"When the stars become choked by the dust of war..."
I gave up on blue plating when i realized that no matter what, i would never get more than 10 in a match. Well, i suppose i could stand in a flag and just shoot at incoming flag cappers, but that'd be cheating.
Edit:
And automatics are more effective anyway.
I admittedly play Pathfinder with the bow instead of the spinfusor but its rare for me to get even 1 blueplate equivalent (air mail) in a game.I gave up on blue plating when i realized that no matter what, i would never get more than 10 in a match.
When in doubt, use chemical sedatives.
How do deals of the day work? As in, what's the highest possible % cost reduction, and are they weighted equally in terms of chance (as in, the highest possible % reduction is just as likely to appear as the lowest?)
Have a Sentinel Falcon available right now at 60% off, thinking if that's a good idea. Seems to be one of the most expensive weapons XP wise.
Highest i saw was 75%. As far as i know, no one knows how they work, HiRez says they're "tailored" to each player, but i lost count of how many times the game told me "here, buy the phase rifle!" when i have 0% of playtime as a sentinel.

I think they're just tailored in that you won't be offered something you can't use. I don't believe it'll offer you weapons for classes you don't own for example.
Say, if I buy all the cheap weapons with XP first, wouldn't that mean it will just cycle all the expensive weapons? So I can just save gold until I have only the 80k+ XP weapons left.
And skins. Skins are also in the day of the deal stuff, and perks.
Hmm, Potential Energy not as nice as I thought it would be for indoor Raidering. Seems like it's basically one more hit via the shield.
Much better for dueling outdoors and I don't think it works with the shield on.
Yeah, pretty much. I was hoping for it to be something that helps me survive Infiltrators and their Sticky/Jackal bullshit; but relying on shielding in-doors results in taking far more damage because how stupid it is to stay on your feet. Shielding seems a lot more useful outside where it's easier to dodge without jetpacking and when there is room to skii, and a bit more versatility with Potential Energy combination (more shields for last ditch shot or to jetpack away).
shields + survivor. It can make a difference indoors, just not when you are slugging it out with 2 or more people.
Potential energy+shield was nerfed, it was pretty crazy before the nerf and made Raiders indestructible assholes who could take out your entire team. Kind of.
