How to copy animations from one unit and add them to another?

    Hi
I'm new to modding and i've been trying to copy range_burst animations from guardian to farseer with no luck.

What I did was basicly extract animations from guardian > import farseer in 3dsmax, import missing bones for the animations, and batch import the whole range_burst folder > save > export animations > save farseer model.
Then I Open Farseer with santos model editor > import animations folder > import motions and events from guardian > add animation map for range_burst. And of course it didn't work, farseer was still using her melee_spear animations when equipped with shuriken gun.

    Any tips will be appreciated

Theres a few things that could be causing the Farseer to not properly use the added in weapon stance ingame. After having updated and imported the missing bones for all of the animation files, im guessing you put them in a folder called 'range_burst' under data/art/race_eldar/farseer/animations/range_burst? After doing this, make sure when you open up the farseer model in the model editor that you have 'load from animatons folder' checkmarked under edit-->settings at the top. this will load the animations from the folders instead of from the .hkanim file. when you save the model, it will update the .hkanim file with the newly added ones. Once this is done, just make sure that in the model editor, under Data Table, there is an animation template called range_burst, and that when you go up to the top under Motions, select the range_burst tree under the rootnode, scroll to thje bottom under 'conditions' that the 'state_condition' is set to "range_burst'. Doubble check that this range_burst section is pointing to the correct folder and animations within. Make sure the wargear you are using is set to "range_burst" and try both slot 1 or slot 2 to get it working properly ingame. If its still not working, try setting range_burst as default in the Data Table to see if its just not recognizing the range burst command.
