-dev Problem (No, not online thing)

Hi,

I encounter an error caused by -dev on shortcut. I can't launch the game, whether I'm using a mod or vanilla COH, if I write -dev on shortcut.
It freezes my computer before it goes to the intro movies. Without it, anything goes as usual, but without custom maps.

I have reinstalled COH a few times but the problem persist. I'm on COH OF 2.602.

Any idea why?

I'll move this over to Tech Assistance. Please read the READ THIS FIRST sticky thread and then post your dxdiag.txt and hijackthis.log files, as well as a warnings.log from where you try to run the game with the -dev switch.
