i have infinite EHP. i can fight a dreadnaught in my cruiser and win =3
uggggh. Getting bored with the game again. I just subbed for another month though. What do I do?!
so AF's have been returned to something like they were when they first came out (able to kill cruisers and the like with ease)
black ops already got worked on but obviously not particularly good.
u dont want a scorpion, they've been a bit redundant since the Electronic warfare changes in 05 and the entry of specialised cruisers and that (the cloaky ones, i cant remember the term for them..)
not sure what the best bship to have is these days as ive not been in the game for a long time so several classes have come out since and then there's the balancing, but i used to roll around in a megathron most of the time, had a tempest too for certain situations. those were the 2 i primarily used. did have a nanophoon before they nerfed nanos so that's irrelevant now.
right thats page 5 n top of 6 sorted :P

no. i DO want a scorpion. its the only ship big enough to do ECM effectively against dreadnoughts AND do ECCM and signal boosting for friendlys in a fleet environment. ive allready got a blackbird that can ruin a BC's day with multispectrals, im nearly onto the tech 2 one that can do cloak and cyno's too.
i liked the EW changes in 05. (was it apocrypha?) having the enemys jam resistence chance based on a percentage that is your jam strength - enemy sensor strength is pretty straight forward.

@Dark_Avenger: What is it you are/were doing? What is making you bored?

scorpions have no damage output and are not actually particularly useful at jamming either unless u have extremely good jamming skills leveled up.
they have been, as i said, a largely irrelevant ship since 2005, unfortunately. Unless they've had their perks changed since i last played.
Selling one of my thanatos (nyx if you train FB's) pilot if anyone is interested: https://forums.eveonline.com/default...=posts&t=64600
no discounts! :P
i quite enjoy the harpy, it's my new survival boat - great gate crasher (that extra midslot allows a cap booster)! although, in this alliance i'm in (FAIL) there's waaaay too little fleet discipline and i usually end up going with a rail ishkur + warrior drones (extra low slot means i can jam in a Coprocessor). They're hella fun now, although neither ship of mine has a MWD...don't quite see the point really. So Crucible 1.1 is out. Has anyone tried out the new version of the assault frigates yet? I'm tempted to just go hunting in a rupture instead...

Plex is currently cheap due to ccp plex offer. If you need plex, now is the time to buy, they'll be back at 490+ soon.
I sold a cap pilotnow have 25B in my wallet \o/ thats like 50 plex I can play with at a time!
During my eve career I only ever amassed enough isk for 1 plex. lol. nice guilliman nice.
The CSM 7 elections are coming up next month and PL's own Elise Randolph is once again throwing his hat in the ring after being first alternate on the current CSM 6. He's a really cool dude with first hand knowledge of a lot of the games pvp mechanics, from FCing large fleets to solo frigate action, and more besides, which he brought to the meetings in Iceland and the many skype calls and convos conducted with the devs. Check out his thread; if you like what you see, give his op a Like and feel free to ask a question, no matter how small or broad.
Yeey, joining my old corp in 0.0, next door to the goons! They're blue too hehe. Going to be fun to play pvp again.
Also, I hope no one is planning to buy firbolg fighters for their (s)carriers atm, I own the market now :P

I'm in Fountain next door to the Goons, only they're not so blue. Neither are the G0dfathers.
It's my first two days in nullsec, and I thought PvP was culture shock! Starting to get a handle on things, though... *knocks on wood*
#271
Yeah, it is... Is this because of the rogue drone NPC fix?
#272
Mineral speculation I think. Rogue drone fix + Meta 0 drop removal + upcoming Hulkageddon + Goon threatened Jita campaign = heavy mineral buying and vertical prices.Yeah, it is... Is this because of the rogue drone NPC fix?
Guess who has 47B isk invested into minerals and is already looking at 35B isk profits at the current prices! Me!I'm super rich now! Estimates put profit at around 70-80B isk.

Guilliman, a donation to fund my researched BPO shop would be pretty sweet, feeling the pinch with with all the setup costs though I've sold a few on open contract now so not as bad...
EDIT: Also I hate you and your many billions
I have a bpo shop.. Maybe I should hire some mercs to kill the competition
I won't, I'm lazy, so no worries! And my money is my own!
Guess you never made the connection but I've already told you about it on FCUK on one of my now many alts![]()
Heh, my first draft of that post was just "Because the Guillimans of Eve are buying all the minerals", damn my decision to be more informative and thus missing a chance to look truly sagacious.![]()
If you are wanting a reason to get back into EVE, this might be a good one.

