Missing some textures

got the game yesterday

it installed fine

but in the first mission
where you jumps out of the thunderhawk

the ground has no textures
its basically clear as the sky ( invisible )

I am unable to find my way even around the map
almost everything except the turret and some minor objects are invisible.

also when i try to exit out of the game
it goes into the loading screen, but it doesn't stop

has anyone else experienced this problem?

( i'll add more system specs later if needed )

Have you tried verifying the game files?

The loading screen error is a common problem and has been posted several times on the official Space Maine forums so it should be to Relics attention already. Hopefully a fix will be on the way for that one.

there are people reporting that the problem is bitdefender

Try shutting down the real time virus protection by going into the Bitdefender control panel->Anti Virus->Advanced Settings->uncheck the tab for Active Virus Control.

yea it was the antivirus software
i added the game exe to exception list to the list
then the problem was solved.

Hey guys... I kind of have the same problem from the starting of the game....
I've played the demo from steam.... it worked well.....
I use a Pentium 4 CPU & i know it's not recommended, but hey they just released a patch for users like us....
but unfortunately i have a cracked game from SKIDROW.... so obviously there's no way i can download patch from Steam....
Please guys help me out... i just need an downloadable patch for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine... i.e non-steam...
