Health bar strange black rectangle in Blitzkreig mod.

Hi Everyone,

I have only been playing COH for a week now, great game been wanting to play it for years.

I have noticed a graphics glitch on the health bar when playing the blitzkrieg mod.

While playing the mod, after a vehicle or tank gets a veterans upgrade a rectangular box appears around the health bar. A black rectangle, which also appears on the information bar of that unit (please see attachment)

Has anyone had this issue before? it does not appear on the infantry. I have the latest version of the mod and all its patches.

Since this isn't a bug with the game but looks to be something with the way the Blitzkreig mod works on your system, I'll move this from the bug forum to our modding section, The Armoury. You will find more help with mods there.

Nah, i get this too when playing with High/Ultra graphics settings. If you drop your graphics settings to Low/Medium, the unit veterancy icons work, but they flicker on/off all the time. I have no idea what causes it either, and it certainly doesn't occur with any of the other mods i play, even those that add custom veterancy icons. You might have to post something over at the Technical Support section of the Blitzkrieg mod forums, and hope the Devs there have an idea.

Thanks for the reply, thought I might be the only one with this problem as I couldn't find anything on the net about it.

I have since joined Blitzkrieg mod forum and have posted my original message there, if I have any luck I will post my finding here.

Would rather have the fault than lower the graphics : )