I really hope this happens and someone is recording video of it.Eve Online Players Planning Assault on Trade Hub
Devs call attempt to disrupt Eve Online's economy, "Absolutely brilliant."
An enormous bloc of Eve Online players, led by recently-unbanned player Alexander "The Mittani" Gianturco, have a plan to destroy the entire in-game economy... and the developers are okay with that.
What exactly do Gianturco and his followers have planned? It's called the Burn Jita action, and it's an all-out assault on the center of Eve's economy, the Jita trade hub. The action is set to begin tomorrow, and there are reportedly already more than 14,000 ships prepared to go to war.
"I tell you what, it's going to be f***ing brilliant," Jon Lander, senior producer of Eve Online, told Eurogamer this morning. "Absolutely brilliant."
Events like these underline the player-based philosophy of Eve, which remains a departure from other MMOs. Much of the content of Eve is driven by what the players get up to, rather than by scripted events and quest lines, which results in a dynamic world that makes players feel truly involved in its goings-on.
"They're going to do exactly what you're able to do in the game, and people will have to roll with it," said Lander. "It'll be great."
So you had infinite ISK before and you still have infinite ISK.Guess who has 47B isk invested into minerals and is already looking at 35B isk profits at the current prices! Me! I'm super rich now! Estimates put profit at around 70-80B isk.

I'm not sure what changed?
So I just got back from the London meetup and it was awesome.

GODDAMNIT. I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING WAS HAPPENING YESTERDAY
Burn Jita made for some good scenes but might not have had quite the intended effect.
http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/eve-online/1224021p1.html
Burn Jita Didn't Ruin Eve Online's Economy
Good job, GoonSwarm. You guys gave us a very entertaining few days of burning and pillaging the Jita trade hub in Eve Online. Many ships were destroyed, much ISK was lost to the abyss. According to some graphs over at Eve News24, it looks as if the grand Burn Jita attack over the weekend certainly had an effect on the economy, but it doesn't seem it was as catastrophic as many were hoping.
Granted, Eve's economy is hyper complicated and almost as hard to comprehend as the real-life global economy, so who knows? The attack may have some impossible to foresee long-reaching consequences. GoonSwarm, the group behind the Burn Jita attack, blew up a bunch of freighters that made the mistake of getting in their way, each holding billions of ISK worth of stuff. For the owners of those ships, at least, it's going to take some rebuilding to get things moving again.
So while the event may not have been as much of a success as the hundreds of players perpetrating it hoped it to be, it shows off why Eve is so great. GoonSwarm was looking to completely destroy an entire economy and the developers at CCP Games were like, "Go ahead guys, knock yourselves out." In just about every other online game ever, they'd likely be stopped, booted, and banned. Only in Eve, y'all.
Burn jita mildly annoyed us traders. Daily volume of the minerals (amongs other things) dropped by 2/3rd. Cashing in on my vast mineral stockpiles is going to have to wait a bit longer now. Everything is delayed. Mineral prices crashing down now, should go back up soonish to realer values.
I shot a pod and now faction police attacks me. Good times :P
What exactly do you intend to do with your vast stores of funds there?

Two questions. Do you still do blueprints. Second question if you do, do you have any caldari fuel blocks ones and how much would these be?
https://forums.eveonline.com/default...=posts&t=40322 that's guilliman's store

Fuel Blocks -- me40 -- pe10 -- 25,000,000 each
0x -- Amarr Fuel Block
14x -- Caldari Fuel Block
5x -- Gallente Fuel Block
0x -- Minmatar Fuel Block
Bolded for convenience, though stock may be out since a LOT sold over the past 48hours, haven't updated yet. They're 25m per bpo.

Well if possible, I'd like 5 Caldari Fuel Block BPOs please

So, the new expansion 'Inferno' is now out - how are you guys finding it?
I haven't tried out all of the new stuff, but the new missile effects are pretty nice.
The faction warfare overhaul is interesting, having players not being able to dock in enemy controlled systems. Obviously this has caused some tears amongst the station campers; one corp especially from the Amarr side that has now retired from the war.
System upgrades have meant that my faction (Minmatar) has an easier time now, with reduced LP costs in the LP store, and a few other bonuses for winning.
The main point being that now there are actual consequences in the faction warfare fight.
#296
lol, FW.
I jest, it's just a part of Eve I've never experienced.
#297
I joined FW after leaving the heavy 0.0 stuff due to lack of time to commit to it properly (I was with PL). It just so happened that I ended up in a corp (and now alliance) full of great people that I now consider a proper 'home' for me. Even now that I have more time to play, I am to stay where I am because of the people around me. I don't mind if we stay in FW or move somewhere new.
As for FW itself, I would say give it a go if you are looking for something to do. And join Amarr so that we have a bit more competition![]()
I'm in Caldari FW and there's a pretty brutal war going on, neither of us have gone above lvl2 and are now both back into lvl1 upgrades so everything in the LP store costs more than it did before for both sides.
#299
I'm still carebearing with my main, but I took one of those power of two promotions at the start of the month to make a station trader. He's coming to the end of his current skill plan, so I'm thinking of finally getting some PvP on with a Minnie FW alt and a lot of carebear financed Rifters. How easy is it to get started in FW? Do I have to join a corp or can I just sign up, head out and explode?
