    Game randomly crashes

    Hello there,

    As said, the game seems to randomly crash. Usually involves a bsod.

    I updated nvidea and creative drivers.

    Try uninstalling your NVIDIA drivers completely and then reinstalling the latest. There is also a strong possibility that your system is overheating, or you have defective RAM (you can check that with www.memtest.org)

    How does one use the memtest software? I'm not familiar with working in dos and using the bios.

    The easiest method is to download the ISO, (http://www.memtest.org/download/4.20...+-4.20.iso.zip) write that to a CD, then boot to that CD. (You may have to change your BIOS start-up disk behaviour to check for the CD first)

    Is it normal that the memtest takes a lot of time? I've let it run the whole night, and this morning it was still going. I have 4 ram socket's mind.

    It will run forever - as long as "passes" is at least 1, then you are probably fine. Errors show up in the bottom-half of the screen, if you don't see any, then you good.

    I've seen a couple red errors displaying on the bottom of the page. I have no idea which of the ram sockets is broken tho.

    Yeah, that is definitely a problem then. You can try removing all but one RAM stick, run the test (which should be faster to complete a pass) then if it is good, swap with another, etc to narrow it down.

    I've tested each ram socked on its own in slot 0, yet it didn't give any errors. Might be the motherboard itself? I'll do some more tests this weekend and let you know... This info might be useful to other users...

    Cleaned my motherboard and dit all the test again (seperately and combined with different sockets). It gave no errors this time. Let's hope for the best.
