    @ molo

I wouldn't go with the Staff Sergeant stripe (or whatever the American equivalent is) for COH. Even though it's an army stripe, I don't think it's immediately connotative of COH... so I'm inclined to agree with Zallis's earlier suggestion that you consider the American star from COH (the one in a circle, I believe) as an alternative.

For coh, why not just use instead of a nationality-based icon? Or just the letters CoH a bit sharpened up?

or but that might stretch a little

That was one of the first thoughts that crossed my mind but it doesn't really fit with the other badges: the other badges are stylised and visual; do you understand me when I say it would look out of place next to the others?

I tried the tiger, but kinda failed to get the gun properly. But I'll try again.

Edit: What do you think about this?

(Nitpick alert): nice shape, but I'm not sure about the shine at the top; again feels out of place. None of the other badges have perspective and weight to them: look how flat Board Wars and Tabletop symbols are. Overall though I likey.

EDIT: then again, it's about to be massively scaled down, so I guess we won't notice!

No, the size is ready to be used, kept it the same size as the current CoH one. I'll post a picture without the glow.

@ helena, yes I get your point, it would be out of place. But IMO a tank would also be out of place since its much bigger. Maybe a grenade or so? Just my 2 cents.

Which is why I prefer the Allied star over a tank... but the tank may look good. A pineapple grenade... that might be interesting.

Sturkov, are those Sheen quotes? They look familiar.

I only read them through this quiz of Sheen vs Gaddafi: who said it? And it's amazing how hard they are to tell apart. Then again, I haven't read Sheen's quotes from the original source... so Google to the rescue!

    Sorry, off topic.

Reki, does this mean that Relic Employees loose their badges? Will we be able to recognize them from their avatars or something? Or am I confused with the small logo in the original badge logo?! (meaning the relic employee badge will remain)

Ah, I see... Reki didn't show all the badges.
I assume the Relic staff badges and Fleet command will get an update too?
I can't imagine our humble Overlord without an unique badge, so there will be no question about his status as Overlord.

What the... why does our humble Overlord wear a puny Admin badge

Dyn is on extended leave at the moment. If he wants a Fleet Command badge when he comes back, we can work it out then. I'll get around to the thq & relic badges sometime soon.

    Sorak is always on leave.

I must admit, the Relic badges having the old look makes them more unique as both them and the old Super Moderator badges where very similar mainly because they were orange. You could also say they have a 'Relic' for the Relic employees, yes, lame pun very much intended.

I notice that the senior member badge is smaller than all the rest, where as previously they were all from a template. Just sayin'.

Isn't the administrator badge slightly, a smidgen longer than the senior member one, or is that an optical illusion?!

Nope, measured it. Definitely slightly longer.

On my screen it's different. I measured it with a ruler. It's about 3mm shorter.

So, whilst this is funny & I'm tempted to let it run on for another few pages, you guys with short badges just need to clear your cache. You've got an old version loitering about.

The badges are looking great, though in my opinion I think the old Admin, Snr Member etc badges looked better, the new ones are good but don't seem as shiney as the old ones but that's just me.

Any chance that they could be linked to the appropriate forum category? I know it requires some coding (possibly) but since its already done with Childs Play and Donations?

Yeah thats what I was thinking well not specificly that but they do look old school. The snr member ones remind me of old 60's british black number plates.
