Dawn of War platinum edition installation problems.

Dawn of War platinum edition installation problems.

So I found my old Dawn Of War: Platinum Edition CD and the codes to all three of the games. When I put it in, I wasn't able to install it in the first place. It was not being able to read the disc. Fixed it, cleaned the disc, and installed Dawn of War and Winter Assault. Played through them, then I tried to download Dark Crusade but it wouldn't install, so I tried installing it, but it said it was already installed. I tried a thread on this forums idea and went into regedit and looked for the files. Couldn't find them, so like a impatient and Dawn of War crazed man, I tried to delete other files. Now none of them work. I'm so mad at myself, all I want to do is play Dark Crusade. Please help!

Did you remember to check under the WOW6432Node folder, as well as the standard Local Machine folder? Location will depend on your OS type.

Definitely sounds like a registry problem.

I found my WOW6432NODE folder in regedit, nothing about DoW in it though. This is the same with the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE folder. Nothing. Am I missing something? I'll post screenshots if I have to.

Bump. I have Registry First Aid if that helps at all.

I would be tempted to run CCleaner, or Registry First Aid if that is a similar programme.
