DOW disc 3 issue

Hey folks, first time poster and sorry that the first post is an issue.

I recently decided it was time to re-install the game and play through it all over again. I love the DOW series. Although my issue is that, towards the end of the installation process, Once the installer asks for Disc 3, no matter what I do, it will not read disk 3. I have done my absolute best to assure that all my disks are in tip top shape, they are just as clean and clear as they where when i bought them new. But for some reason, it just will not read the disk. Is there anything anyone can suggest i do?

Are you able to copy the contents of your disk to your hard drive?

If worse come to worse, I remember inserting my Soulstorm CD key into Steam which allowed me to download a digital copy of the game. Never tried it with any of the other games though.

So if i log onto steam and enter my cd key to download soul storm, i should be able to download dow1 for free? i have all the cd keys for DOW, WA, DC and SS.

I'm not certain, but I think that Steam only allows you to download Soulstorm using a retail key, not the other games.

That would make sense, what with the early access DoW2 beta scheme yonks ago. Still, if you get a spare moment transam it might be worth a try. You have nothing to loose.
