically respect them for that!

About the Ferdi, get a camo net and rammer aswell 6x camo skill on it (or 3x camo and 3x repair) when the crew is 100%. Grinding with the 105 isn't so bad; it penetrates good with a good RoF and accuracy.

Why would you put a camo net on the Elefant the thing is as stealthy as a house you're never going to hide the fucking thing.

Also never split your crew specs since it's averaged over your entire crew; if you have 3x repair at 100% and 3x camo at 100% in a 6 man crew your actual repair is at (100 + 100 + 100 + 0 + 0 + 0) / 6 = 50% repair and same for your camo.

Anyway the Elefant is better once you get the 128mm (you stop losing money) and the best engine means you're actually more maneuverable than a house.

Well when I played it in beta and release the camo net really helped; not to mention the camouflage skill. And I never split up my skills by the way.

I've had IS-3 and stock it is quite bad - inaccurate gun with bad pen. Until you get BL-9 it is mostly pain to drive.

I gotta say, the KT with the Henschel turret, even with the stock gun is a much better experience with it than without it somehow.

There's a reason for this; it's called "the Porsche Turret is a giant turd which has 100 front armour and will be penned by even short 88s". Also the King Tiger probably has one of the best stock gun options as it's the long 88 which is a god damn beast of a gun.

It's been speculated that there were different queues before that were consolidated into one big queue. That certainly makes sense to me, I always wondered how thousands of players online could translate into so few tank on the MM. Of course that many tanks on queue lets the Matchmaker work like it does on the Russian server, AKA supposedly a lot better.

The Type 59 is the same as the T-54 but with half the speed and a tier lower.

For those of you that are having issues with the type 59 tank, let me explain to you what it really is. It’s an up-armoured T-44 that sacrificed its speed for that boost. While it has the T-54 style turret and armour look, it’s hardly as fearsome and tough as that tank. Most of the turret is bouncy, and only the front of the hull is SOMEWHAT bouncy (but still 20mm less than that of the t-54. Only 10mm more than the t-44, and equal to the pershing and panther II. It just has good slope which higher end guns can easily defeat). In no way is it really comparable to the T-54 strength-wise because it lacks the gun and the speed that gives the T-54 its reputation. It might be better than the T-44 simply on the basis of the gun and armour, but it hardly holds a candle up to the panther II or the pershing which outperform it in every other aspect (gun, maneuverability, tactical usefulness).

The Type 59 is very vulnerable from the sides and any 200mm penetration gun will go through front hull with no problem. 130mm penetration guns with good accuracy can even hit the top hatches of the tank for full damage. Also, most Type 59 drivers are complete idiots and move out into the open where their hull armour is negated by easy flanking. Doomrider and I have no real issues dismantling Type 59s that wander into the open in our Easy 8s. And we always use AP.

You may even get a lucky break by ammo rack exploding the tank because the tard with the type 59 didn’t think to purchase a wet ammo rack for it. The bloody things are an annoyance when driven by the average driver and only a viable threat if you don’t know how to deal with them or they being driven exceptionally well (which is rarely the case)

I don't see why would anyone have a problem with it, it's just another premium tank, it eats up lower tiers but melts as soons as it meets something of equal or higher tier.

In other news, got a one day premium and a KV-3, grinding cash and xp in three tanks, so far so good, made almost 20k in my T32 and around 10k in my Ferdi
