Vindicare unit for other faction?

Hello guys.

I just back to Soulstorm and i was wondering if it's possible add a unit from one faction, in this case the vindicare assassin from the imperial to other race like space marines or battle sisters. If it's possible could you guys tell me the tool or mod that add those units without move many of the vanilla features?.
I saw Titanium Wars but i don't want start with big mods yet just unit mods.

Yes it absolutely is possible.

I personally recommend Corsix mod-tools, especially for what you want to achieve.

Varellian's tutorial should be a good starting point. However, to make it work with the Vindicare Assassin you're going to have to edit the squad blueprint's squad_requirements section (the basic guardsman squad doesn't have any requirements, so that isn't fully covered at the start).

The simplest possible way to add a unit to any race is using a wincondition.scar, so you can just have the unit when you start the game without regard to requirements or anything. But you probably want to recruit it like a normal unit, which means creating a mod, as Varellian illustrates.
