I would like all of those! But I doubt you would be up to the challenge :P I would personally prefer a vanilla-like texture although still with the canadian markings on the sides like DMz's version has, whatever you prefer though I'm not your boss so just do as you please :P

Include a small fix for the ebps (wich was named "epbs" so it do not worked) using vanilla deuce's .rgd instead of Nhc's one
Do not include the US truck or even the Gnigruh's texture, do not include the crew aswell as it do not include the original DMZ's textures, just the files needed to have what you can see on the screen

I suppose it did occure to you that you used my tyres and my nrm spc and gls on that truck (Because they arnt relics) and then edited them. :/, Take a close look at relics tyres and relics duece nrm spc and gls :/ you might just see the differance. I dont mind just bloodywell say so or eveyone will use my shit and say its relics.
As for the markings British and commenwealth units carry a yellow Bridging circle with the width designation, in the case of a duce thats an 8, and unit maker on the front left of the bumper should be a 51 to match the back not yellow US vehicle designation plate. the ebps worked i havent looked into that but i suppose it depends if your using nhctov or not which is what i edited it for. As for the fixed nrm on the gun ring ??? you selected the green channel and clicked invert ??? . Amazing.

You're credited for the most part of the work on the truck, just cause you did the most part, that's simple ^^
For your tires you're right, i took yours cause i though it was some reason why you made these instead of using Relics, and i don't say that tires where Relics, never... You only said that your texture should be improved, i did it... with some errors you mentioned about markings but he, everybody can make mistakes
Also for the gun ring i didn't fixed the normalmap this way
I realised that most of the custom normalmap around here were only a good green chanel but an alpha one wich is only the green chanel... in grey... a shame
So i took every original files from Relic for the alpha/grey chanel and for the custom one, as only invert color do a black and green tint at the end, i inverted colors + manualy edited the lighting to have the same result than Relic's part
I'm working with Paint.Net since the beginning mate, so for me it's more than hard to do a lot of things that you guys can do in few brush hit or layer addition ^^
I did everything in a way that you seems to miss DMZ, i wanted to help you and to give you some fix to improve your own files, that all...
About skinning from scratch, hm, i already said to Blackbishop that i never tried... it would be hard for me, but if you realy need help, as i have a few bit of free time for the upcoming week (after last exams on 25/26), i could give a try

Yeah the way round that alpha channel problem is on the nvidia normal map filter select normalise, Then make an alpha from the red and the blue like normal. then all you do is copy that alpha to the origional green nrm, of course you then have to check red and green on that to make sure red didnt get inverted when the nrm was origionally made. But even if it did all you need to do is invert the red channel only. Problem i have is i have like 30 of my own to fix like that from a year ago when i knew no better, plus about 30 belonging to other peoples in between. nm ill get round to mine someday. I think halftrack and Xali and Slayer fixed a few anyway so at least thats some i dont have to do.

got the dif, ive sent you 3 nrms back one an edited version of yours where a few parts have been painted and smudged out, a second completly new nrm with new alphas and red channel, and a 3rd similar to the first but with the pocket outlines removed. Youll have to decide which, or you can chop them up and use various parts and layers. If you send me any in future, remember its much easier for me to see what im doing if i have the diffuse aswell so i can see whats meant ot be bumped or inverted ect.
And anyone who wants them i will bother at some point to fix all my older nrms, assuming Van Adrian doesnt go through every model Eli and me ever did by then.

so i just tested your normalmaps a few minutes ago and i must say that it's wrong to my eyes... (don't get me wrong here, i'm not complaining or anything else mate, i'm glad you help me, but i must say it anyway)
I should maybe have been more clear about the issue. When you look at Relic's normalmaps, the green chanel is different from the grey chanel, where colors are inverted and more important, where the lighting comes from another direction.
Look with this example :
The green chanel render a lighting from the back on this example, so the grey chanel is inverted + render the lighting from the left.
That's how Relic did his normalmaps, and that's how i did my normalmaps fixs for the missing nrm + how i did the pioneer's normalmap fix i sent to you... but as far as i'm working with Paint.Net it's realy hard to make a properly textured normalmap in CoH, and i succeed to fix the whole texture except the modified part of the body jacket (pouch + collar)... so instead of giving a green, ligh green and white tint when you open it in corsix's mod studio, you get a green and black texture only (wich mean less lighting detail when rendered ingame).
So what you did is good, but the alpha is totaly wrong.
By this i mean there is not even inverted colors + the lighting is from the same direction, so it means that the alpha chanel is only the green one in black and white.
As long as i not have the needed tools to do this, i can just request help from you DMZ, so here i'll not teach you, cause you're better than myself for near everything here, but for the normalmaps i think we should have some discussing together wich should help both of us into normalmap creation/fixing
The only thing needed for this normalmap in to take the custom green chanel made by Halftrack if i remember correctly (this nrm is used by a lot of skinpack around here, that's why i wanted to fix it originaly ^^) and take Relic's alpha chanel.
Then you just have to take the custom green chanel parts and paste'em into the grey one, here you have to invert colors and to give'em the correct lighting.
I did everything manually (yeah... fool job, but that's the only way i can make lighting another direction) but i fail on the pouch/collar part...
So if you can try to fix the normalmap this way it could be nice.
Anyway it's as a lot of other thing, we have to try 10 time before succeed![]()

Yeah you can invert color, you can even make some sort of bumping.... but so so bad
So all what i can do is to copy the green chanel part i have modified, then make it black and white, then invert colors... And now i just have to take my day to manually change ALL the lighting on this part ^^
But Slayerknecht, Halftrack and DMZ already did very nice Relic styled normalmaps for their differents textures/models they released... there is still some normalmaps like this one wich need to be fixed anyway.

It will fix the normalmap for all people who use Halftrack's pioneer (from his v.3 skinpack or even earlier release) and all other skin pack who use some sort of pioneer's jacket like HTs (realistic skin pack v.6.1 for exemple).
VanAdrian, I know it can be difficult to remove color from particular channels in paint.net so might I suggest this plug-in as looking at the texture there is still color other than black on both the red and the blue channels: http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?showtopic=14522

BTW, i'm having issue with images... they aren't resized now, i get all images with their original size, wich is just hugei'm using Safari as explorer, but i never had this problem before, this is due to the Forum's changments or is it a problem wich isn't currently going to be solved ?

I think I will go ahead and DL the skins for the HMG's, I really like how you have the non-covered vickers, but I hope they won't actually have this yellow-ish tinge to them ingame, would be sorta' weird...

BTW for the american HMG, don't bother about their tint on the imageingame they looks fine.
