    Ruined:FYI on the bug fixing front a Steam patch can be applied in a matter of hours, most of which involve making coffee, chatting about the latest season of Survivor and pressing the upload button.

    These are some really nice textures. The White Scars armor is my favorite so far, but they all look very good in-game.

    If you're looking for suggestions, how about some specialist-style armor based on the Apothecary, Chaplain, Librarian, and/or Techmarine? I know they wouldn't have any extra bits, but they could have the specialist color schemes and such.

    Not at all. Though any future modder asides from you might need as much help as they can get

    And No-HUD feature is awesome, not only for taking screenshots, but enhancing the difficulty level!

    Just put them anywhere. When you open the texmod exe, you can browse to where you put the files in.

    Also, can't believe how the No-HUD mod makes hard difficulty even HARDER, now that you can't conveniently see how much health you have left, whether you can use Fury or not, and you don't have a crosshair when using ranged weapons (though the Stalker Bolter still has its scope).

    Having only numbers with no icons for the weapons selection does look strange though.

    Well I figured that the Scope should be left, as that wouldn't make sense removing. With regards to the numbers, I cant get rid of those, as they're not a graphic, they use a custom type face, which if I removed, would mess up EVERYTHING, not just the hud. Plus, knowing the ammo count is vaguely useful :P

    sorry guys I met a problem.

    When I extract content into same folder, and I click it, it just show a loading icon and nothing happened.

    I means, I can't open this mod.

    PS: it doesn't come with fault message, so I'm confused about it.

    yes i did. I finish all steps on readme. But I still can't open it.

    The most strange thing is i can't even open my game if i put mod into folder.

    I close my anti-virus,too. So it's really confused me

    an2617690x - You don't open it normally. You place it in the steam folder, rename the official .exe to spacemarine2, rename the tex mod to spacemarine.exe; and have it open through steam.

    I'm exceptionally awed by both the amount of work Noodle is putting in to sate our chapter needs; and the quality of the results. So awesome! >:3

    Actually i try to open it normally and by steam, but it just show up a loading icon and nothing happened. Even a fault message is not show up.

    I try to figure out what happened for hours because I like this skin mod very much, it's awesome but i can't use.

    Besides, if i delete mod, and rename spacemarine2.exe to originally, I can run game again.

    Chevron Sword - Unfortunately there's already a chainsword replacement in the armour files, so would have issues. If you told me your fav chapter, I could make a special one for you, as the idea is cool, it would suit the iron hands I guess.

    Legion of the Damned, maybe. If I did em I'd have some fun and make Titus semi transparent and ghost-like :P

    Teamonthree, you need to download whatever it is you want Titus to look like, or of course there wont be anything to load.

    The mod tools needed to give Captain Titus a helmet in the Campaign currently do not exist just yet, so the short answer is "No" (for now). Once the tools needed to make such a modification possible exist then the answer will be yes.

    TL;DR - The current answer is "No".

    And with regards to Leandros and Sidonis. Lemme just throw out some numbers lol.

    Each texture pack has roughly forty textures, and I've released something like 16 so far, excluding the heads, and I need to hand paint just about every one lol.

    16 x 40 = 640 custom textures.

    Next, we have the two other characters, their armour has completely different UV's to Titus, so I'd have to hand paint those as well.

    640 x 3 = 1920.

    Yeah, to make sidekicks for each of the chapter packs, I'd have to do 1920 custom textures.

    Currently, I'm considering doing a pack for the top three downloaded chapters, which iirc, are Deathwatch, Black Templars, and cant remember what the third is, lol. How does that sound as a compromise?

    Also, could we see an unedited texture for the rest of us to edit, perhaps? I do not understand how Texmod works well enough to get one ._.

    or an explanation of how to do it more clearly would be nice. Either way, I'd like to be making my own as well.

    To BouncyTEM, If I uploaded Space Marine's textures on here I'd get sued lol.

    With regard's to a tutorial etc, frankly I've been avoiding that issue because of a couple of things.

    Do you know how to generate a normal map, do you know what specular and gloss maps are?

    People who do know how to do the above etc, can easily do it themselves without a tutorial.

    If I 'did' make a tutorial, the thread would be inundated with people asking wth certain textures are, what they mean, how they edit them, why stuff is invisible, how do they make a new normal map, where to get the tools etc, and this thread would turn into an FAQ for people new to texturing, which I really don't want.

    So... What's stopping you from editing all the multiplayer textures to a super bright color so that enemies are easier to kill? (Because that's basically what everybody did back in competitive Quake 3)

    As for a tutorial, I'm sure there are plenty of Texmod and texturing tutorials on the WWW. Texmod is a popular program for many games. Just Google It.
