At around 2 minutes on this replay, you'll see me build a Vickers HMG emplacement on a northern cutoff sector. At around 8:54 you'll see it de-crewed by the AI's flame pio squad. What happens immediately after is one of the strangest things I've seen in this game, and I didn't know it was possible. A Volks squad re-mans the emplacement, then exits the emplacement with the HMG. I'm then able to kill the newly created HMG squad, reclaim the weapon, retreat it to my HQ truck and then use it as a normal HMG squad. The burned-out emplacement remains as a white world object but can't be re-manned.
This was played on the Argentan Crossroads map (http://www.gamereplays.org/community...owtopic=862082), I'm not sure if you'll need it or the GR_MAPS program (http://www.gamereplays.org/community...owtopic=599636), which I used to install it, to be able to watch the replay.
Has anyone else ever witnessed this before? I've re-crewed Brit mortar pits before, but I don't think I've ever re-crewed an HMG emplacement. I certainly never thought to look for an "exit vehicle" option. I think I've seen the option on things like re-crewed Flakvierlings or 88s, but obviously in those cases the exiting men don't take the weapon with them. Is this something players can do, or is it an option only the AI has access to?
