    Love the game but I'm awful. 2.602

    Hey Guys, title says it all and I'd really appreciate some tips on what I'm doing wrong if anyone has the time. This is a typical situation where I just can't seem to get any momentum. (im wehrmacht )

    Hi! I had some time to watch your replay. So here are some tips and critical moments in your replay:

    Your opponent was not strong but he made much less mistakes. I dont know how long you are playing COH but you need practice...

    SOME TIPS:
    1) Play, play and play more! You will get more experiences.
    2) Download and analyze replays of experienced players and learn how to attack, how to defend and how to use passive defences and how to counter steps of enemy correctly. Every map has own specifics and important places.
    3) Focus on important points and adapt your tactic to income form them. When you missing fuel use infantry and mines.
    4) Do not let your units staying. Give them orders.
    5) Spend your resources eariler. Do not let raise them unnecessarily when not saving them for something expensive.
    6) Move forward when you win some skirmish.
    7) Do not frontal attack to well defended part of map. Flank it with support of long range arms or try your luck in another sector.
    8) Do not sacrify your lone units to enemy superior. Retreat in time.
    9) Try to plan your strategy thoroughly and adapt it to strategy of your opponent. Do not try to spent lot of resources for T4 early when you have not enough resources. Take maxium from "weaker" units from T1, T2, T3. It is possible to go directly for T4 successfuly but with very special cases.
    10) Practise your micro.
    11) Be agressive but with sense. Try to anticipate.

    SOME CRITICAL MOMENTS:
    1) Focus more to fuel sectors instead of spending time by capturing munition and victory points as wehrmacht. This faction needs it for buying veterancy and for its strong armored vehicles. You had only +5 income in 2nd minute. Your opponent had +21 in same time. That helped your opponent to get BAR upgrade for rifles after 5th minute and be more dangerous for your volks early.

    2) Do not let your mg42 team rest in building. Their defense of sectors captured by enemy was useless. They should flank us mg nest and help your volksgrenadiers to cover them until they will demolish mg post or help them to do it. Or better send mg to upper part of map to defend middle fule sector. - time: 4:30

    3) After 6th minute of game on south part of map: You won the skirmish in the forrest. You should capture victory point + munition point by your healthy volks. They were covered by mg42 in house both. 2 member volks squad should take BAR and retreat instead of useless death capturing strategic point near US HQ.
    Instead of this your mg team had boring time in house when your volks squad were slowly destroying OPed fuel point and was attacked by next rifle squad which killed 3 men and forced your volks to retreat. This rifle squad took BAR form ground which you should be yours...
    Upper part of map was undefended and captured by enemy when your pioneers in south part were doing nothing. They should recapture north part again or build some passive defense like MG/MEDIC bunker, mines or capture south part. As you can see later well placed mine on south munition could kill many rifles. Your opponent did mistake. He captured that point with 2 squads in same time. He did it once more time again on your fuel near hq.

    4) Do not sacrify units like in 7:50. 1 invetted volks squad with mp40 cant kill 2 rifle squads with bars in close range. Your mg team in near house was sleeping again...

    5) 8:20 - 2 pioneer squads and 1 volksgrenadier squad were staying near hq and waiting for end of match... They should do lot of work instead of this.

    6) 9:00 - US T17 armored car is out and easily destroying your well known lazy mg team in house.

    7) 9:30 - US M3 halftrack is out waitng for gun upgrade. You had no antitank this time. T17 with upgraded M3 easily killed your volks capturing fuel point. They should try panzerfaust and retreat. They died without benefit.

    8) 11:00 - you sent uncloaked and unsupported pak 34 to commit suicide. Your opponent made mistake too and lost his T17. Escaping M3 killed your pios capturing unconnected fuel point in north part and forced your mg there to retreat. There should be some mines on path. They can stop or at least infantry and vehicles for cheap price.

    9) 12:30 - 1 pio squad + 1 grensquad were bored near HQ again instead of capping fuel in southwest corner. Yes i know. You are upgrading to T4 this time meaning that units from last building will save the day. But.... Where you want to get fuel for them when you have not fuel for building construction???

    10) Unsupported pak 34 crew killed again and recrewed with expensive grenadiers again.. Support should be here earlier.

    11) This pak crew + gren squad met new mg nest, 2vet rifles + rangers. Pak was stolen by your enemy, M18 Hellcat comes here and your game is probably lost here.. And you have lot of resources. You should spent them earlier for something useful.

    12) Now there are many enemy units with combined arms. It is impossible to defend them there. You tried to do it from front instead of flanking them or trying to hit other part of map. There was your enemy easily capturing your sectors instead and built mg nest on north middle fuel.

    13) Enemy did raid to your base with M3 for recon and used off map arty. You left your gren here in the rain of arty shellsh...

    14) Frontal attack of pak + Ostwind was last drop. 20th minute - Your grens was trying to capture strat point in north devastated by offmap arty. They left 2 panzershreks on thee ground as gift for your enemy. Sherman tank is on scene and its over.
