Ok I would Like to hear some opinions on the current Bloodthirster if there is anything that doesnt look right or seem right post it up.
Also like to hear some suggestions on possible abilities involving favor bonus in campaign from which Yanlou , Ltdead, and me collaboratively help think up. Havent Heard much from Ltdead or Didsy but would love to see some unique abilities being posted up.
I think that the "Bloodthirster" is amazing but i am worried if the game can take on such a hight polly model?
No it will work but the models poly count will be reduced majorly so it doesnt cause lag

I like the third one from the to, i like those spikes and if the handle would be made of bones and flesh it would be awesome.
It is made of bone no flesh on the hilt or handle though

Lol im working as fast and as neatly as possible for the bloodthirster that and the fact my autodesk 3d max wont work may have to use LastDragon 3d max to do that part hopefully it will work on my comp

Hmm you know Ive seen the bloodletters and its only a highlight effect maybe have that as an rank unlock warp blood or something like that also if you stop the newest e3 trailer at 0:53 youll see a chaos space marine with a plasma cannon

I think the bloodthirster should be a darker red since it seems a bit bright right now
I also feel that you may have to add units or change existing units to the other non-chaos factions to balance them out.

@Ltdead The Bloodletters colors seem to fit with Gamesworkshop and Forge Worlds color look and yes new units will be added in for the other races and new upgrades are going to be given to them to balance out chaos rework im particularly interested in working on the eldar and imperial guard units

Also as a quick update im gonna finally upload the Whips concept art also im planning on doing a mini realese with multiplayer wont be for a while, first then work on the campaign
Ok sorry for a lack of updates had to do some rework and repair on a family members desktop pc it was horribly infected with trojan and spyware and adware took like 3 days to fix it and clean it completely will be uploading 2 new concept art pieces I did the whips and a thousands Sons helm.
Tyler our newest member to the mod team has made a sample of his music for the Death Guard. I think it would be perfect for the Thousand Sons but ill leave it up to you if it belongs with the Death Guard.

Ok heres the whip concept art Ive done and the Thousand sons consept helm I did
Whips I did in pieces I decided on this I would look for the best tip, roping used, and handle for the whip
This helm for the Thousand Sons I did I was more inspired by an egyptian statue my family owns hope you like it
Tyler has out done himself with the finished version which is going to be used for the Thousand Sons

First of all, the helmet is awesome.
All of your whips look realy cool. though i can't pick out a favorite with the handles
Also your drawings are awesome, you got some real talent with drawing.
@Ltdead Thank you Ltdead for the compliment and Ive been doing drawing and art since I was 5 Im currently working on Screens for the load up once the base work is done Ill be using photoshop to make it look incredible once I do get it to the point that its postable.
Loving the helmet man, looks awesome. As for the music, I think it could suit either, but if I had to vote I'd go with Death Guard since I like to think that's what it was intended for and he would have some ideas already floating around for the other armies.
@Didsy im glad people like my helmet design so far and on the music he cooking up one for the Death Guard this one more so follows Tzeentch chaotic change and it also gives that feeling like when your listening to it there something unexpected about it but thats my opinion. Also Im adding teeth to the Bloodthirster had to go through 3 sets this set im using has a jackalish or hyena teeth look.
Ok I have finished up the Khorne helmet and Im finishing up the final touches to the slaaneshi Helm im next planning on doing a Nurgle helm.

Ok Ive been bus with multiple models latetly and have been working on a model for Yanlou will have that concept art I did up sooner or later. Been working on a Tervigon, the Plague Sorcerer and the Bloodthirster for these last few days.
will we be expecting plaguebearers to assault the corpse emperors lap dogs?
Awesome work, but might I suggest changing the head to look something like one of these?
The one on the current model looks too friendly and muppet-like, I keep thinking of miss piggy coming after the Imeprium with a big bone axe lol.

