    Please forgive me, I have the information on the work of the major moddelers in the readme license on the installer for the mod. I really should have posted more specifics on whos models belongs to who instead of listing shuma, horus and yourself as the primary contributors to this. Ive had the information posted on other posts for a while back before this mod was even being created. I had recieved one email before in which the person was unsure who had made the tau models and I had clarified with them that they were done by NastyNoodle and not myself. We all appreciate your work, Ill send you a pm with more info.

    Thanks for editing the front page to at least include my name lol, but would appreciate you clarifying on the front page something along the lines of "Original Tau models by Nastynoodle" or something.

    Also, one thing that you could do to avoid legal issues with dlc, would be to use all the dlc models however you wanted, 'but' make a few of model's textures link to the dlc files, so you can only play it if you have the dlc installed.

    My apologies, I will make sure to add in the credit you deserve for your Tau models under any instance in which I have posted about them on here. I swore I had an entire section on the front page abut who did which models, maybe it was in a seperate post. I will make sure all of the information is up there, and again I am sorry and did not mean to offend you.

    Thank you all Aye im gunna be working on the dreadnoughts next, and then i should be pretty much done. Im gunna give the rhino stormbolter another try as well. If i can just get the new bones added and the animations to export properly, then setting up the motiontree would be pretty straightforward.

    Thank you agian to all those who have joined. I have posted two links on the steam group to 2 map packs that I perfer to use. Its quite a good ammount of maps within the 2. Between them, theres maybe 1-2 duplicates and a coupple that are a little buggy, but overall they are a pretty decent collection. Im hoping to finish the GK dread today, ill post some pics a little later.

    Ah yes, 6 primary weapon upgrades, left arm launcher upgrade, armour upgrade and 4 mortis weapon upgrades. These are all in the current version on marine dread and ven dread, and will be available to the gk dreads as well.

    GK Land Raider is finished. Will have the same upgrades available as marines. Starting with lasannons, upgrades for hurricane bolters and inferno cannons, as well as top mounted multimelta to replace the starting top mounted stormbolter.

    Thank you, though I have had quite a bit of help from a few other people as well for the GK, such as work by Shuma, Hadrun, Shadowninja, and Horus. Once I am ready for release of this new version, ill make to include all of those who have helped and a list of their works

    Working on some abilities and balancing now. I remembered I need to do something with the librarian too, and add some more stuff to the dread for a ven dread. Im hoping to release this new version within the next week. Honestly I cant wait to be done with modding for a bit and be able to play this heh.

    I know I'm posting a lot in here, but I sincerely hope this mod gets the recognition it deserves - it looks simply fantastic and I love how it keeps to the vanilla gameplay of the base game (your faction, that is).

    A sorely-needed addition to the DoW II scene, and hopefully it will inspire others to follow suit

    Thank you gents. So far so good, just working on some abilites for the captain and the rest of the squads atm. If anyone has any suggestions or reccomendations for abilites they think would be fitting, by all means let me know. The gk will be somewhat similar to the marines, but I am aiming towards giving a psyker feel to them.

    I've just tried it and it's awesome, thx a lot for this.

    btw. Maybe it's common knowledge but:
    I found out that you can pass launch parameters to steam shortcut.
    You just have to add two forward slashes after the game id and it works.

    now can have separate icons for my mods

    Took all day but i managed to finish the gk librarian. He will pretty much be the same except i may give him teleport since he is in termi armour, and bump up his hp.

    Yea the glowing eyes also have electricity comming out of them. looks pretty sweet. I guess a helmet could be in place of the librarians face within the psychic hood but I think the face would be a little more accurate, especially for the GK. I made a 2h version of the librarians power sword too. This suit would technically be compatible for use with a the marines as a termi librarian, tho id have to do a few different animations or setup the motiontree differently to accomodate a stormbolter in the left hand while using a one handed weapon vs the current 2 handed weapon useage with a wrist mounted stormbolter, as well as switch out the gk armour with the marine termi armour. There would also be the option of just having him shoot lightning out of hand as the standard librarian does when equipped with the staff. Not sure if ill be able to get to that before release though, as I have a few things left to do and id realy like to release this within the next few days.

