    Well then you should have said so. And i only said one uniform.:P Never mind that previously you actually had some uniform variety for your Volksgrenadiers (post 20) So not sure why you went for the Volksgrenadiers suddenly with only one uniform :P

    This isn't just one uniform, it does have some variety but it's barely visible. I was gonna change it to have a little more variety after i posted the pic because i notice how little variety it had.

    Oh btw, i get what you're saying now, sorry i didn't read your post right.

    I think Imperial Dane was referring to your Volks having no variety in their uniform except the headgear. I agree, all german infantry had some access to camo smocks an other camo equipment. I see at least 4 different headgear in your screenshot of the volks (M43 cap, and 3 different helmets), so i assume you've made a number of different Volksgrenadier skins. If that is that case, it would be good if you could give them some variety in their uniforms, like the camo smock on Soldier #3 in the drawing you posted above.

    Okay, but i can't edit the normal map, the variation thing only uses 1 normal map.

    it mean that the rgm use 4 difrent .diff textures but only one normal map for all 4.

    The map being the.. Model here ? The sort of basic layout of the Volksgrenadier ? Or ? I'm sort of trying to apply some less technical labels here to things :P I'm not a techpriest here.

    No it's a texture for things like the cloth ripples. It applies shaders.

    Right. So you can't do 2 completely different uniforms but have to sort of stick to one overall type with which you make variations ? Or am i going off on another wrong track here ?

    Sort of.. eh? It just uses 1 normal map for 4 skins. Zo i can't really give it a zeltbahn or anything. But if it doesn't matter to you that it might not look that good because of it, i'll do it.

    The PE tank hunter model may do the job,i think they will look good with both field grey or camouflage jackets and still can be used as volks ingame,plus they have ammo pouches and panzerfaust on them,but i m not sure if there is a random texture variation for them.

    Uuh, the 4 variations don't have seperate ABP's. I want to make 2 or 1 have a camo jacket.

    I know they use 1 ABP
    custom rgo\rgm do the magic ,anyway i suggested PE tank busters because their tunic look like something between field grey uniform and camo smock and the normal map shoud not be such a big problem like the one that volks have ,that is why i suggested PE tb.

    There is a random Tankbuster skins model, released by Tankdestroyer some time ago, however i don't think the Tankbuster model would look alright in field-grey, as he's modelled to wear a smock, you can see where the elastic cuffs cut in above his wrists.

    Zupadupadude, i wouldn't worry about the Volks' normal maps, I use the random Volks model with an assortment of field grey and camo skins, both camo tunics and smocks, and it looks alright (to me).

    There is a random Grenadier model, it's the Random_Wehrmacht package released by Slayerknecht. You should be able to find it in his thread in the Ammo Box. Between Tankdestroyer and Slayerknecht, i think all infantry, and most (if not all) vehicle models have been covered. At least all the original Relic ones anyway.

    Zupa, these skins look absolutely awesome. I hope the Grenadiers get some random variations too, maybe a camo painted helmet, and/or camo trousers? If you look at how bulky their trousers and jacket look (especially their sleeves), it looks more like their wearing winter over-pants and a winter parka (except for the collar). Cus summer uniforms aren't that bulky or loose fitting. There were a lot of winter clothes made in camo patterns for the Wehrmacht, so various camo combinations should be quite possible for the Grenadiers. If you fancy skinning in that much camo, that is.

    Btw, Eli and his team are working on a grenadier with the Volks jacket so they won't look like they put toilet paper everywhere. He said i can aslo use it in the pack and not just for the mod.

    I have to wait for Eli and his team to finish the other gren model. I gave em those jackets because then it looks logical that it looks like they put toilet paper in the jacket.

    That is the same problem i have with @HT volks,wich i stated earlyer in this thread.
    Maybe volks and PE grens dont mix well ?
    Do you alpha out all the files i mean normal maps ect. or only the .diff

    anyway it will be great if fix can be found.

    But in my COH HT's Volks work perfectly. Maybe i should try it in-game.

    It's not a bug, just don't "alpha mix" - it's an obsolete method and one that is very dependent on which models you mix. Just come up with a list of items you need mixed and we can look into it eventually.

    Okay. First, i would like a Volks with the Tankbuster legs, but i also want it to have variation. Like tex_ax_grenadier2, etc. And a normal map for every skin. Because i would like it for the Grenadier.

    Here is what I do with Volks and panzergrenadiers. If you can get an rgo edit (4 different skins) to work on the panzergrenadier model then you could get 16 different looking squad members

    Well all the torsos are different. That is why I suggested getting the rgo edit working for the panzergrenadier model would allow for 4 different legs, helmets and equipment.