Yellow more so follows Nurgles diseased and decaying theme. White is a more neutral color and it gives a more hateful look that and whitest is the chemically hottest color in heat. Had to add some science to it.
How about...Red. Or Orange
well orange could do aswell, give it more of an anger kind of look
I suppose I can do orange for the eyes and I have a special for everyone I was able to record my work session on the Bloodthirsters axe I will post it up soon

Some tips and constructive criticisms:
The new head looks good. I suggest making the focal point of the eyes glowing, beady and relatively small compared to the size of the head. Beady little eyes suggest menacing intent and make people nervous. Also having them glow or be shiny without any real pupil adds to the intimidation factor, since not being able to meet someone's gaze makes a person feel as if they are being dominated (one of the reasons why highway cops wear the mirrored sunglasses). If you look at the bloodthirster heads above, you see all 3 of those features in the eyes: they are small and beady, set deep into "angry sockets" that look like they are scowling or hateful. The eyes themselves attain the otherworldly menace by not having a pupil/focal point within the eye to establish a connection with the "person" looking at you.
Large, round eyes such as the "miss piggy" face suggest kindness or benevolence, or - even worse - cuteness. And a bloodthirster would never want to be defined as "cute" now would he? lol
Also, avoid having a head that appears too large or prominent compared to the neck/body. A large head to body ratio is a feature found in children and small cute animals and further adds to the "cute/benevolent" factor rather than the "strong/menacing" factor. Note that the blood thirsters all have massive necks and shoulders and their heads seem to be growing out of their chest/upper backs almost.
Taking a look at the first and third bloodthirster, big arms and shoulders and a massive neck that seems to grow into the back (with the upper back seeming to come up "above" the head or earline) suggests an inhuman power. This would be a nice addition to your bloodthirster, as the relatively sleek or normally proportioned arms would go better on daemons of Tzeentch or Slaanesh - who prefer style over substance. Khorne is all about power, and is anything but subtle.
Note that in the bloodthirster models, the shoulders are significantly wider than the hips. This is an important proportion when you're trying to convey a sense of savagery and strength. Your current bloodthirster looks somewhat closer to a bloodletter in proportion - wiry, but not HUGE. No matter how big the model is, to get a sense of muscularity, the shoulders and upper back should be wider than the hips. This is also why bodybuilder with a "V" taper from shoulders to lats to waist look much more impressive.
The above advice and guidelines are the same as those for creating characters in comic books, cartoons, or manga. These types of features play on our natural instincts that determine wat looks "threatening" or "friendly" or "cute" or "intimidating."
I like the progress so far, I'll be watching this thread with great anticipation!

Regarding the axe, I prefer a double-bladed axe for the Bloodthirster. It also allows for various animations that include forehand swings and backhand swings; you have more freedom to "Swing back and forth" to make his attacks more fluid.
Something like this^would be appropriate, with detailing on the blade like this:
I would like to see a double bladed axe with the same shape and so on as the first example, but with serrated teeth-like edges such as the axe in the second pic.
I do agree that a Double Sided axe would be a nice thing to do but im trying to add some Uniqueness to the axe design. But Im sure I can make a doubled sided axe variant like pic 2 just for you.
Like Wise cant wait to use some of your characters for my mod
look's good but try to make the jaw bigger, teeth's too would make the bloodthirster look more dangerous.
the axe doesn't look to lethal either try to add some more bone/metal components, also add more smaller spikes to it.
It is following the axe concept art it will have a Large blade protruding from the center of the Teeth, the Teeth would be holding onto the axes blade Ill uplaod another video on progress and ill try and upload the concept pictures.
Ideas for Tyranids was having a brainstorming
1. Change out the Hive Tyrant for a unique Tyrant like the Dagon Overlord look to DeathWatch Mark of the Xenos hes a really messed up and evil Hive Tyrant
2.Change out the Ravener Alpha for a Tyranid Warrior Prime
3. Change out Lictor Alpha for a Broodlord
4. Add a new hero possibly the Doom of Malantai or Parasite of Mortex
5. Re add the Rippers to the army list but improve hp, damage, and give them new upgrades like spine fist, adrenal glands, and venom sacs.
6.Give Raveners acess to spinefists and Death Spitter
7.Give Warriors access to Death Spitter,SpineFists and Devourer
8.Give Genestealer adrenal glands and Venom Sacs
9.Make Mycetic Spores temporary turrets using energy over time till they die
10. Add some new forms of synapse aura
11.And allow spore mines to freely change from Frag to Bio acid, or Poison
I will expand upon these ideas another time and I think I might be able to upload the concept art finally today

Okay heres the Major pieces finished Axe The Bone still Needs some work but overall its close to done
I will also upload my new planned version of the Dagon Overlord and the Ravener Alpha replacemnent the Warrior Prime today just finishing up the Wargear and his 2 new globals might even finish the Parasite of Mortex's globals and Wargear.