    Yea ive thought about adding him but truthfully, the grey knights and deamonhunters seem to have tons of solo type hero characters, and for this version fo the mod im only going to have time for 1 hero to start off. I still have a bunch of abilites I need to add in. I could release the mod very soon actually but im stuck with trying to decide if I should add more stuff in or just release it. I could be working on this for another 2 months to add in more gk stuff but id really perfer to be done with this asap. I wont have much time comming up soon and id rather be able to release it so that its not just sitting here for several months so that the thread/mod would die ><

    stuff lying around unreleased has been the problem of dow1 comunity all along, better sooner than later

    and from what I,ve seen you've done more than enough allready for the GK , that stuff you might wish to add might be considered a bonus

    -just one more quick consideration , can the GK get the voices from the Inquis_demonhunt mod for dow1??? , since those voices are custom made and not official dow1 material made by relic......

    As far as i remember, the idh mod for dow 1 was technically unfinished, and a few years ago i had sent the guy who made it multiple messages asking permission to mod it way back then and i never heard back from him. In fact it seems like he dissappeared alltogether after that. I can try sending him messages again but i doubt ill hear from him still. Besides, ive only messed with modding sound for dow2 just a little bit and i cant say its all that simple, especially compared to dow1 sound editing which was cake.

    Right now i feel there is enough gk content for an official release. Keep in mind i can always add new stuff in for the future. The units i have finished currently are:

    T1- brother captain, 5man strike squad, 10 man strike squad, 5 purgation squad, 10 interceptor squad, rhino

    T2- gk librarian, 10 purifier squad(similar to marine veterans), gk dread, rhino to razorback upgrade

    T3- 5 paladin(command type squad limit 1), 5 terminator, ven dread, gk landraider

    Brother captain can call in gk dread deep strike at t3 if you can spare the increased cost compared to hq, as well as deep strike land raider via thunderhawk for an increased cost.

    Paladin and termi can deep strike via global as with marines and will be on a timer just to keep things balanced.

    So far they are pretty powerful. Ill need to do a little more balancing/testing before i release it. I wanted to add The Shrouding to the librian since that seems to be a popular ability of his. Should i have it be a regular invis type ability with a small aoe invis, grant cover/dmg reduction in a small radius while active, or both?

    Im going out of town for a coupple days but ill be able to check here periodically. Thanks to everyone so far for the opinions, ideas, and support. Ive put way to much time into this and id like to assure everyone i wont let this die out. Id just like to get this finished and out there so i can take a little break and get some dow2 games goin

    @ General Kong - well theres still a few things that could be added to chaos, tho second to space marines ive done quite a bit of work on them too. In the future id like to have some chaos god specific commanders, havok launcher upgrades for the land raider and rhino, more chaos icons, and some chaos daemons. I even spoke with Gabriel Gortuz on how it would be kool to release some chaos units that are supposed to be in the new codex before it is even released

    @Ranger Logan - Were you refering to adding wargear from the current version into the campaign or more specifically the GK stuff? A GK campaign would be pretty fun, but there would have to be a bit to change around as far as for the 4 commanders go. There is quite a bit that would be different between the GK and space marine commanders. Definately something that would be do-able in the future.

    Not exactly. You could do it just for fun and as simple as you want it. Just some eye candy wargear from the Skirmish & MP units to pimp up the campaign and replace the core units with the ones you added in the current version. There's no need to rush out the Grey Knights. It's better to have them when they're done rather than adding 2-3 more pages to this thread about how buggy they are.

    I like playing the campaign a lot, especially if the current mod makes the Very Hard difficulty a challenge. I really enjoy this mod and how it was done. You're doing a great job, man!

    Been doing some testing the past few days, and adding in the rest of the abilities, costs, and UCS enteries. Im hoping to release it in the next few days. Ive been pretty sick lately so ive been moving slower than normal at doing the ammount of work on it I normally would.

    I would like to request screencaps of the new Razorback turret you mentioned. Bloodravage made a TL lascannon, I believe, and it's just as awesome as his dreadnought arms.
