The Brits just write better articles than Americans, hands down.

Man, I'm exited for this game.

Man what a great article, very different from the US PCGAMER article.

"Relic are remaining cagey about what the four single-player campaigns will involve"

I thought there was only one campaign?

    Shim: probably a mistake.

the article as a whole though is awesome, its cool to read about how units dont just stand still when not fighting. plus the way the writer described how the orks charge makes me very anxious for what will be shown at e3.

I like seeing the Commander wielding that HUGE ass hammer. You just know orcs heads are getting smashed in by it.

Also this article just wets your appetite like crazy for the game. I have a feeling its another game you'd have to see in motion to appreciate how good it is.

Wow it sounds totally awesome. I really love the idea of moral playing a large part of the game and the static animations sound really cool too. As for the HtH combat it just sounds unbelievably awesome with the added bonus that you troops will equip for CC rather than blast away with automatic weapons at zero feet. Now I really can’t wait for the first trailers to come out.

I found it interesting as the described sm re-enforcing there squad with the heavy bolters and scout snipers mid battle , sounded like you could call down re-enforcements anywere, i thought relic had already said units arived at your base not out in the field ?

There is only one campaign, this was a misquote.

i believe that counts as a trailer a text trailer but a cool trailer none the less and that was just coolness
    Da Boyzs will win tho
why? because they believe they can

Elof: I think they mean they ran back to base
    and re supplied the squad

Some of the information is false in that article such as 6 player multi which devs and THQ have alrdy stated its 8 and it also states there are 4 campaigns which is false again since jay wilson has stated numerous time that there is only one campaign.

In all of their exhuberance in bringing so much detail to life in the article, I think we can forgive them a few misprints!

Oh man that article ruled...everything sounds so great. What I liked the most was the actual variety of animations described when units fight, especially the dieing animations, where guys shake their fists and curse out. I just REALLY hope the voice acting and sound effects will be good, cuz that would really boost the quality of the game ten-fold.

Man I can barely tear myself away from the PC long enough to paint a couple platoons as it is... and with such a kickass game on the horizon I should probably get as much done as I can right now so I can at least have decent sized armies to play with afterwards :bandit:

I only hope that there will be some special abilities for the bigger Chapters... having Salamanders with thunder hammers and lots of flamers, unpredictably bloodthirsty Blood Angels, and maybe some of the really off the wall chapters like White Scars biker armies would be totally cool... lot of work polishing the skins though.

yeah especially ones like daemonhunters and wolves. Although for now we could just make rough enough colours and import our own clan badges.

It sounds like they've got the gameplay aspects done very well, and we know the graphics are awesome.

So, with that in mind, it looks like the success of this game will depend now on the smaller things - sound effects, music, voices and if the resource model works effectivley.

Really awesome preview, I wish it were Fall already !
What kind of demo software did they get to write it ? *drools*
Is there any info on the ETAs of other tidbits such as new screenies, cutscenes of in-game action or even the demo ?
