    Yeah the prob with me testing out the rare armour is my army has that rank atm so they have it allready! I think I spaced replacing the common/epic model files.

    try out this updated version of the dow1 armour! The Aquilla should show up better with shiny colors now aswell.

    Thanks for the armor Hadrun! There's seem to be one tiny problem through. The armor also replaces the rank 46 lvl commander armor. I found this out by checking it out in Last Stand.

    ozzakaboom@what you would want to do is easy enougth to do.take the veteran sgt pic dif file and rename it tarkus_head.dif

    Data\ui\textures\generic\fe\game_setup\heroes
    Data\ui\textures\race\icon_squads
    Data\ui\textures\race\portraits
    Data\ui\textures\race\squad_tabs

    those are the locations for the different pics. The bottom three are the locations for tarkus stuff, the others are the hero selection/loading screen pics. the sga(s) you want to unpack is/are located in your steam/ret/gameassets/archives folder. the data sga's

    I use Cope's Tools and its all automated, as easy as creating a new mod, going to those locations, extracting a few files and renaming/editing them, and then test/release the mod.(for retribution atleast)

    ok ive installed copes mod tools. a couple of questions because ive never ever modded and all my tries have failed and i dont get copes mod tools
    1) do i need a module file in my mod folder. if so do i need to change it.
    2) how do i use copes tools to pack it into a sga file.

    when you create a new mod with cope's it will place a module file, a mod folder (that will contain anything you extract), and possibly a launch.exe in your ret folder. You can test any changes before repacking with the test mod option (under tools). when you're done and want to repack it into an sga just use the release mod option also (under tools). it will create a folder with 3 sga's in it. with portrait/model changes, all you need is the data sga that is created. just rename and throw it in your ret/gameassets/mods folder!

    the module file is more for big mods that change gameplay/stats/breakthegame and is used by the launch.exe and cope's tools to open the mod for editing/extracting

    when I was trying to find out where models were located, I just opened one of shuma's sgas with copestools and found me some filepaths

    @ Caeltos, Here's a couple choices, wen't with the ulthwe color scheme to match the rest. Thinking about painting them dire avengers colors and removing the tc, but that might mess with other models that may use the guardian armour textures. I'll find out soon!

    @azariah, thats just my fc's rank earned armour. I'll prolly do a version close to that. stop deleting all your stuff!

    @ozzakaboom, I could replace the DA stuff with shuma's BT pack but other ppl will still see Dark Angels, unless they're using it aswell. If the game downloaded mods others players use, we could have tons of new stuff all over the place but that would cause a huge increase in game load time. Ultramarines DLC looks cool, they should have done space wolves (or just about any other more popular chapter) but I understand why they did it with Space Marine coming out soon..They should promote the dow series with cool dow related stuff and not other game series. Atleast they aren't selling TF2 hats yet, its getting as bad as the youtube "sub for sub" or "friend for friend" advertising each other~

    @drow, prolly just conflicting with another mod. just gotta test out which ones ya think are causing it! prolly something with portraits unpacked for some reason. Sometimes if you have a conflicting mod, stuff that you'd think would still show up, doesn't. for instance the kreig commi breaks all of the portraits in existor's portraits mod when you'd think it would only change the commi's. @@


    the patch notes made it sound like Nids were getting a DLC. what about the other Factions?! Should be orks or chaos to promo Space Marine, they're both in it aswell! :P

    hey hadrun ive been using your stuff and shumas for yrs moding and ide like to say great job man.
    now ive never asked for something but here goes.
    can you make a melta pistol and power axe combo for my dante to use.ty for your work as a modder id like to tell you and all of a breakthrough i had yesterday.i can make the chainswords biger finaley and custum looks .allso im trying to make gabriels seth eviscirator two handed chainsword allso. Now this does work but the chainteeth has a small gap in it but i did get it to work as it should ,teeth and all move correctley.this and more will be in my ba mod but if you and all want once i get done with chainswords ill put links here for anybody to dl. And Do you think you can make a techmarine use axe and plasma pistol combo or know how to get it done, well i rambled on enough great job on all this and ty allways budy.

    @lavishinferno, more options! The Stormbolters will need custom animations. HH has some marine storm bolters in the WoA files but I can't seem to extract them. If someone else would like to give it a shot, and it works send the files mah way! I Don't think this has been posted anywhere so here's this atleast!

    @shadowninja, I will need to learn more 3d maxage, and then I should be able to setup some new weapon combos,animations, they'd break ranked multi but I'm sure thats'ok. looking forward to a shadowninja's blood angels download! Creating new models instead of replacing existing models is a bridge I've yet to cross! I've tried just resizing stuff (mainly the inquisitors powersword for space marines) but it resizes it for everyone that uses it (including the main menu inquis) but if I'm making a new model and new textures!

    it seems that the awesome Relic blade dissapears on FCs that are rank 60, due tot he ulock of "force weapon rare azrael second"

    Can you make a fix so that relic blade also replaces this weapon

    The relic blade is ever so shiny.

    also, any news on getting those pesky MK4 ASM to cooperate?

    If soldiers don't like drones, I don't like the 'roo carrier. I mean, I really respect the cow kangaroo, but the soldier appreciates, the 'roo carrier is supposed to take damage with him inside. The cow Kangaroo, doesn't get damaged, at all. If the female Kangaroo is called the cow Kangaroo, as the female elephant is the cow elephant.
