    Gurdy modelled both the Ferdinand and Elefant (hopefully both will be able to be toggled with a state). The difference is that the Elefant is an upgrade of the Ferdinand, where a hull MG, commander cupola, and that "gun shield" were fitted while they were being reconditioned at the factory after their initial service on the Eastern Front. As you can see in Jagdpanther's post above, the "gun shield" is that square-ish piece of around bolted around the Elefant's main gun. Tiger205 did leave due to the relatively bad reception he got with some of his vehicles, as some models like the Panzer II and Panzer III were extracted from other games, however, he stated at the time that the Elefant was his own model, and he did create threads here months before he released it showing off the Elefant and taking suggestions as he modelled it. His Elefant model did have some animation issues with the main gun's traverse (it was coded so that the 15 degrees left and right or the gun were 360 degrees (like on a turreted tank). The gun does move, it's just barely visible.

    Back on the main topic, there were Jagdtiger criticals made by Reichsbahn when the Jagdtiger was first released, you might be able to find them in Tankdestroyer's old model thread here. MrScruff's Jagdtiger v2 package also had full criticals, icons, and symbol included in his Jagdtiger_v2 package found in his thread. the Jagdtiger_v2 package also included full attribs, which is something else the v3 package didn't include.

    @LD: I know the jagdtiger has criticals, but they are looking more like the ones from the jagdpanther especially the front part. I'm not sure if this is normal for this vehicle but I don't hope so.

    I never notice the probs of the elefant model ingame.

    I've included engine and main gun crits too, BTW, i've used a jagdtiger plan found on the net so it look different from the elefant/ferdinand critical i've made... i'll see what i can do for an improved version later but for the moment i think it's quite nice

    Eh, so you included the rank icons I made? You are free to use them in a mod and so, but why release them twice? (just wondering). Besides, if you use my rank icons, you need to edit several rank names in the .ucs file as well.

    If i've integrated your rank incons in it's not to release them twice ^^ it's just to avoid any moddifications, so all needed files are already packed in only one, that all

    For the moment i need to have permission from Luciferum (not told him yet) so you'll have to wait a bit

    The main avantage of this modification is that it improve the global feeling/quality of the game lobby/menus, changing from the vanilla appearance... and it save some place on your pc as RelicOnline.sga is suppressed and Engine.sga now ''cost'' only 111 Mo ^^

    @VanAdrian: The following is no offense to your work, so be patient.

    Some things you should keep in mind. If Relic do release a new patch, it could be, that all your hard work will be lost, simply by overwritten archives. The next thing is, normally it plays no role if somebody can save some space and risc therefor an incompatibility. Most of us do use hd's with enough free space. The last thing could be, that a user of your "patch" is unable to play an online match.

    The personal question I have is the following. Where is the difference between your screenshot above and the standard screens? Sorry, but I see none.

    Then i should have clear up a bit more sorry, even if i think i was clear enought the first time haha

    So, for the difference, did you notice nothing ? Hmm strange :

    - the first picture show you that there is no more texts and bubbletext which says somethings about RelicOnline ^^

    - the second picture show you that the submenus selection color is no more 3 grey variations but grey, yellow and orange

    - the third picture only show the improved version of the vanilla german officer, modified by Luciferum in his Historical Skin Mod


    I don't think Relic will release a new patch, but if they do, he, i don't know, make a backup of all the vanilla files so you won't killed by this patch, it's what i do

    For the online match question you're wrong mate I use it succesfully online with all vanilla users


    So there is only minor changes, aswell as the integration of the rank icons Celéstial made, but finally it work fine online without any incompability and it change a bit the game appearance


    In fact it was a realy long and ******* hard job as i had to suppress 1 file by 1 file, testing ingame to see if i can do an online match etc... whew, finaly i succeed and here is the result

    Sorry Im not a vanilla player, that's why I didn't notice some things like the officer.

    Those color stripes above the tabs, I'm sure I have seen those before, but you are right, they are normally only in a grey tone.

    The first pic with the short bubble text, says on my end only "you will be logged in ...". OK yours is something more short.

    That you are still online compatible is really good. But what the hell you will do with a backup that fits not to an actual patch, if relic will ever patch the game again?

    I know how hard it can be to fiddeling with the screen files, so my question goes more the way, is it worth all the effort you putting in?

    I like to try improving the game, then i must say Yes, all my efforts are on the way to create a brand new version of the game, without any unused file, without any wrong shader and with only good quality and historical textures

    I've already fixed the wrong shaders (and gave a public download, but i think i've forgot some in the package ), i've already suppressed all unused files of the environement part of the game too (models and textures) and now i give you some screenshots of what i'm working on, that all

    Hmm nope

    In fact, it's not the middle bubbletext wich was changed, did you notice nothing ?

    Normaly you got a big bubbletext with 4/5 phrases on the side of the middle bubbletexts where it's said (for me) ''connexion''... so there is 1 bubbletext on the left flank, no change on the middle, just suppressed this flank's bubbletext ^^

    Sorry for no news for this long time but i'm realy busy with my time (studies and again studies ) aswell as i'm working on some mods project here and there in priority than realising stuff here, so today i can present something i've done a long time ago, a simple tractor reskin

    There is a lot of stuff i've made to improve the environment variety in CoH without adding new models but only using some unused, hidden or miscelannous stuff, so here we go with the first thing, the blue tractor with closed engine ^^

    It's realed for the mappers who wants to give a personnal touch on their map, so here you go

    I've used the toilet model and reskinned it as i wasn't satisfied of the original guardpost, too small and only black and white... so here we go with a little variation for mapper who want, again, to give a personal touch or a specific feeling to their map

    I was going to suggest the same thing although actually I think that truck is like that because it is not UV mapped. And I am not sure if Adrian would be up to that. But yes, some more variations in the ambient trucks would be awesome! I know I am always trying to keep as few on the map as possible so it doesn't look like everyone in town owns either one of the 2 trucks (grey or red)

    @TT : no it can't be used as a vehicles, it's the same model, just a new texture... anyway you can try to tell BurtondrummerNY cause in ZM there is usable vehicles like this, i mean civilian vehicles which can be crewed ^^ and it work like map object until you use it... maybe try to start your research around this )

    Your work is beautiful, Although for some reason the deliverytruck_01 is still showing up with that messed up texture, any ideas as to why? I will look into it myself of course but all I did was drag the art folder provided into my mods data folder yet nothing has changed :S Although the car shown above has and looks superb

    You need to rename the model files with a different name than "deliverytruck_01" (or "deliverytruck_02")... "deliverytruck_1" or "delivery_truck_01" will suffice. As CoH reads the high quality/low quality packages, if the model uses the same name then it just ignores it and use the packed ones(depending of your game settings).

    Yeah blackbishop is right, sorry but as i've not anymore the vanilla version on my computer (suppressed all unused files and improved all other ), the vanilla delivery truck with messed up texture do not exist anymore and then i've just packed my new texture in the artambient.sga haha ^^

    So for all people who have problem with this, (the only pack where it can happend is the red delivery truck) just rename all model's files (.rgm, .sua, .rga etc...) to a new one which isn't used anymore in the game's archives.

    The map I'm working on (the one which will include your skins and what not) will have to come with my mod I guess because of some objects and stuff, it is an infantry only map (because I disabled tank depots and tank stuff in doctrines) and the entire map is pretty much just one big trench system so it looks pretty cool I might upload some pictures later today or tomorrow idk yet though

    Or if I do release it for vCOH it will have to have requirements of your skins and add ons to get the best results...anyway...I hope you keep releasing little add ons like this because it really add a LOT to my map in variety and what not.
