Noob in need of help :)

I just bought COH OF and I like it very much and I am doing pretty well with the Panzer Elite army but if it isn't a problem could somebody give me some pointers on how to play with the brits because I lose every time
Just a few immportant tips..which units are good and which are bad,how do begin playing and similar?
