Looks neat, but php tags are still broken on my android and maybe it's just me, but it feels "slower" than the old skin. Plus all the subforum displayed on the main page is kinda an overkill...^^

Can you explain what you mean by "php tags are still broken on my android"?
I'll see if I can hack in some minimize forum buttons.
They aren't closed or restricted to the post they are made in. I'll post a screenshot as soon as I rooted my Galaxy S....
edit: as promised the screenshot, this is where it was posted.

okay, I understand now. Anyone who doesn't get what scoia means, click this link: http://forums.relicnews.com/showthre...ard&styleid=68
(warning: clicking that link will change your skin to the mobile style. You just need to click the "Full Site" link down the bottom of the page to change it back)
The PHP code tag is broken with the new skin. I've reported it as a bug to vBulletin.

reki, can you edit that tag? it looks like it needsadded to the end (clearfix). The php code chunk appears to be floated.Code:<div style="clear:both;"></div>
Tragically slow. I can't decide if it isn't actually slower than the default forum skin on my Android. Can't we have the old one back, at least as an option?
My guess would be that the added avatars are causing it to be slower than the other skin. Try disabling them, maybe that helps cause on my galaxy s it's just slightly (as in hardly recogniseable) slower than the previous skin.
Weird, it seems to randomly freeze into really slow loading, at other times it works fine. Maybe it's my mobile internet acting up.
Another 2 issues:
- I can't find a way to go up one level (used to be the "UP" button in the old skin), and always have to go back to the main forum after finishing reading a thread.
- The skin has the quote button. I believe it was deliberately removed from the others to discourage omnislashing? Doesn't bother me, though.

Oh and by Tzeentch, how do I edit a post now?![]()
I was browsing this morning and I like! Much prefer it to the old one anyways.

I'm not surprised. Anything within three feet of you seems to end up full of knife shaped holes.
Um... you guys, I can't change the skin back to the default one permanently.
When I choose "full site" it automatically redirects to the main forum, no matter where I was. Then it automatically switches back to the mobile one when I click something. This is probably because I chose this skin as default in the settings.
And now I can't access forum settings from here. If I go full page > settings it auto-switches back to mobile and says:
"We are sorry, this content is not supported via the mobile style."
It woould be great if someone could switch it back to default for me, because I can't seem to be able to do it in any way.
This skin is a major fuckup IMO, sorry.

Yup, it worked! Thanks Über for freeing me from this... nightmare.![]()

It's all this ridiculous javascript eyecandy they've put into it, which completely defeats the purpose (I also can't remove it without busting everything). Hopefully it gets better with the next version, but for now I'll turn the old mobile skin back on & leave this one as a selectable option if people still want to use it.
Will do this tomorrow, actually, as I realise I don't have the other skin on this computer.
Great news reki. I can now confirm that the default "RelicBlue" skin is actually faster than the new mobile one on my phone. The old skin was better in every aspect, IMO.

Is it just me or does the new skin lack an edit post button?
No edit, no up one level, quote present, as I stated above.

Was going to post something about getting a server error when hitting the sticky tab to view stickies threads, but you've gone back to the default skin so all is well![]()
Woot?! Where there always black dots between stickies and the actual threads?
Also, less shiny but feeks better overall, hopefully they'll improve the default mobile skin.
#22
No... god knows where that dot came from. Will investigate sometime soon.

Using the Linux version of Opera apparently defaults to RelicNews Light. Can be avoided by identifying as Firefox/IE though, so it's just a minor annoyance.

I'm also stuck in mobile skin :s
Can someone switch me back when they get a chance?
Cheers

What happens when you push the "Default" button up the top right?
Hmm?
I only have two buttons on the top right. The first takes me back to the main (still in mobile format) and the other is the search button. Pressing full site at the bottom takes me back to normal on the main screen, but anywhere I go from there (ie other sections of the forum, my profile) are all in mobile skin. Trying to edit settings results in the no-can-do message.

Ah right, you're in the vbulletin mobile skin - I thought you meant the relicnews one.

I've changed you back.
Great! Thanks very much mate![]()
